It's been a long time.
My Etsy store still exists, but I don't know if I'm ever going to do anything with it again.
Between the years of health issues, near constant stress, and chronic severe depression/anxiety, I haven't really been able to bring myself to knit anything. It's been a struggle to do any of the creative things I used to enjoy, for that matter.

About a year ago, however, I did finally managed to pick up my stylus and start drawing again, but I only uploaded to DA. It might sound silly, but that was all I could bear to do, especially where I wasn't sure how long I'd be able to keep up the momentum.

Depression is funny like that I guess. It makes everything feel like pulling teeth.
I'm trying my best to fight it though; to keep my art from slipping away again.
That's partly why I've come back here. Maybe this little resurrection will help to further motivate me to continue.

I'm going to be reposting what I've been putting up on DA, so apologies in advance for the spam.
Hopefully I'll be able to keep running with this and maybe even start offering commissions if anyone would be interested.

For now, just know that I'm back.

My friend  chipfreakhound is getting kicked out of her place through no fault of her own so she could really use some financial help.

This weekend I was supposed to attend a convention on the other side of the Island but unfortunately my car had other plans as it broke down on the way. That sucked, but I was still able to use this weekend for other projects such as the cybergoth outfit I'm working on.

Had a blast this past weekend!

My little stuffed toys went over well again and I got to meet Jeffrey Combs!
I gave him one of my knitted dolls; a little Cthulhu, It seemed appropriate since so much of his work is based on the writings of HP Lovecraft. He was very nice and he seemed to like the gift :D
Got his autograph too EEEE!

I was fangirl-ing so much I forgot where my table was for a moment haha

As you've probably guessed from the new parent syndrome style pictures I now have a little pet mouse.
His name is Stitch
Before I got him, I did all sorts of research on what he would need to be happy. One thing that people kept saying was to get a good exercise wheel, preferably a solid one so as to avoid injury to his little tail. So I did it. I went out and got the best damn exercise wheel I could find. The Cadillac of exercise wheels.

Since I brought him home, Stitch hasn't touched it

So I made him a play area out of cardboard boxes and toilet paper rolls because he needed exercise... The ultimate cheep toy. He loves the thing

He won't touch the fancy wheel but he'll gladly play with old cardboard tubes *facepalm*

Just thought that was funny and figured I'd share

Holy Hell what a weekend!

As I said before, this was my first time having a table at the convention and I could not be more pleased! My little knitted stuffed toys went over well and I got to meet some amazing people and to see some kick ass costumes and fursuits. I will be posting some pics shortly
