Thank you everyone who's been supporting my commissions recently, I really appreciate it so much. However, I feel like I'm going to have to pause them for a bit after the one I'm finishing up now, due to a lot of life and mh issues combined with studying my masters.

The gist of it is that I've not been feeling very confident in myself and my art, constantly being a perfectionist and comparing my quality and time spent on pieces compared to other more established artists in the UK furry scene. I hate feeling this way since y'all are my friends, but brain be like that sometimes. I also feel bad taking on another work load on top of masters work, volunteering at CFz, etc. The only way I could feasibly open commissions is if I completely give up weekends and hobbies, and don't give myself any time to breathe.

I would also like to spend more time improving 2D art skills. I genuinely have no fucking idea what I'm doing most of the time truth be told, and my "good" art is just happy little accidents or me trying desperately to replicate someone else's style. I barely improved in the last 8 years, and this needs to change.

So yeah TL:DR, I have bad time management and my 2D art is lazy, my peers are better than me, that's why I'm temporarily closing commissions for now.

I previously posted a commission sheet saying that I would open up commissions soon, and now I can confidently say that they're now officially open!!

I started to have a panic attack with a ton of thoughts racing a mile a minute in my head, about my reputation both irl and online. While not all of my TF/TG stuff wasn't explicitely sexual, the characters I made TF/TG artwork of are all fairly ambiguous but portrayed as fairly young, particually Sonic The Hedgehog. The works were also quite descriptive of what the characters were going through to an uncomfortable degree. I understand that making any light fetish content on Sonic characters can make a large number of people incredibly uncomfortable, and I wanted to apologise to anyone who was upset at seeing me make this sort of stuff. There are just some things that aren't worth doing at the cost of losing friends and close mutuals.

The worst part of this all is how hypocritical I come off as when making this sort of content. I feel sick when seeing NSFW content made of characters who are very clearly and visibily minors (Tails, Cream, any anime girl or cartoon protag who is clearly under 18, etc) and yet my brain is so normalised to seeing characters like Sonic, Amy, Shadow, Knuckles, etc in fetish/NSFW scenarios. Even if SEGA seemed to have retconned their ages in recent editions to Sonic canon, many people associate them with being teenagers as their ages were listed in game manuals in the past. I was exposed to a lot of fetish content unknowingly as a child growing up with Youtube in the late 2000's/early 2010's, and much of that exposure was transformation content. Not only did this content warp my perception of body image in women and give me heavy amounts of gender dysphoria for years, but it normalised so much sexual content regarding Sonic characters. There's a lot in my mind that I need to unwire from that period of my life, and completely cutting out TF/TG artists who do TF art of Sonic, along with deleting any and all content of that nature to do with the Sonic series.

Following this, I will no longer be using this account for TF/TG content. I might make a new FA account for this sort of content, featuring only characters who are confirmed to be adults/OCs belonging to adults. That account will also not include any Sonic content whatsoever, regardless if the characters are "aged up".
