Update #15 - Not Again!
General | Posted 5 years agoWell, I'm afraid this is going to be a spot of bad news.
My car was hit while I was asleep this afternoon. It's nothing major - just a split in the rear bumper - but I'm going to have to file a claim for this. This is after I had wrecked a car earlier in the year and had to harangue my parent for help in buying a used Honda Fit. It's anxiety-inducing, to put it one way.
On the plus side, my roommate got their details and insurance number.
On the much more immediate side, I'm now facing a five hundred dollar deductible before I can get the split fixed.
In short - fuck me, I guess.

Update #14 - Interest Check
General | Posted 5 years agoAs I gather commissions and level them out on a calendar for easy decision-making, I want to ask y'all something.
There's this idea tumbling around in my head of a biweekly serialized story. Specifically, I want to do a long-form Star Wars fanfiction. This would follow the fate of a furry-friendly minority species who has to flee their home from the encroachment of fascism. It'd be a fairly serious exploration of political violence and generational suffering, within the genre of a naval warfare drama. Until this point, I was never sure if I had a venue to post something like this.
Would you guys like to see biweekly chapters between commission posts? Let me know in the comments what you think.

Update #13 - Couch Talk
General | Posted 5 years agoHowdy folks, it's been a minute!
I have touched down in Baton Rouge. At the moment, I'm staying with a friend in their apartment, using the couch until I work up the nerve to use the mattress. Car came through the road trip just fine, most of the boxes made it. Ego intact as well. Diet momentarily borked from travel food, but that's normal. Computer set up just fine too, which is a relief.
The keystone missing right now is income, which means commissions are open again! Private message me over the next week with concepts you'd like to see and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Between now and the 21st, I will be largely free to pursue new writing projects. The previous calendar is still valid, posted below:
The following are in the queue:
Commission Calendar - November-December wrote:-The Prince and the Dryad (Commissioned by Princess Cloudia; Gender-bending Fantasy TG) - COMPLETE
-Pizza O'Clock #3 - Rise of the Chunky Monkey (Commissioned by Firingwall; FtM Anthro TF)
-Illustrious Captain Keegan #34 - The Antares Affair (Commissioned by anonymous; trans-Lesbian sky pirate softcore)
I'll post next week with a lot more to say. Cheers!

Update #12 - I'm Sore (Mentally)
General | Posted 5 years agoHowdy folks, it's been a minute!
Well, more than a minute, really - more like two months. Most of the commission calendar has been completed!!! Except for a few outstanding loose ends, which I'll get to later, but for the most part, I'm proud of myself for getting all this work done. Thank you too for reading and reviewing my material, commission or otherwise. Your feedback helped me stay in the game.
There's a few new things to talk about. First: I'm moving again! This time, out of the parent house and back with a friend in Baton Rouge. It's set for November 28th. I realized living at my mom's place was too stressful. Despite having a job here, the number of disruptions and hand bites was too fractious to my nerves. It contributed to a relapsed case of depression.
Which is the second thing. Towards the end of last month, right as I was writing Callaway Carnival, I began to recognize symptoms of depressive behavior in my daily schedule, as well as a general dip in productivity and a pretty poor state of mind. Staying at the home seems to have brought on another dark pall on my emotional state. Frequently binging video games, losing interest in tabletop, losing time, sleeping in, staying away from the house as often as I could - it just wasn't healthy. In addition, I think setting hard week deadlines was asking too much of myself while working 35-40 hour weeks at Target at the same time. I'm recognizing the symptom now, but I think anyone who follows this profile has noticed an eerie quiet from my end, and for that, I apologize.
Things are getting better, though. I have three commissions in the pipe, due by the end of November. What's more - I'll have more time to devote to writing in general, so you may see more non-commissioned works!

I wish y'all the best of luck going into the winter. Corona is going to spread rapidly, so please, stay indoors as much as you can, wear a mask, and be conscientious of others.

Update #11 - Commission Calendar Update (for early Fall)
General | Posted 5 years agoHowdy folks, it's been a minute!
This is going to be a brief update until I have more to say - but due to demand, I am working on a side secret project that will take an additional week to accomplish. This means that the calendar will back up a bit, as dates change and more commissions are added on.
Miscellaneous note: this is the last chance to get a commission at current prices. Prices after the end of October will increase by 20 dollars base. This is to help sustain writing income!
Commission Calendar - September-October wrote:-Week ending on September 4th - SECRET PROJECT
-Week ending on September 11th - L-O-L XD (Commissioned by anonymous; Body Swap/Identity rewrite)
-Week ending on September 18th - Pizza O'Clock #3 - Gorilla Tactics (title pending) (Commissioned by Firingwall; anthro FtM)
-Week ending on September 25th - Bully Hydra (Commissioned by Nia; a lot)
-Week ending on October 2nd - Dreamtime Feet (Commissioned by Anonymous; FtM anthro with footplay)
-Week ending on October 9th - OCCINTEL presents... Paid Vacation! (Commissioned by Hazel; Feral Chimera TF)
-Week ending on October 16th - Date on the Timeless River (Commissioned by Numberonetricky; Kingdom Hearts Toon TF)
-Week ending on October 23rd - The Lion Prince and the Dryad (Commissioned by Princess Cloudia; Gender-bending Fantasy TG)
-Week ending on October 30th - Untitled Halloween Piece (Commissioned by Lonetiggs)

Update #10 - Quick Stretching before Feverish Workout
General | Posted 5 years agoHappy August! It's a little early for it, but I figured it's early enough to get down to business.
My place of living has changed - not to Baton Rouge, but back home in Atlanta. After talking it over with my potential roomie, we agreed that the car accident payment was coming too slow to really get a footing in town. It would've been best to head home, shelter during the pandemic, and try again once (or if) the pandemic slows in Winter. Going home meant going back to the parent. She's been kind, but distant, which I appreciate after parting on the terms that we did. I'm a peregrin now - all dues aside, I'm free as a bird.
The stay is probably going to last until November of December. What am I going to do during that time?
Commissions.
... a-and regular work, sure.
Last month was devoid of commissions, but I still managed to get a few works in. The first of the official month, The Suit Fits, passed 1,000 views and 10 freaking comments, including one in the last 24 hours that made my heart melt. My goodness, you guys. I'm so glad you liked that one. Built up on a whim, integrated with existing TF media, I tried my best to make the material shine (and struggled a bit at first). The second, BNA: Brand New Balls, is only a week old but 600 views in and going strong. The fan feedback has been invigorating, to say the least!
The month of August is going to be a return to high octane word spitting! Assuming I can keep up!!! My commission calendar has been opened again, and will remain open into September and October barring new circumstances.
Commission Calendar - August wrote:-Week ending on the 7th - Honey FLASH~! (art trade with Peculiar Bunny; Body Swap)
-Week ending on the 14th - Dweebish Double Feature (commissioned by Feri/Eleen; multiple TFs)
-Week ending on the 21st - We Are (commissioned by Anath; hivemind assimilation)
-Week ending on the 28th - My Boyfriend's Cursed Underwear (commissioned by Thunderboltgrimdark; FtM)
-Week ending on September 4th - L-O-L XD (Commissioned by anonymous; Body Swap/Identity rewrite)
-Week ending on September 11th - Pizza O'Clock #3 - Boarish Tendencies (Commissioned by Firingwall; anthro FtM)
-Week ending on September 18th - Bully Hydra (Commissioned by Nia; a lot)
-Week ending on September 25th - Dreamtime Feet (Commissioned by Anonymous; FtM anthro with footplay)
Foundation to Order has been put on indefinite hold (professional writing is hard). You may see it eventually, but it needs a lot more work.
If I missed anyone here, please let me know if we had a prior agreement!
We're in for a pound this month, guys. Let's see if I can do it all!

Update #9 - A Tee-Shirt That Reads 'Gomen-Nasai'
General | Posted 5 years agoHappy July! I hope this year has been okay, considering!
I have news on the residence front - I have agreed to co-lease an apartment in Baton Rouge with a friend! An ally, no less! We've agreed to split the rent while they stay in town, and if they decide to move, I'll go with them. Got enough money saved to weather the move and transition to better jobs. It will be tentative, and a lot can go wrong. Yet despite these fears, I'm confident I'll have a great time with my new roommate.
The move will come on July 25th. I'll be off-line for a few days.
On the subject of commissions... yyyyyeeaaah, I have a bit of explaining to do. June was a bit rough for me. After Pool Party was published, there was a scare around the house that someone had Covid. I had to call in sick for a few days, and during that time, I felt mild flu symptoms, which is never a good sign. Thankfully, the threat was null, and I returned to work, but that disruption wasn't good for keeping a consistent schedule. Interest for Trading Roles fell off. Pizza O'Clock #3 fell off as well after a car accident not too long ago. Money hadn't exchanged hands by that point, but I still feel awful for not getting down to work more.
Still! Positive things! Reception for the two Constellation pieces was stellar (hee), and the last few indulgence fics have really helped to sharpen those writing skills. The last two (Harem and Yakumo, Y) were very fun to write, though I'll freely admit they were off-the-cuff. Interactions on FA have been delightful. Thank you for the comments!
Currently, there are no commissions scheduled for July. This may change over the month, but with the move coming up, I likely won't have the time to focus on that while working.
So, this month may be a bit barren! I hope to get at least one thing done!
But that's for future me to worry about. For now, things look okay, in spite of the world melting down. Tell me in the comments how things have been going for you so far this year, in spite of the pandemic!

Update #8 - Dynamic Drifting
General | Posted 5 years agoHowdy, it's been a minute!
The landscape has changed drastically since the start of this month. Viral fears have partially given way to outrage over George Floyd's death, and riots across the United States. The big ones in Minneapolis and Washington are far from me, but the fear is still out there. Police repression, as well as misinformation. My only contribution to the topic is that this is a dangerous time for everyone. I wish you all the best of luck. Stand where you can, donate to those who need it. Your life matters as much as Black Lives Matter.
Now, more personal business. Life has stabilized enough that I am moving on from the host family. This means I will be searching for a room to rent. The due date is July 9th. My Patreon and commission money are still meager revenues, and my delivery job can only cover so much until the school year opens up again. Nevertheless, I'm in good spirits. This has been the best I've felt in months. The leap looks jumpable. Let's see.
The commission schedule got really badly screwed up by a decision to write a double feature (Curse/Beer Gut), more than 40 pages of material. I was inspired, but that was havoc for people expecting a commission done, and I do apologize. Unfortunately, due to the move, the next calendar will be more tentative, so the dates ahead are going to be as predictable as they usually are:
Commission Calendar wrote:-Week of the 1st - Pokeparty (commissioned by PKMN Trainer Jim)
-Week of the 8th - Trading Roles (commissioned by Peculiar Bunny)
-Week of the 22nd - Pizza O'Clock #3 (commissioned by Firingwall)
-SOMEWHERE in this timeframe - progress on Foundations to Order
If I missed anyone here, please let me know if we had a prior agreement.
Cheers. Be safe out there.

Update #7 - Feedback Surge
General | Posted 5 years agoHowdy, it's been a minute!
I wanted to open this post relevant to Corona. Lately, I've been hearing stories of close friends and customers dealing with the fallout of the virus. Not necessarily getting sick - but the disruptions and stress that come with quarantine. My host family isn't doing much better. I'm thankful to still have a job that gets me out of the house, a family to talk to - but many users here don't have that luxury. To everyone out there suffering through this calamity, you are not alone. We know. We know it's an unstable time. We know that the future is uncertain. Rent may not hold through. Your health, your livelihood, your life, these may all be in jeopardy. Writing stories isn't the same thing as giving emotional comfort, but it's coloring how I write these days.
I want the people who read my material to know that they are not alone. Your suffering is different from everyone else's and shouldn't be minimized. I hope you come through to the other side.
On lighter topics - writing has been up and down. The last few commissions have been amazing. Shoutouts to Lone Tiggs for the immaculate Mousy Behavior prompt; anonymous for the chance to flex my comedy muscles in Moshi Moshi; dragontaur for the challenge in treading the line between indulgence and meticulous planning in Disney Wishes (that fucker is 32 pages long, holy crap, my best project yet); and finally Firingwall for another chance to do pizza justice! Aside from the general praise - the breadth of styles on display here were good for sharpening my style. What's more - I learned more skills from proofreading with my clients, which is invaluable for getting into professional writing.
Which leads me to goal #1 for this month - professional writing. By the end of May, I want to write novel-quality Star Wars material and post it somewhere. Ideally a chapter (15-30 pages), and possibly here if there's interest. Lofty hopes beg me to try doing an audiobook, but that's a dream. I will keep y'all posted if I get that far.
Goal #2 is more commissions! I still have a list of commissions to work on. The following projects are going to be done by the end of May. Actual publishing dates are going to be estimates this time.
Commission Calendar wrote:-Week of the 4th - Witness Protection (Wolf Among Us) (commissioned by Anonymous)
-Week of the 11th - Gachabun (commissioned by Munio)
-Week of the 18th - Pokeparty (commissioned by PKMN Trainer Jim)
-Somewhere in this timeframe - Star Wars: Foundations to Order
If I missed anyone here, please let me know if we had a prior agreement.
Cheers. Keep going.
In even more recent news, I have a Patreon! If you like my work and want to see more of it, this is a great place to sponsor me.

Update #6 - Writing's in My Blood, I mean... My Goo
General | Posted 5 years agoHowdy, it's been a minute!
First, an update on life and health - substitute teaching for the school district fell through for now. If you live in the United States, you know how things are progressing with Coronavirus. Most school districts preemptively closed to prevent the spread of the disease. This unfortunately meant I couldn't get work that way. Fortune favored the forgetful, though, and I managed to snag a job as a delivery driver as a backup without realizing I had applied all the way back in late February. Through tips and paychecks, I will thrive!
My health has been pretty good. Will be consciously avoiding pizzas for dinner and staying active. With my host family on quarantine and the city police on scramble, I should be able to avoid COVID-19. Now, if I could just avoid the flu...
Now, second, the meat. Thank you much for the views, folks. We hit 1,000 page views on the 20th or so. Since META 2, the highest view count's gone to Ankh Handling, followed by Corrupted Waters and Peachy Keen. Favorites across the board. It's really hard to understate how much it means to see this much success over 18 days, it's remarkable. I wanna thank my commissioners for putting faith in me, and also really, giving me such freaking kinky ideas I couldn't help but write them.
Speaking of writing: I will still be doing that. Writing is in my blood, I mean... my goo. While deliveries will be taking up to 25 hours of my weeks, I will try to maneuver into a good position to keep writing commissions and vanity work. To that end, and to make transparent my priorities over the next month, here is a list of the work coming up:
Commission Calendar wrote:-Week of the 23rd - Mousy Behavior (commissioned by: Lone Tiggs)

-Week of April 13th - Dissertation on the Fine Pizza Arts (commissioned by: Firingwall)
-Pretty much any time that's responsible - Triple Productivity (vanity piece)
After this next batch of commissions, I will be changing the pricing scheme. Base price is going up from 10 to 20 dollars. I'm also thinking of an alternate rate per the word, but I'm worried that'll turn me into Hugo or Dickens.
As always, feedback is cherished, and I hope to hear more from the vaunted public!

Update #5 - Good News, Everyone!
General | Posted 6 years agoHowdy, it's been a minute!
I have good news on the job front. After a slow start and a lot of haranguing, I have effectively gotten into employee orientation for the local school district. Yay for persistence. As of now, I am an associate teacher (which is an industry term for a middle/high school sub). This doesn't mean the job hunt is over - there's no work over the summer - but I'm very close to getting sustainable income.
On the commission side of things, confidence has surged. All the free work paid off, lol. After putting in fics and requests for the Defem server, more and more commissioners have hit my PMs, asking for stories. Smokey Delights and METAINFECTION 2 did remarkably well. Thank you guys so much for the support. Really, it means a lot to see positive feedback for what I thought was beyond me months ago. Three stories are in the pipeline right now, with more on the way. Commissioners, you know who you are, and your patronage is welcome.
If my health holds, I can do this consistently. The whole, being a prolific author and making people happy thing.
Which would be ideal.
Writing has been a fun outlet the last month. It's kept me working at a comfortable pace, stopping the slippage of time and job hunting despair from peeling me off the ledge. There was a metaphor here, somewhere. Point is, being able to write, to interpolate ideas into stories with serious and cheeky characters, to reflect on my own struggles in the lens of canon and OC characters, has been a rock in an otherwise tumultuous sea. Y'all, porn's helping me out.
Back to business: the current commission list is a secret, though if I'm able to keep up the pace, I can maybe start developing a patreon. Would you guys like to see that?

Update #4 - Here I go (the first time) On My Own
General | Posted 6 years agoHowdy folks, it's been a minute. Updates fell through, so I figure I should elaborate on why.
There is a long story here, but I'm going to keep it simple: I lived in an abusive household. Past tense emphasis. I took the initiative to move out on the 23rd of January, with the help of a generous host family in Texas. The ride was stressful, sometimes terrifying, and sometimes freaking awesome, as I got to see the better parts of the Gulf Coast, Florida and Louisiana along the way. I landed in Houston on the 28th. Since then, I've been readjusting.
As of now, I am unemployed. My living situation is dependent on my host family.
And to be honest? I've never been better.
Now, it's not a guaranteed thing that I'll be able to post regularly. However, with one less toxic element in my life and really only applications and host family stuff taking up my time, I will probably be posting more stories. Some lewd, some not. Already, I worked up the nerve to write another Kingdom Hearts story (DDD), and that is up. Give it a read, give me a watch, and let's see what happens.
If you're keen on supporting my work, I have a paypal setup to receive donations, as well as a ko-fi. There's no special features or rewards to financially supporting me, but it is greatly appreciated. Every dollar helps.

Update #3 - The School Year Approacheth
General | Posted 6 years agoHowdy y'all,
August has hit! And in a week or two, I'll be firmly back at my job as a substitute teacher. It's a very exciting time! I get to go back to my old flame!!!
What's more? I've got work in the pipeline. A commission is in the works with a special buyer, centering around Disney princesses. Look forward to that later in the month! I may also post my RPG work in the near future!
Look forward to meeting the update deadline next time!

Update #2 - We're Trying
General | Posted 6 years agoHowdy there. This is Ebikiyo, checking in a week after the deadline. I'm ready to be a little more open about myself, in the hopes that will spur me to write more than just every month or two.
Let's start with my job. Currently, I have a masters in Secondary Education: Social Studies. Fought tooth and nail for it. Essentially, that degree gave me the training to teach a variety of subjects in middle and high school, mostly based on politics and history. However, because I didn't pursue a long practicum - a training period for upcoming teachers - I seem to not be a prime candidate to get my own classroom. My interviews haven't been... happening at all.
Last year, I had a falling out with my part-time job at Panera, in the middle of the job hunt. [REDACTED] happened, I came into a lot of debt, and I had to find a new job to pay rent and the bills. That job ended up being at Pappasitos Cantina.
This particular little 3-star wannabe Texmex is a high volume restaurant, with high turnover, as I soon discovered. I wasn't hired on to do something like bus, or wait, or cook, which is what I actually wanted to try. Nope, prep was my new home. First salad prep, then dessert prep...
And now cold sauce. This is where I will be until August, when I can go back to substitute teaching.
I don't want to sound too dramatic, but Pappasitos can eat a dick for the amount of confusion and frustration they put me through. Cold sauce is a physically exhausting position. Start at 6:45am (5-10 minutes earlier or later, depending on manager), start making tortilla dough, get a bar of shrimp (yes, a bar of frozen shrimp), peel that, get back to work. On Fridays and Mondays, my regular days, it's 150 lbs in the morning, in 50 lb loads. Simple enough, monotonous, but it's over after 3 hours of mixing, moving, separating and balling the dough into little mounds to toss into the hot press. From there, you move on to do the bar mixes, margarita blends and syrups, then sauces that go on the cook line, and on a day with a large prep list, you get out at about 3-3:30pm.
Saturdays and Sundays, though? Double the dough. And if you don't get it done by open at 11 - drop it. Forget lunch break. Bar needs mixes now. Crab cake needs to be done asap. Clean the mixer because dessert needs it to make butter (fucking butter). Come make hot tortillas. Hey, why are you behind? You can do it! Stop wasting my money and get out on time!
... I'm a bit bitter, yes, why do you ask?
This has been roughly my bad days since May. My rate is, and will continue to be, 11/hr to do 12 hour days. This cannot continue.
Now, to be clear - I'm not about to blame work for my upload schedule. That part is habitual. But regardless, work has been one of my chronic stressors for a while now. It helps to explain why sometimes I feel intense anxiety despite working basically part-time.
This is about as much as I want to share. Maybe another time.
Until then - I hope whoever's reading this has a good day, and works in a happy place with decent co-workers.

Update #1 - Striving to be More Consistent
General | Posted 6 years agoHeyyo! This is the first journal entry I've put on this profile thus far! It only took me... roughly 11 years to do, I think. Either way - this is going to be a brief journal, mostly to test the waters.
With Powerwild Vibes out in print just last night, I have a growing urge to be more consistent with this profile. Using it less for lurking and more for active engagement while my mood is there. So, I'm going to try to make a promise with myself. At least one journal every two weeks at minimum, as well as one story every two weeks. Sound fair, me?
Hope so, you're hard to please.
For those of you watching and/or favoriting, thank you for the support thus far! I'm being obnoxiously cordial because I don't know how community engagement works so??? You probably won't see personal details for a little while until I'm comfortable sharing them.
With that - y'all have a good one!
