So, one of the things I managed to fix, before I fixed the titles not showing up under the product images, was the links at the bottom of the page that showed more "new items" on my shop. They use to mess up and show only 4 items instead of 12 items if you clicked on page 2. Well, while searching around I found a fix for that and low and behold it worked! Oh yeah! Finally! Finally you could click in the numbers and get the right items showing out. Neat...

Then I spent 5 hours looking for the problem with the stupid titles and images and now that I FINALLY, FINALLY found a fix for that... the fucking links at the bottom are completely broken. Not only does it not show 4 items or 12 items it shows a big 404 fuck you aren't you tired and frustrated. Yay, whee. Even resetting the code I just fixed isn't fixing the problem.

To be honest I have no idea what could have broke them since the CSS I was messing with shouldn't effect THAT CODING STUFF. But if I've learned anything it's that the shortcode coding for this plug-in is made of tissue paper and cotton candy and never stays fixed and always stabs me right in the eye when it's 6 AM and I stayed up all night fixing some other bullshit.

I am flying some birds right now.

I'm at the point where starting over is looking better and better.

Someone who uses CSS more then me, please save me. It wasn't like this until I updated Wordpress and now I can't figure out what part of the code needs to be murdered. Maybe I just need to get a more current theme or something but I still want to know whyyyy. Hates. Also the shop part of my site has a different font for no reason I can see. It's using the exact same theme as my main site but the fonts are different? Why?

Edit: Really? Really CSS? "Display: block;" is what i was missing? Why did I have to put it on all the link attributes in theme?? Even on Hover? I'm figuring there's a overall link thing I should have added it to but hey it works! I will not look a gift horse in it's mouth.

I did manage to fix the new products part of the front of the shop so that the next page bits actually work. Which was frustratingly easy and yet completely unintuitive maybe even unsatisfying simple.

I survived Anime Overload and I sold a chunk of the manga/artbooks/crap from my room that I brought there. I still need to move more of it so I hope to post a list of stuff here for you guys. I have high hopes that you fine people may want this stuff and I can send it far far away from me.

They asked me if I wanted to come back and I wasn't sure. On one hand I never want to move that much stuff into my car and down the road to a convention center in the middle of the Texas heat. On the other hand I sold about 30% of the books/toys I brought. On the other other under hand, dear god please no, also 30% was probably most of the good stuff people there would ever want.

I have the strong desire to shove the rest of my manga in a dumpster but the effort is probably too much. Right now boxes of it are downstairs looking accusingly every time I go down there. They are waiting to go back in my room where they will box me uncomfortably into a smaller and smaller space. Help.

Continuing my streak of only letting you guys know where'll be appearing the day or two before the event. I'm going to be at Anime Overload http://www.animeoverload.net/ all this weekend in Austin, Texas. Though instead of being in artists alley I'm going to be set up in the dealer's area selling not only my art but a large chunk of my manga/comics/book collection. I will have the new "Circle of Cute" Shirt and bunch of other things I have yet to post to my site because I have been busy and other lazy excuses like that. Hopefully my stuff will sell and my house will get a little less cluttered. =D

Passed a car yesterday night on the freeway that had a build up of about 3 inches of snow. Looked unreal since there wasn't even the possibility of snow falling where we were. But they were driving south so maybe where they spent the night before where there was snow on the ground. The icicles on the bottom of the car made me think it had been out in the snow for at least a day or a night without being moved. It was cold enough that I could understand the snow not melting off as the car drove down the highway.

Awww the owl went away.

The Circle of Cute got an Honorable Mention on Shirt Woot. Which means that even though it didn't print that it will have another chance in the second chance derby... which they hold every 12-14 derbies.

I actually have 3 shirts that have gotten an honorable Mention. The Rabbit Family Tree, The Ugliest Duckling, and Circle of cute so they will all show up for voting in the future. I think all of these HM should tell me that I need to send them some stuff for their daily shirts instead of always trying for the derbies. Since the staff seems to like my new stuff. Ugh, why am i sooo lazy. Wiggles hands.

I may have a small contract job making some shirts because of all the designs I've been doing. Sadly, I also had to make a resume. I should have made one years ago I don't know what's wrong with me.

I will be hitting Further Confusion again this year. I'll be at the ClubStripes table helping to sell stuff there. I should have some of my cute art stuff for sale at the table and I will also have 2 art show spaces in the General section. Mostly wood art and prints. I have a giant version of the puking cat as a canvas print but I have no idea how to get it there, maybe in my luggage. It's really big. =/

Convention Schedule

Anthrocon, July 2-5th: I have an art show space that I'm trying to fill with some of the cute cat stuff I've been making. It sucks to paint digitally sometimes... I just hope making really nice prints will sell since my original sketches for these images are really rough and small. Grumbles a bit. I put in an order for a canvas print of the Cat Puking Kittens for the art show. Not sure how this will go since the canvas prints are kind of expensive. I'll also be helping Ponygirl run her table and should have some poster prints of my art and the Catalyst folio there as well.

San Diego Comic Con, July 23-26th: I will also be putting art into the art show. I made it into the Udon Darkstalkers tribute book with an adorable image of Q-bee, Felica, Morigan, Lilth and B.B. Hood having a tea party, which I can't post until after the book comes out. =/ But I get to pick up a book from those guys at the con. I'm also going to be working at the Clubstripes booth helping them sell books and confusing people by being a cute girl that looks normal selling porn. Yay for free badges.

San Japan, Aug 14-16th: Which is actually in San Antonio, Texas and not in Japan at all. I have no idea how this con will go since it's my first time going. I'm suppose to be some sort of guest so I might have a panel on drawing furry art which I'm sure will be hilarious.

I may go to Anime Fest which is in Texas as well but hopefully that will be the end of my conventions for the year. If any of you guys are going to these please stop by and say hi or something.

I'm finishing stuff here before I take off for A-kon: http://a-kon.com/ , which is an anime convention this weekend in Dallas. Me and Shawnna have a Komik Market table right next to the escalators in the main hall, A-8 supposedly.

I just got the Catalyst folio back from the printer, it printed really great, and I finally have new business cards. I'll also have huge giant prints of some of my weird cats (Like the pancats, flower cat, and cat puking kittens... I really need to post some art when i get back from the con) and a few new buttons. So I'm full of new cool things to buy. Come by and chat me up... er you know in the talking type way.

Ugh, sadly I ran out photo paper and can't print any more small prints. Con struggles. Oh shit, I should go to the bank soon.
