Dating YCHs - Opinions?

I need to think of what I'm doing this year.
All I did last time was a single YCH. The Tango.
This time, I'm thinking DATE MY CHARACTER YCHs.
These would be 3 page comics of a date. Mostly highlights. These can end SFW or NSFW, as agreed by the winner.

I have gone through my characters and picked out three eligible characters.

What can be said about Warpfang that hasn't already been seen? He's adventurous, happy, a good marksman, and can go either way with a proper date. He's easy to date, and a nice guy. Almost a pushover, unless someone is doing something that goes against his morals. Because he's also a hero.

Oh, this one was easy. All the others have specific wants and needs, and really... they wouldn't make great dates. So Speed Rate was picked because she is pretty team oriented, and loves to challenge herself and her partner. She tries to get her partner off at least twice as much as herself without limiting her own enjoyment. Though, that's more bedroom nature. She loves to fly, swim, explore, and most things that her partner enjoys.
One female... ehh...
Okay, my repertoire of ladies is... big. There are quite a few, yes, but it's hard to pick any of them. I didn't want another rat, or else it'd be Frost. Big, busty lady with superpowers? Sure, but she's a very expensive lady. So I went through all the characters I own and I came down to only two ladies who wouldn't end up being difficult or eat their date.
Semele and Mareanne.
Now, Semele il Briesis has never been drawn on this account. She's a gronk, like Zarilla il Daxxa, but she's colored more like Ko'ten. She's a guard captain who believes in strong equality, and following a set of morals that doesn't usually coincide with the Falmidian Council, so she'll often be at ends with her superiors about what to do with pet species.
Mareanne is a fairly fresh character, and recently drawn in an image that... apparently you must enjoy. She's the daughter of an old RP character of mine, and a squirrel. Sweet, smart, wears glasses... has cleavage and a fluffy tail... yeah. Not many dimensions to her yet.

"What's Been Up with Edgar Lately?"

My workplace, which was supposed to have me as part time, has been demanding a LOT more of me than I would normally want to give.
I thought it would slow down here.
Then my store manager quit.

Also, he had been reportedly throwing away good applications just so he wouldn't have to deal with new people.

Well, the regional manager is stepping in for now, and we'll see what happens. He wants to keep me, so that's good. We have too few people working too many hours, and he knows it.
So... yeah. I live, but... I can't really do art and work during the same day. It doesn't come out looking good at all, and I like to offer quality.

STEP ONE: Watch me... if you're not already. If you are, you're awesome!
STEP TWO: Reference of character. This needs to include a few things, but does not necessarily have to be an image.
- It must include a description. This can be an image.
- You must give me at least 3 personality descriptives. These can be things like "coy" or "blunt." You must give me at least three. (Words like "smart" are not personality descriptions, but words like "scholarly" or "inquisitive" are.)
- Rate your character's intelligence from 1-5, with 1 being pretty dumb, but not socially incapable, and 5 being smart enough to go into a field of science.
- Any indications of speech mannerisms should also be included, if necessary. A dialect, or a preferred wording.

- Action: Space piracy and fire fights!
- Horror: Derelict space ships filled with the worst the universe has to offer.
- Erotica: Sexual alien connections?
- Action Erotica: Saving the defenseless, only to get your own reward.
- Horror Erotica: Kidnapped and at the mercy of horrible tortures, both mental and physical.
STEP FOUR: Choose whether you want a male or female antagonist, or if you don't care.
STEP FIVE: Include limitations. Is there something you definitely do not want to see happen to your character? It's important to mention that. If you're not able to see certain ratings, be sure to include that as well.
Once you post a comment following these rules, as long as I see that you've followed them, I will respond with "accepted." When this raffle concludes on the 4th of January, I'll pool all of the entries together and award some winner/s.
By entering, you get 1 chance to win.

General | Posted 7 years agoSo, yeah. I had a few days of solace, and then two people at work went out on medical. So of course, I have once again been working every day.
So, lately I've just been doing some five-minute sketches in the morning before work. Of course, this is at 8 and 9 AM, but it is better than nothing. Though, I did forget to eat breakfast the other day because of it.

Good News for Commissioners and Winners!

Things are finally getting back to order at work. We've hired the appropriate number of new pizza drones, and I've finally had a discussion with my boss about sorting out my hours.
So what's that mean for you? Well, if you're expecting art, hopefully it's good news.
Since October, I've been having a busy, busy life. Very busy.
Since things should be getting back to normal soon, I've planned out what art to make first, mostly based on how long it'll take to make.
I know, usually I order things by first come first serve, but this seems to make the most sense after the break.
Here's the Order:
1: Tasty Love YCH - I've already started it, so it shouldn't be too hard to complete.
2: Three Sketchmissions. These are quicker than the normal commissions and YCHs, so I want to handle these.
3: Hangman and Spider Horror YCHs
4: Ref Sheet for one of my hatchable eggs. (Yay!)
5: Some pony ref sketches as examples for a reference commission.
So that's 7 pieces, and then working on a pony ref.
Between those will be some quick freebie sketches, collaborations, and pixel arts.
Anyone who thinks I missed mentioning their piece, please note me.
I'd like to remind my commissioners, clients, and watchers that there is a refund policy in place on my art that comes into play if I do not finish your piece within 90 days from the purchase date.
We haven't quite hit 45 days, soooooo... I think we'll be fine.

lirrasylvain is able to sleep easily. So I usually work on something for an hour or two before going to bed myself.
I can't fit my drawing display in bed, so I'm stuck with three options:
1: Pixel art... which usually needs a sketch foundation anyway, but is otherwise productive.
2: Play Video Games... which is entirely unproductive, and can sometimes keep one or both of us up longer than intended.
3: Write... which is usually productive, and generally about game rules.
So... I came up with the idea that I want to write something for someone at night, mostly to see if my writing skills are still good. Or close to on par from when I used to write as a ghostwriter.

- Horror Erotica: Where you are hounded, defeated, and taken by a monster in the most sexual of ways. This can result in your character's death.

Sometimes, I Pixelate at Night
General | Posted 7 years agoMe and my girlfriend have a ritual, where we go to bed, and she lays down to go to sleep, while I continue to do things on the computer to help her drift off.
I can't work on normal art, since my display tablet is way too huge for bed... but I can pixelate, since I do that with the mouse.

General | Posted 7 years agoYeah, it's more stuff about me. If you're not interested, don't bother reading. :P
So, at work, we had a couple people quit (before they got fired for smoking pot on the job,) one being a manager who wasn't very reliable, and one being his girlfriend. Okay, well, then I started getting training to be management... because I have previous experience with that sort of stuff.
Then yesterday, two of the most reliable employees put in their two weeks, declaring that they were leaving.
Without going into too much detail, that means work is probably going to call me in more often, and end up throwing more hours at me, in an attempt to fast-track my training. It's very tiresome. :/
... Anyway, I'mma try to get this art done when I can.
Oh, do you guys think I should just stop at how many Halloween YCHs I already put out, or do you think I should try to hit the 13, even after October?

Not this time... but why? I've actually managed to successfully SELL EVERY SLOT I POSTED! Big hurrah for that.
Problem... about a week into it I found out that I need to find a new place to live. Oh, and on top of that, a new means of reliable transportation.

So, uh, yeah. Things are a bit tender, and I am having a lot of difficulty working on all these lovely YCHs that I want to finish up.

Does One Art Type Alienate Fans of Others?

Gore...
Now, if you're a fan primarily of one of these... does it sort of put you off, or bore you away from my account when I end up posting a lot of the other stuff?
Like for instance... during last January when I ran JanuPONY... were there a lot of anthro fans of my account that maybe stopped paying as much attention to me due to the overloaded pastel ponies?
Or do you still keep an eye out for whenever I post something that catches your eye?
When I draw gore, or horror porn, does it disgust you so much that you don't want to look through my gallery, for fear of seeing that stuff come up?
Does it alienate fans of one genre when I post a lot of stuff of another genre?
I'll be honest, I've wanted to draw ponies now and then, but decided against it because I don't want to turn away people not as into ponies.

SFW Only Female Anthros - The Elementals - Technically four different characters, these characters are good for superhero/villain duos, and other SFW details. Violence and blood acceptable, but that's as far into Mature as I'm willing to get with these heroines.
SFW Only Female Child Anthro - Foxglove - Remake of an old character. She's a rat girl who's growing up in the equivalent of Germany for the same universe as the Elementals. Generally very light-hearted, she carries with her the scars of being orphaned and lost to the system. Good to play games with other kids.
Female Anthro - Sigmunda (Nipply Ref Sheet) / Teen Sigmunda (The one on the right...) - A viking seeress, and a sexy bunny. This stoic girl comes as a viking adult, with preference to her natural era, or as a charming teenager in the modern era. She can tease, but won't be involved in any direct sexual contact. She can perform bloody rituals, and do other very dangerous things. As a teen, she can hang out, chat about boys, and do general school-style antics. Violence and blood allowed, no direct sexual contact.
Male Anthro - Warpfang - An adventurer rat. What do you think of that? Good for adventures, and fighting, and philanthropic measures of humping. I mean... if he must!
Female Anthro - Chishi - Flatlizards are bestlizards. 100% reptillian female! Also 100% badass. She brawls in clubs and on the streets of an anthro-style Boston in her own fictional action movie story. The more she gets pumped up with violence, the more likely she is to tear someone's clothes off. An emerald tree monitor, her tail is 1 and 1/2 the length of her body's height.
Female Anthro - Tlihui - Only one picture of her online, but I've drawn her a few times offline. She's based on a Starbound character, but has a definite "Sonic Character" vibe about the art style. Good to pair with other SOCs, or other Starbound characters on Sci-Fi adventures. Also, if you like birds, I am dying to try her in a more normal style with some wings on her back.
MLP Male - Eight Star (M for Blood) - Yeah, sure. Kinda used to be my main character, but hasn't had much use lately. He's a dark sorcerer/necromancer, and kind of the grand master of an old secret order of agents that worked well with the MLP universe until they had a giant crystal tree in the Everfree Forest. Suggest me some ideas on this one.
MLP Females - Speed Rate - Looks good in uniform, assists new fliers, and generally likes to help people. Very passionate in all manners, really. Also, Pickpear turns out to be okay for some cases. She's a runt unicorn, so she smol.
Male Alien - Xeno Zangotta (The one on the left.) - Xeno's Torso (NSFW) - A gronk, like Zarilla, except from an ancient and magical time. His rough skin was changed to actual emeralds through the power of great magic, and he's been alive since the times before time was accounted for. He takes great pleasure in adventure, stories, and hypnotizing un-suspecting females into coming out of their shy mannerisms. Very powerful mind control, and high level of creation-style magical powers. Suggest anything!
Female Predators - Ctheyna, and Zarilla (NSFW) - Both similar characters. Carnivorous alien ladies who are dominant. Zarilla is more of a mistress, while Ctheyna just gets things her way... or else. Anything goes with these characters, as long as it keeps them in their dominant positions. Hard vore active.
Male Predator - Kodanjuka (On the right.) - An ogre-sized komodo monitor. Smarter than he looks, surprisingly good at sneaking up on prey, and definitely... hard vore active. Also, he has hemipenis!
Female Prey - Mirri Pon Daxxa - Prey. Exists only to be beaten on, eaten, torn apart, etc. So... that's what she's here for.
Genderless Metamorphic Mass - Ieo (NSFW) (The black creature.) - A tentacle monster! I mean... basically. It also eats magic and chases down unicorns for their endless supply. Good at con and non-con, but does not have the capacity to impregnate.

Today, I am opening up for SKETCHMISSIONS!
I'll be making an image ad later, but here's the run down.
Sketchmissions are kinda like commissions, except there's no sketch approval, and it will always be at 72dpi, and there won't be much going on with the background. Otherwise, they're clean colored, cel-shaded images.
SINGLE SKETCHES - $14
This is a single sketch of your character. This will usually be at least 2/3 body, and I will try to do something fitting your character's personality.
Examples: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 (NSFW)
DOUBLE SKETCHES - $22
This will feature at least two sketches of your character. At least one of them is going to be a 2/3 body, the other one might be, or might end up a chibi, or might end up a detailed face sketch. Again, I'll do my best to fit your character's personality.
Examples: 1 - 2
SKETCH PAGE - $30
This will be one full page of about 3 sketches of your character. I will do my best to fill the page with as much personality and information of your character as possible.

Female Anthro - Chishi - Flatlizards are bestlizards. 100% reptillian female! Also 100% badass. She brawls in clubs and on the streets of an anthro-style Boston in her own fictional action movie story. The more she gets pumped up with violence, the more likely she is to tear someone's clothes off. An emerald tree monitor, her tail is 1 and 1/2 the length of her body's height.
Female Anthro - Tlihui - Only one picture of her online, but I've drawn her a few times offline. She's based on a Starbound character, but has a definite "Sonic Character" vibe about the art style. Good to pair with other SOCs, or other Starbound characters on Sci-Fi adventures. Also, if you like birds, I am dying to try her in a more normal style with some wings on her back.
MLP Male - Eight Star (M for Blood) - Yeah, sure. Kinda used to be my main character, but hasn't had much use lately. He's a dark sorcerer/necromancer, and kind of the grand master of an old secret order of agents that worked well with the MLP universe until they had a giant crystal tree in the Everfree Forest. Suggest me some ideas on this one.
MLP Female - Speed Rate - Looks good in uniform, assists new fliers, and generally likes to help people. Very passionate in all manners, really.
Female Predators - Ctheyna, and Zarilla (NSFW) - Both similar characters. Carnivorous alien ladies who are dominant. Zarilla is more of a mistress, while Ctheyna just gets things her way... or else. Anything goes with these characters, as long as it keeps them in their dominant positions. Hard vore active.
Male Predator - Kodanjuka (On the right.) - An ogre-sized komodo monitor. Smarter than he looks, surprisingly good at sneaking up on prey, and definitely... hard vore active. Also, he has hemipenis!
Female Prey - Mirri Pon Daxxa - Prey. Exists only to be beaten on, eaten, torn apart, etc. So... that's what she's here for.
Genderless Metamorphic Mass - Ieo (NSFW) (The black creature.) - A tentacle monster! I mean... basically. It also eats magic and chases down unicorns for their endless supply. Good at con and non-con, but does not have the capacity to impregnate.

SFW Only Female Anthros - The Elementals - Technically four different characters, these characters are good for superhero/villain duos, and other SFW details. Violence and blood acceptable, but that's as far into Mature as I'm willing to get with these heroines.
SFW Only Female Child Anthro - Foxglove - Remake of an old character. She's a rat girl who's growing up in the equivalent of Germany for the same universe as the Elementals. Generally very light-hearted, she carries with her the scars of being orphaned and lost to the system. Good to play games with other kids.
Male Anthro - Warpfang - An adventurer rat. What do you think of that? Good for adventures, and fighting, and philanthropic measures of humping. I mean... if he must!
