Just a quick journal to let you all know what with the recent batch of commissions being completed, I've decided to close for a little while for personal reasons.
(Nothing serious but there's a new Yakuza game coming out next week and I want to give it all of my attention, mwahaha).

My mother had an epileptic seizure this afternoon while I was at work.

Thankfully my brother was on hand to put her into the recovery position before it became too dangerous.

Things are grim here. My home situation is bad and essentially I need to be gathering up as much resources as I can.

I want to open up for some writing commissions but work has me in almost every day this month so I know that just isn't possible.

Anything donated is appreciated beyond words.

This is going to be a hard journal for me to write.

About a year ago my mother and a man I considered to be my father for the best part of my younger years well into adulthood fell apart. It was a violent, messy separation that ended outrageously with my own mother being arrested after suffering months and months of severe mental distress in which she finally could take no more after being provoked and attacked him.
The piece of garbage wept as he spoke to officers, claiming HE was the one that had been abused and because my mother was the aggressor, the police had to arrest her, in front of myself and my brother.

Since that day we have had zero contact with him, only insisting that he focus on his relationship with his daughter (my half-sister).

Today we received a letter of divorce citing "behaviour" as the main factor behind this pathetic attempt to further cause us misery.
It also says he will be after 50% of whatever he can get out of my mother - despite owning another house himself and working in a well-paid job.

I do not know what to do.

I feel like crying.

First of all, a huge... HUGE thanks to those that commissioned me over the past month. I made it my goal to get their pieces finished for them and with a few days to spare, I achieved my goal!

Secondly, I need a break!

I don't want to have to look at Word for a while so you'll have to forgive me. I plan to do nothing but relax and tackle the (Figurative!) mountain of video games that I swore I wouldn't touch until I got my work done.

I'll post another journal informing when I'm open again!

Having decided to listen to a good friend of mine - and then getting a second opinion on twitter! - I've decided to dip my toe into opening up for writing commissions!

God help me.

I have access to the internet again.

I'm being blamed for fixing it though.

The unstable cunt I mentioned in a prior journal activated parental controls on our internet service a few days ago.

I can do exactly jack shit about this until the account is transferred into my name - something I wanted to do months ago because I knew something like this would happen, though I was assured it would be fine.

Using the Wi-Fi at work to make this journal.

It absolutely kills me that I can't speak to any of my close personal friends at the moment.

Will try and get this fixed soon.

I don't know.

Here is what's going on.

Last night my Step-Father had my Mother arrested for assault.

They are currently going through a separation period.

She needed to discuss mortgage payments with him.

He tore up the letter in front of her and began laughing like a maniac.

He then started to go for my brother who was in the room at the time.

My Mother put herself in-between them and dragged him out of the way.

He drags my Mother by the arm, hurting her. She bites him and the palm of his hand strikes her bottom lip, swelling it.

He then phones the police and begins crying and weeping, begging for help, screaming for help because we were threatening him.

My brother takes my sister out of the house.

The police arrive and take my Mother away.

Fifteen hours later she is released.

He has cancelled our internet service so I have 30 days of access left.

I am not willing to go into too much detail, but due to a series of increasingly worrying situations currently affecting my life, all projects - writing or otherwise - from myself are as of today on indefinite hiatus.

I'm going to be starting one fairly shortly!

I've been persuaded to give my writing skills a bit of a test by a good friend of mine and the more I thought about it, the more I thought I could actually do it!

It'll be an interactive text adventure of sorts! Each "chapter" will be concluded with a choice of up to four options for the players to pick between! I will run an online poll to determine which choice is chosen and then take it away from there!

The introduction chapter will be posted hopefully within a week of this journal and will include four main characters to choose from. I haven't yet decided on who those characters will be, but I do know the fourth slot will be reserved for an "insert" character. Essentially what this means is that if someone out there would like to insert one of their characters into the lead role, they will be able to donate a very small amount (likely between $5-$10) in order to become the main character.
If this option is selected, I will discuss with that person in private about the details of the story, should any... fetishes need to be avoided for their character's sake.

I think that's about it! I'm really looking forward to this journey!
