I'm afraid that I am currently taking a very long time with my commissioned work. That's due to some extent of frustration over not being able to draw as good as I could. All my current art is good, but not as good as it could be. This started with one picture and has spread over to the others.

Considering my artist profile
Posted 13 years agoIt has come to my attention, that a few people have been taking my profle layout as guideline to creating their own profiles. This is absolutely fine with me.
HOWEVER, I also know of a profile which is an exact mirror of mine, which I do have a problem with.
As simple as the layout might look, I spent a lot of time and creativity on it. As an artist, I consider it my duty to come up with something new, something different from what is known to me, which will pose as my presentation to the rest of the community. Possibly someone else has a very similiar layout to mine, that even is highly plausible, but then that person as thought of it with their own brain.
In this case however, I was even TOLD that my layout would pose as "guideline" for that persons artist profile. I gave my ok, thinking it would just be the arrangement of data. When I checked later on, even the very top, which is outside the codeable area, was still present.
Tonight my toleration for that had come to an end due to various issues.
[01:50:37] Echoes Above: I hereby kindly ask you to think of a different layout for your FurAffinity profile. A lot of time and creativity was spent on it and I do not want any other people to simply take it as granted.

Good and bad news

GOOD:
As you can notice, I have a stable internet connection now. A nice room comes with it. I'm getting the hang of university and am also able to find time every other week to draw some pictures. All in all you can expect your pictures to be done during the next two months.
BAD:
I have a new laptop, which for some odd reason refuses to run the Photoshop copy from my old one. This leaves me with limited possibilities to draw. I have yet to test if my other art programs I used to work with are compatible with this one. Due to this I'll propably need even longer to finish the pictures.
I have thought about just redownloading the Photoshop Trial, however the CS4 Version seems no longer avaible, as they have CS5 and CS6 already. For personal reasons I'd like to stick with CS4 though. If any of you find that version somewhere (preferably cracked) please note me.
My university dorm has it's internet run by a security company, meaning I am unable to use uTorrent. So don't link me torrents. I will not be able to open them.

Posted 13 years agoThe 100 theme challenge is a good way for me to improve my drawing, as well as posing an option for you to in fact grab a request. If you see a Theme you'd like for your character, comment here. I will look at your character and then decide whether or not you get the spot. The theme will then get a [name] tag. I draw these randomly, with no order at all. It might be one week till you get your picture, it might be a few months, it might be a year.
