Will be posting some aircraft photos I took in December 2016 this week, since I'll be working almost the entire week! I may do some spotting this weekend, but I'll have to wait and see what my schedule is like those days!

As of right now I'm gonna wrap up the presents for the family, chill and play games, watch a few movies, and upload some images in-between!

The problem I have when it comes to editing is that I'm too much of a perfectionist! If there's anything out of place, no matter how small, after editing, I tend to redo the image from the beginning!

I think I've finally found the right settings that'll result in super crisp and colorful images, only problem is now I have to go back to all the other photos and update them!

I plan to upload some stuff from this past week, then return to more airshow photos! :)

Going to work on some additional static display photos, then the demonstration done by Vicky and her 1940 Boeing Stearman.

May also get the Heritage Flight photos started!

The next big batch of uploads will consist of the demo team known as the West Coast Ravens! This is a team made up of 24 pilots, each flying a variation of the Vans RV general aviation airplane!

The first set of photos will include almost all the RVs that make up the team! The second batch will include the takeoff and formation photos!

There'll be plenty of demonstration photos to share! :D

I want to apologize for the delay in uploading photos from aviation nation 2016. This week has been especially busy for me.

For the past five days, I've worked an all-nighter from 9 pm to 4 or 5 am. Saturday and Sunday are my only days off, and I plan to use that to get some more photos up.

I will be working on some additional static displays and the F-4 Phantom II's Vietnam War reenactment. :)

Now that I got the few 'highlight' photos out of the way, I'll begin posting demos and statics in order.

Please bear with me as I decide which of the 3700+ photos to choose from.

Expect hundreds and hundreds of photos of awesomeness!!! XD

At long last, I finally got the Albatross that had been sighted so many times arriving or departing from Henderson Executive Airport!

I will definitely have the photos up later! :D

I will turn 38-years-old on 4 September 2016, which falls on a Sunday! An actual party for me will take place on my sister's birthday, which is on the 9th of September! Just thought I'd give you guys and gals a heads up!

As of now, I'm working on some NBAA Exhibition photos I've yet to post! I'll get some of them up later tonight! :D

This incident happened in Dubai, and involves the Emirates airline!

All I know so far is that the pilot reported a problem with the landing gear and had to make an emergency landing.

There was only one injury out of the 300 passengers onboard the plane!

All passengers got out safely!

The 777, most likely a 77L, eventually caught fire! It's pretty much a write off!

In addition to all the photos I took, my brother took me into the air in a rented Cessna 172!

So I have some awesome aerial shots to share with you!

I have a bunch of aircraft photos ready to be edited! Once I get done with those, I'll start on some of the aerial photos!

I just want to welcome all my new watchers and say thanks to my current watchers that have suck with me and my incredible interest in all things aviation!

I've got a backlog of photos to share with you guys, and I plan to upload most of them over time!

In case you guys are wondering what settings I'm using, it's mostly been manual mode! Shutter is normally at 1/1000, aperture is set at f13 or f14! If the image appears bright or slightly dark, I can easily fix it using Adobe Photoshop Elements 14!

Lastly, I received a major scare the other day! I thought I lost all the photos I took from 2013 to mid-2014! To give you a rough estimate, that would've been over 20,000 photos down the drain! Thankfully, I managed to recover the folder which had them all!

As for those old photos, they'll most likely resurface in my gallery! But I'll be sure to select the really important photos!

So I figured out how to almost match the color of saved images with that of the original .NEF file (RAW file).

That said, I'll go through and update the images I recently posted.

Working on some of them now. Will upload as soon as I'm done editing them.

Will be working on all "Shamu" 737 photos soon. Those will go to my other account.

I also plan to discuss the three steps in my editing process in the future.

The purpose of this account is to post previously uploaded images, but using editing techniques I didn't use before. These images will provide better sharpness, less noise, and more vividness than what you've seen before.

I already have a batch of photos in the works. Some will be uploaded tonight. And just so you guys know, any new photos I capture from this point on will be posted on my main account.

So I got with one of the individuals responsible for this site's acceptable upload policy, and learned that aircraft photos can be posted into the gallery. So from now on, unless I'm told otherwise, all aircraft photos will be posted in my gallery instead.

Also, Norwegian Air Shuttle will arrive in Las Vegas for the first time on Halloween at 4:25 pm local time. I cannot wait! It'll be the start of the first ever 787 service into and out of McCarran Airport.

At 4pm local Las Vegas time, this flight was taking off. During the run, the flight crew reported a fire in the left engine and aborted the takeoff. It stop towards the other end of the runway, near taxiway A5. As the fire got worse, all passengers and crew evacuated the plane safely. There were injuries, but those were caused by the emergency slides.

As for the aircraft, it was one of the GE90 jets. As of now, I don't know where the aircraft is parked, nor do I know if the NTSB is currently investigating the plane.

I was at home watching the dogs when the incident occurred.

This is the second incident involving a BA 777-200, and the second time everyone made it out safe and sound.
