So, I've recently started charging for my building talents as a service in minecraft! Why? Because why not! It's a bit of extra money to me, and I get to build beautiful, functional things!

Now, I only charge for super large things (such as the WIP. That is my last free build of this size, and this spawn truly will be unique.)
My first paid build has already been accepted, and it's for another server that's obviously under construction!

So, as title says, last week I bought a new computer. Didn't make one, just bought a ready built computer. Specs are:
Processor - AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz (overclockable up to 4.1GHz) with 8mb cache
Processor Core - 6 core
Memory - 8 GB DDR3-1600, ugpradable to 16 GB
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB (No more integrated video for this shark! :D)
Hard Drive - 1TB Western Digital 7200 RPM
I plan on also adding a SSD at some point.

Anyways, yes, this might mean I start doing some gaming on Steam, so I'll post up what games I have and things!
Also, I'm back safe and sound from my worktrip out to Woodward (was out there Monday through Thursday, worked 55 hours this past week. A lot of my time was spent 60ft above the ground walking on 2x12s and installing fire sprinkler pipe and systems.)

Last day of school today, tomorrow is graduation!
I am absolutely psyched to finally be graduating, especially with a job in a very good career field!

So these last few months have been pretty hectic for myself, but mostly a good hectic, if that makes sense. I mean, I am graduating my pipefitting course next Friday, my brother and sister both graduated high school, my cousin got her degree, I have a start to my career now also, with a very good company. I am absolutely loving my career field so far, but I also am feeling kinda "holy shit, I've done a 180 in my life, am going somewhere successful,but am also kinda lost in myself." Which I know doesn't make sense.

It's kinda like I have been wanting this for a long time, and now that I have it, I don't know what to do. Sorta like a dog that chases cars. If it ever caught one, what would it do with it? I mean, I know I have job security. One of the things I don't have to worry about is a job. Even if I'm not kept after my 90 trial period, there are a LOT of places hiring pipefitters. And some of those places start at $22+ an hour. So it isn't even remotely a worry with me.

Maybe it's just I'm kinda unsure what to set as my next goal. Buy my own house? Take a vacation to Europe or wherever? I don't know. I know I'll want my own house, I want one now, but don't have the means to buy it. And if for whatever reason this company doesn't keep me, I may be on the road a LOT. Which means I don't want to get involved in a contract at the moment.

I also, save for the lean on my car by my parents (which isn't an issue. It will get paid entirely in a couple months) am debt free. I paid off my loan for school 2 weeks ago, which for the amount of time I took to pay it off, is impressive. I literally paid off a $14,000 loan in about 6 months. Granted, I had most of that saved up.

Now, I understand that a house is a good next goal, but I kinda want to stay debt free. No payments to worry about (save for bills). But I still want to do it. As it sits, In no more than 4 years, I'll be bringing home over $1,000 a week. This is starting to get into moderately lavish living wages, as I live in Oklahoma. That does not include bonuses, which can get pretty big.

I don't know. Maybe you all have some insight here. I'm not living in an apartment. I can very easily get a house. Even if I did rent, it would be a house. A very nice house (nice part of town, 1000-2000sf, garage, etc.) runs about $800-$1000 a month. Apartments are just slightly less. No point in me getting an apartment.

Oh well. Feels nice to at least write it in a journal. Sorry if I rambled a bit.

So! As title says, bit about me, and why I've been so quiet!

First order of business. I have a grand total of 4 tests left in my trade school course for Pipefitting. I graduate June 12th. I am absolutely STOKED for this! I have enjoyed these past 6 months more than I have enjoyed any college classes! I've discovered my interest in the weather is definitely there, however, it's more of a hobby, than I would have enjoyed it as a career.

I've also discovered that working with my hands is definitely what I want to do for my life. I have absolutely enjoyed every moment of my trade schooling, and of my new job so far. I've been to quite a few jobsites already, some of which are HUGE money makers for my company, which leads to better bonuses (bonus check is tied directly to the company's profits yearly. and is split evenly amongst all employees. This means that I'm looking at a very possible 5 figure bonus check)

Furcons! So, I am seriously looking at fur-cons again, however, it's a bit of a strange predicament with myself. I want to go to furry cons again, however, I want to go with my mate. But at the same time, it's difficult, seeing as he's over in California. But, that does not mean I won't go to things such as CPFM (which is coming up by the way, and if you're near Kansas, it's worth going to! You can meet this shark!) Though, I'll likely just stay a night or two, as I did last year.

Now, as you can imagine, with all of this going on, I've had very little time to devote to social deals, alongside this, I've been on a shortage of "fun" money. I am >NOT< asking for money. I budgeted all of my expenses, and have enough to cover my last school payment, and my car repair (driver's side door handle came off), and still have enough for food and whatnot. However, now that I'm finally coming out of school, and going to be going full-time (with the option to do 8+ hours of overtime a week, this is pretty sweet deal for me!)

Anyways, I've gotten some new watchers, so thank you for giving me a watch! I do promise there is artwork on the way! How have y'all been?
