If you still follow me, well thank you. I know this page has been rather dead lately so thanks for sticking around. Some bad news first, my car's transmission died so I'm in the market for a new one and like many, I can barely afford it. Good news is, thanks to my friends and lovely fiancé I am still able to go to Anthrocon this year to help my friends at  grinningwolfstudio so please check out their booth. If you see me around in my Kage mask (photos coming soon) please come say hi but ask for any hugs first! Due all this this I'm opening up commissions for the foreseeable future. Lastly I'll be doing art fight for the 5th time this year on Team Fossils!

Yesterday I said good bye to my dog and forever best friend Kraken. She was an 11 year old husky/pit mix and ever full of energy and mischief. Sadly she passed due to Mast Cell cancer which took over so quickly we could barely keep up and by the time we finally got a proper diagnosis she was given 2-3 weeks to live but unfortunately it ended up being less than a week. Although she is my second dog and 3rd pet to pass she was the first dog that was 100% mine (of course she still was a family dog lol cause all of us loved her). I will miss her everyday for the rest of my life. Of course there are a few things I regret we didn't get to do (there always are) but I'm happy to say they are few and not big deals; we took her on vacation and camping so we had plenty of adventures.

In regards to my recent vent piece, thank you to everyone who reached out. Its nothing life threatening, and it is related to an old injury that I had surgery to fix, but is coming back and will just be something I deal with the rest of my life (chronic) and is currently causing me mild pain. It really sucks but I'll be fine.

As for my first Anthrocon, I had an absolute blast and look forward till the next time I can attend. My fiancé endured and tolerated being my handler and all the furry immersion, despite being a non-furry himself. I also survived the Parade lineup/wait as well as the brutal heat (80F's and high humidity). All in all, the post-con-depression is setting in and I can't wait to go back.

For the rest of July, I am attempting Art Fight as Team Werewolf! It is fitting for Julycanthropy as well so be prepared to be wolfified! Due to this though I am temporarily closing commissions for the next month or so.

Hello all, here is my (nearly) half a year update lol. Life update, I officially got engaged in February! I'm also happy to say I finally get to go to Anthrocon next month! Not my first furry or con in general but definitely the biggest furry convention I'll have been to! Happy New Year Everyone! While this year was just as tough as the last, we got through it! For myself this was a record year in terms of art. I haven't made this many pieces in one year since, well probably my college days. I'm hoping this is a testament to all of my hard work of really trying wrangle and figure out my mental health over the past few years. In that respect I still have a way to go (working on figuring out medications) but hopefully have made steps in the right direction. This has been a year to say the least. Hope you are all surviving, and doing your best out there. Hope the Holidays bring you some joy and if not, hope you get through them unscathed and here's to hoping next year will be a bit better! Stay safe everyone.

As usual, not dead lol just an update. So far this year has been a roller-coaster of emotions/changes for me, which I'm sure a lot of you can relate to. I had a huge fight with my sister over New Year's so now I'm doing my best to cut her out of my life (with the exception of family gatherings in which I will be civil). I got a small promotion at my job which came with a pay raise but is causing me endless anxiety/stress. I moved with my boyfriend into our own apartment, still adjusting to but so far has been great. My last grandparent (Grandma) on my Dad's side passed away at the beginning of March but luckily before my state/county went into mandatory quarantine so at least we still got to gather for it. The quarantine, but that speaks for itself, luckily my job is considered essential and now I'm working from home so that is nice at least, but they did restrict all overtime (of which I usually work an extra 8-10hrs a week). I got super sick with some kind of cold which gave me an infection so bad that two weeks later I'm still on steroids to try and clear my inner ears so I can get my full hearing back (I can more or less hear out of both but my left ear is 10% and my right ear is 90% clear). Finally, my Intuos pen broke and until I get better I can't go over to my dad's to pick up my Cintiq, so currently unable to do digital work. Otherwise trying to stay positive, planted a small garden on my balcony and will just keep on keeping on.

Hello everyone! I'm not dead I promise and I didn't mean to suddenly fall off the grid. Life just got away from me but it should be (mostly) calming down now lol. I had two wonderful vacations (one to the mountains with family, the other to my first furcon Furpocalypse) but ended up not having a lot of down time on either of them so I did not get to use the time to catch up like I had hoped. To top it off, because I need to work a certain amount of hours per week in between vacations and these past weeks I had the opportunity for overtime, I've been working back to back 12hr shifts lol (a few going longer...shout out to my friend  Recurrent who this happens to weekly lol). Worry not, even though I did not get the chance to finish all 31 days of Inktober I do have all the commissioned slots done and I will be uploading all of them shortly, I wish FA had a mass upload button also I apologize in advance for the Inktober dump. in the next day or so I will contact everyone who opted in to have theirs shipped to them for addresses and such and will be working on digitally coloring those who got that. All in all thanks for your patience and I hope everyone had a nice Halloween!

Details:

I'm opening up commission slots for Inktober, with Wednesdays specifically reserved for werewolves! Let me draw your character in costume, atmospherically spooky, or as a monster! All artwork will be traditional black and white on paper sketches, no bigger than 4x6 (some a tad smaller) and in some kind of ink. Each slot is $13, for one character, limit two slots per person and must be SFW (will make exceptions for some blood and gore). I can add color in marker for an additional $10 or I can add in digital color later (after all Inktober sketches are completed). I am also offering to ship the original to you for an additional $5 within the US, but international shipping will vary.

BUT WAIT! There is a twist, 4 slots are free slots as my thanks for over 100 watchers BUT they are a secret and you will not be told until you claim a date.
*Color options will not be included in these free spots but you can still pay to add it on.

Since I am doing these for October I'd prefer for them to be Halloween themed as well, but is not necessary. I will also do my best to post these day by day but I do have some vacation time and my first fur con (Furpocalypse) which may cause some delays.

UPDATE ON LIFE: Currently working two jobs with unfortunately no days off D: although I don't work more than 55hrs a week so I can't really complain, because of this though I am not reopening for commissions anytime soon.
