Update $58 - I Got Medication!!!

This is going to be a short update. I promise, I haven't forgotten about posting. The past few months have just been a bit difficult, political situation notwithstanding. There are a few things looking up, though, and I'd like to share that at least:
1. I just got back on medication for ADHD and anxiety.
2. I'm back on track with commissions.
3. We're doing raffles in the discord server!
4. My trans friends are in a safe place and are being cared for.
Now on #2 specifically - I know commissions are late. It's been more than a year since I committed to twenty slots and I'm still not through. In light of this and aware of the potential dissatisfaction, I am offering refunds for anyone disappointed with the current rate of production. I will otherwise go down the list and accomplish your commission in the time available to me. I cannot offer a delivery date in good faith, but I made a promise to work on them. I intend to keep that promise.
Uploads will start up again next week. There is a backlog of work sitting in drafts that needs to be sorted out, and there's a few in there I think you might like. Part of those - the majority of those anyway - are raffles hosted on my Discord server Book Club, which take the form of ditty-sized writing prompts. Once a month, two prompts are chosen at random and turned into writing. If that interests you at all, check out the link below and submit your idea! It might end up as prose!

Equipped with only a Schofield .45, his wits and an enigmatic reporter, the detective follows her trail through the island wilderness in a story of repression, greed, cruelty and living through your worst moments over and over again. Inspired by the works of Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, Edogawa Ranpo and H.P. Lovecraft, and the expansive genre of sad wet men finding a reason to live. Posted a year agoShort update y'all - I quit twitter.
I know I know, took me long enough. I hear you. To be honest, the announcement that Grok would be harvesting Twitter data from the 15th on, along the removal of block functionality sealed it for me. There is no point staying on the platform. It's gotten bloated with weird ads, nazis, paid engagement and outright sedition, and the inability to protect yourself from that shit is the last straw. Fortunately, Blusky is receiving an influx of twitter refugees, mostly in furry artists and refined posters.
If you haven't made the break yet, I encourage doing it right now. Twitter won't get better until Elon Musk leaves or sells the company, and until that happens, you deserve to be on a happier, less polluted platform than the one currently endorsing hate speech.

Update #55 - Batches and Plans
Posted a year agoHowdy folks, it's been a minute! Geez, more like a year.
Commissions closed in March! Since then, I've been plugging away at the recent batch of commissions. The pace has been steady, thankfully, though I am still a bit behind on a few things promised to friends. My Trello went down a while ago due to information going out that should have been confidential, but for transparency's sake, I think y'all you have a clear understanding of what's coming up and when.
This round of commissions are being done in batches! Each batch consists of 4-5 stories grouped by their kinks or themes. Batches will be uploaded to the channel two weeks after their completion in weekly order. I'm going to supplement this with more effort dedicated to promotion on BluSky and Twitter, both for new pieces and old ones. The first batch is mostly done. It should start going up by next week on Monday!

As of writing, Twitter is throttling the way users can see posts to where only verified (subscribed) Twitter users can reliably use the site. My promotional identity was tied to Twitter, at least as far as extending my reach as a kink writer. However, I am not willing to pay 8 dollars a month for the privilege of being on a social media platform. That goes against my ethics as an anarchist, on top of being just fucking tacky in general.

Update #54 - The Last One Was Five Months Ago
Posted 2 years agoHowdy folks, it's been... oh fuck, five months. That's a good while.
It should come as no surprise to anybody that delays have gotten worse. I have had to issue refunds and restructure my process in order to get any sort of content on schedule. To any of y'all affected, I apologize deeply. It's a combination of losing time to work and feeling the burnout beginning to turn into a brain cramp.
At the moment, there is no schedule. I have commissions lined up from the list and a rough timetable to do them, but putting a date down is counterproductive at this point. It will get done when it gets done.
This may mean more delays before I finally open up again. If that feels too long or you'd like to withdraw your submission - by all means. I can refund you. Money isn't any issue right now.
For the sake of being consistent, though, maybe I should return to monthly updates. The guilt of not having anything to present as progress paralyzed me up to this point, but it's not really a good way to interact with y'all.
Is it conceited to say I think of y'all as an actual community?
Anyway, there is good news! Leomono is done! It's being posted throughout the week! Check back daily for chapter drops! This one was seriously good content for me (even if I went 12,000k over budget in the word count). Sgata was a wonderful client and I'm glad to have put together such a beefy isekai with him.
Some changes are also being implemented on the Patreon side of things to encourage ditty submissions from lower tiered subs. No idea where I'll be going with that, but there could be a patron drive later in the year for Halloween and Christmas content??? POSSIBLY?
Nobody knows, not even I know.
I hope 2023 has been going well for y'all. Delays aside, I'm actually happy with my position, even if my output isn't *stellar.* Have you gotten much done towards your goals? Taken a good break? Done your taxes? Tell me in the comments, I'll give as honest a reply as I can!

Update #53 - Workinating the Urban Jungle

This update is going to be short, which is fitting, considering the state I'm in physically (and locationally). The move has been successful, and a job has been acquired. However, my body is shot from jumping back into a 25 hour work week at Target (I won't say which one). My legs are killing me and I'm already late with ditties, so as you can imagine, I'm not in the best set of circumstances, but I'm glad to be making enough money to pay bills again.
This will mean delays again, though hopefully not for long. Completing Jim's megaditty project and Possession delayed several commissions. I will try to get to them as fast as I can. However, if at this point you feel production is running to slow, you are valid for asking for a refund. Just wait until the 9th or so so that I can pay you back in full.
The production schedule looks as follows for November:

Posted 3 years agoHowdy folks, it's been... oh shit, two months! Two months since I last did an update!
Don't worry folks, I'm not dead; just overstimulated and burnt out. If you've noticed, recent updates have been coming without warning or particular buildup, and that's largely on me. Over August, I received news my contract for part-time work at a nearby school wasn't renewed. Either they didn't need the help (unlikely), or the contract in question was only set for one year and they didn't want to rehire (more likely). I was looking forward to that job to help propel me through the fall and keep my life in balance, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards.
So I moved. I am currently in Cambridge, Massachusetts, staying with a long-time F-list friend. I moved in, made sure all my stuff came with me. There's a variety of reasons for why I moved again - the big one being that my roommates in Connecticut were getting along fine without my help, and it felt like having four in a two-bedroom was getting on everyone's nerves. No hard feelings, just an acknowledgement of space needs. I spent September preparing for the move, after taking time in August to see the space and adapt to it.
This has affected story output! I'm sure you can see how. Planning the move and lapping my sleep schedule, and really just poor work motivation across the board, has slowed down my work, and if I'm honest with y'all, I think it's burnout taking its toll. This won't mean posts will stop and stories are over - but this will mean that the pace of production will slow down as I readjust a few things and try to find the right spark. The calendar will be updated to match. At most, I'm going to limit content production to one 6k+ story a month, one to two 3k+, and Patreon ditties, which are always going to be a feature of the channel, no matter what happens.
Commissions will back up as a result, probably into February. You can ask for a refund here if it appears it'll be too long before I get to your project. Apologies in advance. It's been rough.
This year's Spooky Month is definitely going to be less of an event as a result. Don't fret. I'm Not abandoning October like that. There are a couple projects still in the works, but with recent events and a slowdown in tangible work, I'm going to be conservative and just publish what I'm sure can be done. Check out the following stories this month:

I want to start off by saying - we're on time! Ditties are getting finished by the end of the month again, and commissions are starting up at a reasonable clip. We're chugging along here in Charlieland, and I'm honestly happy to be back to a consistent production schedule.
Delays, though! Delays! Four commissions from the old list remain to be completed. I'll be getting to them in August. This means the schedule on Trello is going to have to be pushed back by a month, mostly, but I think I can manage it. Apologies for the setbacks, it's just workload and keeping up with the promises I made - not that I mind, to be honest.
You may have noticed the start of something big in the uploads. Remember Ascension of the Apathetic Rogue? That was a commission Yoshielder bought late last year, that I only had the fortune of completing in late May and Early June. It ended up being 28,000 words long (?!). Novella length (ace) TF shenanigans. After some proofing and a little prettying up, it's ready for publishing - on Furaffinity!
The first two chapters have already been posted. There are six chapters total. Every day this week, a new one will be uploaded. Follow the plot in real time, as a full party of dungeoneers and a sassy, godless heathen of a Rogue fight for their lives against a Transformation-happy Black Knight!
It's a pastiche of Terry Pratchett and D&D I feel very proud of, and I hope Yoshielder and you guys enjoy it as much as I do.
By the end of this week, July ditties will be uploaded, followed by two long-term commissions the following Monday:
-Raiment of the Archdemon, a Dragon Quest slob/corruption romance; and
-Monster Party, a Persona 5 D&D romp where Kawakami, Sae, Takemi and Usami turn into hypersexualized monster race heroines!
More updates will be coming after a work sabbatical with one of my polycule!

The title up there is accurate. Commissions are closed until the list is done. Thank you to everyone who submitted entries for the list! We have a lot of interesting concepts this time around. About half of y'all are new and half are repeat customers. Either way, I'm thankful for your business and hope to do you proud.
In flesh news - school is almost out! Some of you know this already, but my part-time job for most of this year and the previous was working in school. The last week of the semester is coming up, and after that, it'll be nothing but summer and writing work. It's bittersweet - a break from the commute and daily grind will help, certainly, but I'm going to miss the kids I work with. The pandemic has been rough on them, especially those who were already dealing with poor home lives. Here's hoping they make it, yeah?
Summer's also pulling me in a few directions too. I can't say how exactly, but there's something on the wind pulling me between multiple places and people, and even without school taking up my time, I worry I'm stretching myself out too much. Precarious! Or maybe just a lack of direction on my part.
Check next week for last month's ditties. I was delayed by this massive project I'm still putting the finishing touches on. If you're wondering how massive, I'm actually considering putting it on Amazon marketplace as my first novella. I know I know, deep breaths, but it's like - it's really got my attention. Getting a cover and everything for it. Once it goes live, I'll post a teaser here. Don't worry, this isn't the moment where I sell out, the novella will be affordable for anyone who regularly watches my content (~3-5 dollars max), but it's something to experiment with, see if there's like, a market for my weird hyperfixations???
Oh, and something I've floated for my patrons and might as well float here - starting July, how would you guys feel if I hosted a raffle for Patreon subscribers? Anyone already signed up with my channel would have a chance to win a 1.5-3k story slot for the end of the month. All patrons have an equal chance of getting it except Story Corps peeps - who get it anyway. Would y'all be interested in that sort of thing, or is that asking too much? I never know.

Howdy folks, it's been... a month!
It's my pleasure to announce that my schedule is free and I am open for commissions again! Absolutely fucking open. Life has stabilized well enough in Connecticut I can do this while meeting my prior obligations, and that alone is so invigorating.
The details this time are going to be a bit different, so read everything below before committing to your ideas.

Update #49 - Catch-Up Month

We have a place!!!! YEAAAAAHHHH! Y'all have no idea the amount of relief the roommate and I experienced once we finally got the keys, holy shit. The tedious situation has been resolved, and now we have a proper living space with furniture, food, running water and high speed internet, only the essentials of modern living. I'm not joking about that last part, it's vital.
Anyway, with housing insecurity solved, things will hopefully be going back to normal. The next few weeks look promising for that. There won't be a specialized theme this month, purely because Men March kind of contributed to burnout with the amount of content being produced, but don't worry too much. Delays are due to stocking up material for future releases. I'd be more candid (hopefully) if I decided to stop writing for whatever reason.
There are several commissions on my queue that have been ignored during the unstable months. These will be the first to be worked on:

Apologies to everyone who had to wait. It's difficult to follow through with planned content, especially with living disruptions. Thank you so much for your patience.
Once the queue finishes, ETA mid-May, I will take a small break to organize my plans for the next half-year. After that, I will open commissions.

A fresh start. This will be coming with price changes!!! Coming as well are a new price sheet and a weighted system for kinks. The last cycle was a shitshow in taking whatever could pay the bills, and that's not a good way to run the channel. I will clearly delineate which kinks I'm interested in for the year going forward. Those projects will be boosted and more readily accepted, though that doesn't mean I won't still take wildcard ideas or longer stories, though I will be more reticent to longer projects unless we've already worked together. Pico_cat, Tiggs, etc, y'all are fine.
One idea I might try out - how would y'all feel about sponsoring my TF fiction projects? Or sequels to individual concepts that never got a revisit, such as Rogue Space Rabbit? Let me know in the comments, it feels like a space to experiment with co-ownership.

Update #48 - My Kingdom for a Lease

Well, we're almost in a new place. The last couple of weeks, the roommate and I have been functioning out of a hotel room. The situation isn't serious, but it is tedious. We do have a lease set up. It's just taking a while to actually get into the building and have the realtor accept the deposit. The lag time has given me a chance to regroup and plan some stuff for you guys.
You know what March is for, right? March is for MEN.
Even women can be MEN. If you approach it right, anyway~
Yes, March in 2022 is devoted to FtM content. We have a good selection coming down the pipe for y'all. On the 1st (which is today!), the 15th and the 30th, new FtM content will drop in the feed. This circumvents my normal upload policy because this channel is built on FtM content and for this occasion, having a change in schedule will highlight how emphatically I feel about chicks growing dicks. Update #47 - Welcome to the New Year
Posted 4 years agoHowdy folks, it's been a minute! We have an actual update on our hands.
Thank you again to everyone who came to the rescue last update. Y'all were able to help me pay the bill for my roommate and I's room for the time being. We have a ways to go before his first paycheck - but we're out of the woods right now, and for a while, I can breathe easy. I can't thank you guys enough, except to admit how guilty it makes me feel to rely on you. I appreciate your support, as much as it worries me to be in debt to my audience. If you mean it, you mean it.
What does the next month look like? Well, it's slow. Last year was been pretty packed for me. I've been working from January to December, almost 10,000 words minimum per month. I've been feeling the burnout for a little while now. This isn't to say I'm quitting - just that January will be slow for releases while I take small breaks to get the inspiration back. It's likely that new stories won't be up until the end of the month. Not impossible, but I know my brain. When it says it doesn't have the juice to be productive, it won't be productive.
Which isn't to say I don't have ideas. There are OODLES of ideas. The flesh is willing, but the brain needs a break. With that said, the following stories have been confirmed to be in production this month.

I'm currently dealing with some ominous messaging from AirBnB. The company billed us (roommate and I) today after we extended our stay to February to cover the fragile period where he is earning his first paycheck and I'm covering the cost of living. I owe 1480 dollars and change. My net worth currently is 800 dollars of liquid currency. I was told it wouldn't be due until after the initial time had run out, so I am down 600 bare minimum and left in the dark with how much time we have to pay. AirBnB's messaging is insistent. At the same time, we still paid for our stay through January 11th. It's not obvious what to expect.
Suffice to say, I'm trying not to panic. It is difficult. Especially difficult after finding that neither of us have good enough credit to apply successfully for an apartment.
I hesitate to ask, but if you have already agreed to do a commission with me and haven't paid, please do so. I don't want some corrupt agency putting us at risk of losing a roof over our heads. If this is too much to ask of you, I understand.
Likewise - donations help. It's painful to put this out there, but even a little will help us through. If I have to put up a Gofundme to get through January, then things have already deteriorated past the point where I could have reasonably resolved this.

It's December, which means it's been Christmas for a month now, with no signs of stopping. The season has been getting on pretty hard for me, but I'm managing for now. The patreon knows what's happening, but I've yet to explain it here:
My roommate has run out of money. I am taking on the burden of primary wage-earner. This is fine, for the most part - but it means juggling writing and my part-time job as a school tutor at the same time. That hasn't been very fun. As if that wasn't enough, the terms of the unit we're staying in run out on January 13th. We have to find either an apartment or another AirBnB soon.
You'll be surprised to learn that I haven't gotten much good sleep lately. Eheheh. Eh...
Don't worry, we're not that stressed for cash. I just have a lot on my mind. Until the roommate lands a job, I'm carrying the weight for both of us. Something I'm happy to do, so long as I don't have to beg for cash.

Spooky month is over. While I'm glad to have gotten the sheer work done to make it a big event (83,000 words total, jesus christ), it's left me substantially drained. On top of the work done for the month, a new position at a local school has kept me busy as well, with a new daily schedule and new rigors. Mind, the days are only 4 hours long at the most, and only 17.5 hours a week, but it's still an extra stressors.
What's the takeaway from this? I'm taking a couple days of day off from commission writing. This will mean delays down the pipe. For the first week or two of November, this channel will be dark while these are sorted out.
Having said that, there's a couple of interesting things coming. In no particular order:

This post is going to be brief while I have it in my head. My roommate and I are getting stabilized in Hartford at the moment, so my writing schedule has been broken up with official needs and work. You can, however, expect certain things to be ready for SPOOKY MONTH.
The schedule for this Halloween's releases will go something like the following.

We have moved in!!! After a long drive without air conditioning, my roommate and I have settled into an apartment in Hartford, CT, for the next two months. We're aiming to stay much longer than that. Fans or friends local to the area, stop by and say hello, we appreciate the company.
While my roommate looks for a permanent job, I will continue my writing business here. With all the free time (and shoddy internet) at our pit stop, the commission queue was accelerated ahead of schedule. This means I can open up slots going to the end of the season.

I am revising my policy on how fast I post up drafts as finished copies, since I've noticed more errors than I like. Finished work will be published the week after the initial draft is complete. You may see a pause until this properly fits into my production chain. Draft docs are visible on the Patreon and my discord server.
REAL LIFE THINGS
Some of you already know - I'm moving at the end of August. Yay~ I will be moving upcountry to Connecticut with my roommate. This means the last week of that month and the first week of September, I will probably be too busy to work. Content will be made for those days, so no worries about missing anything.
