I know I'm a terrible person..
Posted 11 years agoI've been so bad about being active and art and stuff.
I've actually done a ton (tontontontontonton) of traditional art that's up on dA and EBay and so, but I'm a tad iffy about posting it here because it's all non furry (most is Dark Souls related, actually...) but yes. I am alive!
(Actually now that I think about it, it's more on my art Tumblr than anything, which is: http://kai-sketchdumps.tumblr.com so please come check it out if you wanna see what I'm up to on a much more frequent basis.)
.It's the Christmas season, and I've been busy. Taking care of my love, getting gifts for the family, and so, as well as RPs! I run (as a team with UndergroundByDesign on dA) a Dark Souls 2 based RP blog, called Hands of the King, with our Muses being Sir Velstadt, the Royal Aegis, and Rebel Raime, The Fume Knight. (It's so much fun...) So I've been dedicating a lot of time to writing as well as working on reaction pics/gifs.
I will eventually do a more drawn out update on my life, and I was just curious about something and I figured I should give a bit of a reason as to why I'm never around. ^^ Would anyone be interested in traditional artwork? I'm currently doing small things like ACEOs (which are 2.5x3.5), fully inked, colored and laminated for only $10.00 and free shipping in the US (currently offering on Facebook x Twitter) So if you'd be interested in seeing my samples and possibly even getting a custom one, just..comment or something? (:
(It's 1 in the morning and I'm about to collapse, so I'm not sure how coherent any of this) Okay I'm going to bed.

Update + Hiatus is Semi-Over

Hi guys, Kai here.
Shit's royally kind of blown up over here, and drawing has been put to such a backburner I've almost forgotten how to. (Picking up my tablet is a foreign experience all over again, it's really kind of weird.) So I'll just kind of bullet point what's been going on for anyone who really cares to know.
-Entire house has been redone (Floor to ceiling, every room). Really kind of awesome, but kept me busy.
-Full time college
-New laptop
-Starting tutoring again (Yay money. <3)
-Temporarily closing commissions, until I get better
-People over my house all the time.. *ahem iaccomodateyou...*
-Massive amount of sketchdumps (Will be on tumblr, not here.)
-Physical therapy
-Yoga (For the physical therapy. Gotta calm down somehow.)
Art trades will still be open for those who want to do them, and requests are now open but in-stream only. If I don't feel like doing them, I don't stream. Really simple. Since IRL life is getting quite crazy, I want to keep my art-involved workload as low as possible until I get comfortable churning out quality work again. If you guys have anything you think I really need improvement on/would like to see me do more of, just let me know! I need a place to start anyway.

I've wanted to do one forever, and since I'm going back to school tommorrow and I'll hopefully have some free time I wanted to throw the idea out there, as a sort of... early birthday gift to myself. (My birthday's the 4th, but I'll be in school all day.) So if you want to do it, please just kind of throw yourself into a comment? I have this up on DeviantART too, so I'll probably get more than two people offering, so..yeah. it's not a first come/first serve basis though, so don't worry if you see this later.
Also, since I'm going back to school, anyone who knows me knows I doodle a lot more in school. On the train and such, and in the two hour break I have between classes. I'm breaking in a new style, and I would like some.. test subjects..eheheh. So I'm taking 5 (at a time, I'll do these in groups) sketch requests! They'll be done traditionally, and then I'm going to render them something like this: http://earnesttryvia.deviantart.com.....pens-424980434 Very sketch-i-doodly. But it's free! Posted 12 years agoI swear to God some days I just don't win. Oh well. I'm not ignoring FA I promise.
I got swamped with like..8 commissions all at once, which I'm super grateful for but it's taken up a /lot/ of my time. I will get to posting them as soon as they're done though. Then I'll doodle a ton and spam all my art sites.
