Posted 5 years ago---- I'm sick of Reminders.
About 10 of them a day, I see in my feed. I understand people want to push business, but it's getting to the point of being Spam. Yes, a base YCH is quite pretty, but seeing the same one, every day, for a week or more, quickly becomes far more annoying.
I've unfollowed a person or two, and may have to do more- but honestly, it should be against FA rules, to spam the same image day after day, as a "reminder" of any sale. This isn't Twitter, this is an art site gosh darn it, I'm tired of seeing the same images spammed.

In the past, it felt like there were quality artists, who created NSFW content in great supply, but also just created cool pinups, and anthro characters. Maybe it's just who I follow, but this site feels more & more just NSFW content. There are still others who create non-nsfw content, but, it feels like the quality overall is not what it once was...

You know what I see? The dead, looking down on us, crying. When they died they were greeted by God himself. His knowledge became theirs, and they saw the truth. They saw what is to come, what is just around the corner, the end of all of this muck, all of this sin. The world is going to bleed out, and once its run dry, it will crack & flake into dust, lost forever. This is why they cry, because God told them the truth, that we are all lost.
I ask you now, what is it you see, standing there in-front of thee. A man, A woman, a child without any hope, or a computer screen with a mans ramblings about all of those? Do you see all of the foul things that I see? Sinners rejoice, as a father cry, a daughters life was changed that night. A mother weeps as a cold shadow comforts, its words of honor hold little valor. A man laughs in the dark, blood on his hands, even if there is none in his heart. A sinful world we do live in, where in rape, war, and murder are abundant. If I go outside, and look up, I see them crying for us. Even though our world if flawed, life is precious, short, and given by God.
When I find myself lost, in my thoughts, or in my lust. I hope for only one thing, that I can live till tomorrow, so that I can see things. Things that are not covered in the hail storm of tears, things covered in life giving light, or things lost in the shadow of a cold frightful night. Things worth seeing, even if they hurt, things worth fearing even if their not. Reactions emotions, our day to day lives, short and fleeting, but oh so alive. I shall cry, every day, even if liquid is not shed a tear I will bleed. From my eyes or from my mind I will never forget, the people of this earth deserve every second of life.
Even when we hate, for no apparent reason. Even as we ponder ever cleverer ways to end things. I hope that we shall not break the final barrier, I hope that for once we prove the dead wrong. That God told them one little lie, so that we as his children might look up and scurry. That we might work to change our ways, fix the Earth, and find peace.
May God, or any deity you chose, guide you to the path that you chose. Chose one with fun & joy, and things that you enjoy, but remember the greater play of things. This is one life to be spent, on whatever you chose, and others have just as much right as do you. Whilst you run & play, remember that the Earth, and its creatures have as much right to exist as do you.

Posted 15 years agoI just watched the time Travelers wife, a movie which the original previews made look horrible, but later ones make look palpable. I just watched it, & neither did the movie any justice.
The movie had a few good plot twists & if watched without seeing any trailers first, it would have been nearly mind blowing I think. As is now, its great. I will in all likely hood try to find & buy this movie (On Blue-Ray) to add to my rather action oriented collection, it will sit with the other odd movies. Such as the amazing great, & uplifting, if not sad Darjeeling limited.
One of the reasons I am finding a like for these types movies more and more lately, is because of a large flaw with otherwise brilliant new movies. It's pacing, I feel a good movie has its ups and downs in pacing, where so many now are just one big ol' rush. Maybe more movies will find good pacing, I actually felt that Alice in Wonderland had relatively good pacing, even though it was a faster movie, it all still worked well.

Strange things
Posted 15 years agoThats what I keep seeing, I lay down, I see something strange next to me. I fear it might be behind my bed, couch, door. Standing there, watching me.... I don't remember turning that light off... but I must.. I am home alone, doors are locked, only two rooms, checked them when I came home.... so Why am I so spooked... Demons... Angles... Strange things from the nether..... I don't know... I think I might need help, or for the A/C to start working, I hate it when its over 65F.

Posted 15 years agoIf you haven't seen this movie yet.. you must. You might think that the commercials would have given away quite a bit, but I found an amazing amount was not.
This movie is by far the best movie since District 9, & in my opinion better, much better, the environments where LITERALLY breath taking, & the story was capable of conveying amazing emotion.
In conclusion, if you haven't seen this movie, next chance you get to do anything in your free time, go see this.

My ideal Worgen Female
Posted 16 years agoI personally want a beautiful female Worgen, but for the love of god, to have the soul of a killer. For her face to look cute, but in an instant be able to portray a mass murder sopped in blood, with the remains of her victim strung over her in a.. *cough* you get my point. A gruesome, beauty, with the body of a Fox goddess, and the soul of a Greek Goddess. (& not one of tho lovey dovey goddesses either)
Also they could make this distinction not only through facial expression (which blizz is lacking in) but they could do it in suddenly differences in the way she moves. Instead of being a mindless piece of art, she could move in a almost sculling way, as if she isn't sure if she wants to pass you by, or rip you limb from limb and watch as your stubby body rolls around, screaming in pain!
That's my dream Wogen there, beautiful but insanely sadistic, portrayed through her actions, and he fur. Her blood soaked fur.

Posted 16 years agoSo I just found out about the new expansion after taking a look at olibiths page, and seeing his new Desktop, and wondering where hte BG came from. Well wouldn't you know.. YOU CAN PLAY AS WEREWOLVES NOW!
I said if ever blizzard put werewolves in as a playable creature, I would start playing again... and dear god, Shall I ever start playing again once it comes out! *crys* I can't wait.. *crys* Werewovles o.o So... happy *crys*.... So very happy *crys*...
So anyway, I expect all of you anthromorphs out there to be playing in a new coat of fur the second it comes out!

Don't read this journal! Its going to be pointless complaining, and allot about me returning to school & their failures!.

Started up Collage again after my 3 month leave of absence, was... horrible. First day I was in the wrong class, even though I had spent one and ein half hours trying to sort it out that morning. Today after mein Vater called them, they somehow woke up and changed it to the correct one, meaning all of yesterday was a complete bloody waist. But anyhow, I now picked up more books from the campus book depo (covered in intuition) and insured my alarms where re-adjusted to get me to my new classes on time.
Also... I have missed the first day of one of my classes (one that I should have gone to yesterday), won't count against me, but still a annoyance to be behind.

Posted 16 years agoEverything is good now, Macs back, Mac works. In truth it was some sort of boot error, easily fixed, but since its a mac, I had no idea how.

Posted 16 years agoToday, I got up, tried to get to my MacBook Pro, and it decided to fall 1 foot, and stop working again. Its in the Apple store, from what I could tell from my large experience of broken MacBooks, its another hard drive failure.
I do feel the drive was already partially bad though, because a day ago when I tried to partition it the disk Verification failed.

Posted 16 years agoAllot of stuff from the book was cut out, and when I say allot, I mean around 1/4. The entire thing about watching Malfoy on the map was reduced to one, maybe two scenes. Overall though, the movie was very good, but for me, too short, but that is what I think of almost any movie I watch.

Posted 16 years agoI created an animation today in Photoshop, but am un-able to export it to a swf, and for the life of me, I can't get the imported .mov of .mp4 in Flash to export as a swf that will upload here. If anyone could help, or send me a direct convention program for mac, that would be brilliant.

Posted 16 years agoSo here I sit, actually happy. Today I awakened to an amazing sight, a sight which caused me to lunge forward and hug what I saw. (No it wasn't a beautiful woman, that would have been great, but it wasn't :( ) It was a FedEx box, containing my computer's replacement. So I sit here now, with all of my information transferred from my 500g backup, typing to my FA journal, oh what a great thing this is to be mobile again, no longer stuck in a mess of cords tied around a chair.

Posted 16 years agoI'm sick with... something, head hurts, eyes hurt, neck hurts, everything is ackey. Its horrible really. The worst thing though, is that I'm so out of it that I cannot properly sketch even, and can't even really function well enough to build anything in hammer.

Posted 16 years agoThis is a public service announcement, if you use a mac & love it 100 times more than a PC, or at least he mac OS more than a Windows. You are hereby declared a devil worshiper, and should burn your computer.
Warning the following is pointless bitching & moaning about my fail mac.
This is my way of saying I'm fucking pissed.
I am typing this on my mom's new laptop which I haven't let her use for more than 30 minutes over the last week. Ill explain why.
-flashback-
At the beginning of my current leave of absence from Full Sail university, MacBook Pro's hard drive decided to die. This depressed me & left me with nothing to do for 3 days besides watch TV, I would have done some sculpy work, but I was too depressed to do that even. After I got it back, I had to re-install all ot of stuff, coudn't run maya because the Product Key had been misplaced, I was luckily able to run Photoshop & have some good fun there. I also installed a beta of Windows 7. This let me finally play L4D, which is one of my favorite games of all time now, and allowed me to work in Hammer, to create maps, and ships(aka, a giant map like the inside of a space ship). It was great, until.....
-Flash Forward A While-
6-7 Days ago.. something horrible happened, my computer fell a measly 1.5 feet. I got up, and looked at it, still worked, was able to do everything, then I decided I would switch over to PC mode and do some more work in Hammer (remember, duel boot). The computer shut down, but instead of instantly starting back up, it remained dark. I pushed the power button, and it started up, or at least it tried to, almost instantly it shut down again, the screen didn't even light up, just a few sounds inside, a beep, and that was it.
I tried it a few more time, but no luck, left it alone for 30 minute,s tried again, and still nothing. I went berserk, cutting up trees, driving violently around my parents property. Messing up some of my dad's beloved grass (& yes, just plain fucking Florida grass). Shot off to my sisters house, and saw a shrink in the same day with her. This helped cool me down, and 2 days later i was able to get my Mac to a genius bar, where they shipped it off under warranty to replace the Logic Board (aka mother board >.>).

So today I am gong about my business, having used my mothers computer for the last week or so to work in Hammer some more, and suddenly a knock at the door, could it be!
I go to the door, hoping only slightly that they fixed it so fast, but they had! I was overjoyed, I took the box into the other room, opening it carefully, placed it on a foot rest (large one) and turned it on. My hard drive still had all of its information, and I was still able to duel boot, happy days!
I started a torrent feeling so good, I felt like learning German (that tells you what kind of torrent partially).
I shot out to Best Buy, bouight some music (because if your hardrive gets whiped, and you had actually bought somethin goff of itunes, its gone forever). Got home, started the music, and paused the torrent, i was going to log on steam in PC mode and tell this brilliant news to my friend.
Upon entering windows, i noticed the sound was muted. I thought this could be an error caused by the new Logic Board, something to do with lost drivers maybe. Upon clicking the sound button a message poped up. It was a diagnostic program, it was now searching for a way to cure the problem, in the mean time i figured i would restart steam. As i entered my password, and pushed enter, the screen went to black. I thought possibly it was restarting due to the repair utility. After a few second it was clear it wasn't going to do anything so i pushed the power button, computer booted up.
As it started I pushed Alt to enter into Win 7, but upon entering windows 7 just remained a black screen. I have since then tried it countless times, and another error happens whenever i try to enter Mac OS now, as the apple sits there with its lovely loading circle below, the screen goes gray& informed me i must restart my computer by pushing and holding the power button. Nothing is working, macs are clearly shit worthless. (Also the PC repair utility doesn't work when i restarted into PC mode >.>)
So back to being depressed, angry, and pondering what it would be like to wipe out all human life on Earth. If I can't get it running by 4:30 Eastern Time USA, I will probably make a 3rd appointment in 2 months with the genius bar.

Nothing is working, macs are clearly shit worthless. (Also the PC repair utility doesn't work when i restarted into PC mode >.>)
So back to being depressed, angry, and pondering what it would be like to wipe out all human life on Earth. If I can't get it running by 4:30 Eastern Time USA, I will probably make a 3rd appointment in 2 months with the genius bar.
CDC -> 2DA -> Break?
Posted 16 years agoTwo months ago I started in CDC (Character Design and Creation) It was a class i really should have enjoyed... it was just 3d modeling, thing was my low grade OCD really started to become more notable, couldn't concentrate, and had a ton of other physiological issues fall in on me. This probably would not have happened if the CDC class didn't require me to be conscious the entire night till 5:00 am, followed by a math class at 8:00 am.
After that month I started 2DA (2d animation) I really really loved the class, it just ended 2 days ago, and i really learned a good deal from it. During the same month i had a math class, which from the looks of it I probably passed by .6 points. During the last week of last month I slammed my computer one to many times, causing its Hard Drive to fail, luckily it was under warranty and today i picked it up with a brand new Hard Drive. Lost a fair bit of stuff, but nothing i can't really get back, the main problem is just re-installing the dozens of programs I had.
At this time I have decided to take a month or so off from the insanity that is Full Sail.
After that month I started 2DA (2d animation) I really really loved the class, it just ended 2 days ago, and i really learned a good deal from it. Posted 16 years agoOk, so I feel I need to post a few amazing things i have seen this week, first of all, Watchmen. I went to the movie with no knowledge of the ploot, or characters, and found out that everything is awesome. I very quickly connected with Rorschach, an angry, violent person, that still deep inside would appear to want to do right. Also the violence in the movie was amazing, Dr. Manhattan at on point caused 2 men with shotguns to explode sending guts, blood, bones, and an assortment of other things onto some women, and the ceiling, it was awesome. There was also a shit load of sex, and a good deal of titty showing, even though this was un-fortunately dwarfed by the fact that Dr. Manhatten was 100% nude 98% of the movie. This won't stop me from buying the movie when it comes out on BlueRay though, I do have to say though, that a man having both of his fat arms chopped off was a bit insane.

This one is just plain awesome, make sure you watch it fully, and don't drift off when its playing. I heard when I first watched it that it was made by 1 modeler, 1 compositor, and two actors.
