Posted 12 years agoAs some of you may have noticed, I've been rather inactive and commissions are taking a bit longer to finish up than usual. This on account of the heavy workload for thesis this year, and while I am working hard to finish both school and owed art, commissions are my main source of income at the moment! I am very uncomfortable taking new art orders while I still have a few left in the queue, but since all these pending commissions have been lined/sketched, and I am running out of food to eat, I felt a compromise was necessary!
I've decided to offer some small coloured sketches, since they are quick and easy for me to do. The price is $6 for a headshot and $15 for a fullbody, plus an extra $5 if your character has intricate markings/designs or extra appendages.

Commissions Opening!
Posted 12 years agoHey guys! So it's been a long, LONG while since I've opened commissions here, but now that I've finished my current work it's time to open my doors yet again.
I'll be doing these a little differently to avoid overloading myself, and opening commissions by type so I don't have to sort through multiple orders of things. At the moment I'm opening slots for Cel-shaded Fullbodies and Character Designs.
These commissions are paypal only, and I usually request payment before beginning the piece.
However, if your order is quite large, I also allow 50-50 payment splits, paying half before and half after I have completed your commission.
Cel-shaded fullbodies are basically...exactly what they sound like! A Full-body image of your character or creature with a layer of graphic shading.
Examples: X, X, X
Prices: Base price is $30, but I may ask for $5 more if the character has large wings, or a complicated design. Alternatively, if your character is extremely simple, I am open to lowering the cost.
Character Designs are a collaborative effort between you (the commissioner) and I, to create a creature or character of your liking! You may be as specific or as vague with your idea as you desire, and either allow me to create something totally new for you, or illustrate an idea you may have had for a while. Each image includes several full-body coloured sketches of the finalized design, and a headshot.
Examples: X, X, X
Prices: Base price is $35, but I may ask for $5 more if the character has large wings, or a complicated design. Designs with additional shading (see the last example) are $40. Alternatively, I can provide a sheet with a gray fill instead of colours, (something like this: X ) for $25.

Posted 13 years ago You may have noticed things slowing down a bit around here, and it's because I've returned to college and am busy getting acclimated and preparing for another year of intense paintin' and illustratin'. Things will probably continue to be slow until I get myself aligned with the groove, but I'm still working on all owed art. Here's to another great year though!
Also, a rather off-topic question: Does anyone know any stores where I can buy some nice fox pelts? I've been looking online but I lot but the ones I find look either ratty or expensive. I have a couple fox tails I look at (and smush my face into) when I need some art inspiration, and I figure some full pelts with pretty markings can help keep me going even more.
Kinda awkward but if you have any info, let me know!
