I mean, with how often I can draw, it seems like I'd be worth it for the right price. :P

Also, I hope you're all enjoying my October thing. I think I am, to the point where I might do it next year, at least. Or even in other months here and there. (Not December though, I'm kind of a Grinch when it comes to Christmas.)

AH, BUT WAIT!
What I have planned is a 10 page comic for ponies and tentacles, (ahh, my roots.)
Problem is, I can't imagine anyone interested in the starting bid of the main character of $15 a page. (That's $150 to start...) There are a few other characters, but they're only in it for the first three pages, (one runs and the other... does not.)
So the question is... do you guys think I should go for it?! Or do you think I should play it safe with another... single pose?
AH, BUT WAIT!

Why so early? Well, any that don't sell here will hit another site as a second chance before I take them for myself. So you guys get the "first pick" so to speak.
I've posted four images.
First off, and the GENERAL RATING we have Scary Ghost Kids! <-Link
This one is to set a light mood, and give false hope of the horrors to come. One kid thought scaring his friend was a good idea! What do you think?
Secondly, at the MATURE RATING we have Ahead of the Game![url] <-Link
This zombie thought he could get in early for Halloween and show you his head.

Overachievement Ambition (Ideas?)

Little known fact about me is that Halloween is my favorite holiday. (Surprised?)
I didn't do so well for Halloween last year, and mostly because a whole bunch of BS was on my mind.
Same stuff is technically still going on in my life, (and the American Justice System is a bunch of BS about it... but it's looking up for me, at least.)
Anyway, all that aside, I have decided to shoot for the stars this October.
I'm working on creating 31 YCH images for October. Yes, you read that right (I hope,) one for each day.
These YCHs are all going to have the same basic themes. Horror... Gore... Nightmarish Happenings... except one for each week that will be YCHs of kids having fun for Halloween.
Yeah. Think I can do it?
If I put my mind to it, I think I can.
So, do you have any suggestions for YCH poses following along these themes that you would want to see? I'll take suggestions, and may or may not do something with them. I've already got some death, zombies, and impalement, (and one Darkspawn Broodmother,) but there's always room for more.
Also, starting next week I'll be posting groups of these YCHs at once for you guys to have an early look at, and you can bid on them or buy them before they go anywhere else. Any that don't get bought here are likely to go to YCH.Commishes.

Well, I've been sketching traditionally lately. Practicing bodies and using these new alcohol-based markers, (not the Copic brand though, they're bloody expensive.) Been using Artist's Loft, which is apparently just as good.

Anyway, I've been practicing bodies because I feel mine still need work on the construction level, and if I can get the body form a little closer to realistic, I'll be closer to the level of a proper artist. Most of my technique at the moment is learned from other Anthro artists and such, which are usually pretty crap at realistic proportions, (if you're an artist reading this, I don't mean you... obviously.)
So I'll return to the thick of it soon enough. Just not... now.

Anyway, I've been practicing bodies because I feel mine still need work on the construction level, and if I can get the body form a little closer to realistic, I'll be closer to the level of a proper artist. Most of my technique at the moment is learned from other Anthro artists and such, which are usually pretty crap at realistic proportions, (if you're an artist reading this, I don't mean you... obviously.)
So I'll return to the thick of it soon enough. Just not... now.
Also, for those of you who have been with me a long time, you'll notice I did have some YCHs recently. Since I didn't meet last month's goal of money, I had to scratch some together quick. Still, I have a commission in the works, (that I really ought to get to,) and some other YCH ideas swimming in my noggin.

HEY! OBJECT MODEL HELP?!
General | Posted 8 years agoI've just spent the better part of the last day and a half trying to fix and .OBJ file I bought so that it could be printed.
The modeller I commissioned left objects beneath the surface objects, (so the nude humanoid model, then the underwear, then the coat and bracers,) and I don't know how to alter the object so that it becomes just one exterior shell.
Can anyone help? I've tried a few online tutorials, but either none of them are working properly, or I'm just not understanding them properly, (and mostly because I've never had an interest in taking up 3D modelling.)

STEAMPUNK
Hmm... I was watching Wild Wild West the other day, and someone commented about the wild west. Now, when I think the wild west, normally I think of that show Hell on Wheels which was absolutely awesome. Cullen Bohannon was an absolute badass. Anyway... this theme here isn't that, it's steampunk. A steampunk that can range anywhere from Victorian era with gears and steam and crazy time machines... to that most excellent game, SteamWorld Heist which is steampunk in space.
FASHION
Have you ever wanted to see your character modeling an awesome outfit? Well, here you totally can! This would be one of those rare cases where I'd have to be able to accept poses of just "standing around," and you would finally get to see just how well I can draw outfits. (Outfit design is actually a lot of fun.)

Ever watch that show? Well, I DO! The newest season is balls compared to some of the others, so let's make some new stuff! Naked and afraid is where your character gets put in a harsh environment with not even the clothes on their back, and is expected to survive for 21 days! What part to we tune into? Also, this is a bit like Don't Starve, but without clothes or tools.
LET'S DANCE
Kick it! What's your favorite dance moves and steps?! Does your character have the moves, or is their only dance "The Nerdy"? With this, you can enter one or two characters showing off their moves on the dance floor, or the ball room, or the cardboard box on the street.

This week is decided, then. So, for next week, here's a fun little popularity contest...

Here's what I want you to do: Read over these short descriptions of each character, and vote on 2 males and 2 females you would be most interested in seeing. I've selected five of each gender, now it's up to you guys to decide who you want to see.
Males
Edgar Kingmaker: Oh hey, that's me! Super ego activate! Dominant male, warrior mage, and commander of a chaos army from a thousand years ago. Edgar Kingmaker is an undead chaos-warped fruit bat who's very direct and to the point. Enjoys old things, like antiques, but young bodies who want to submit. He likes playing around with submissive people, and is quite the sadist.
Warpfang: Warpfang the rat is a character from my old account days. He's bi, somewhat submissive in social situations, and very high energy. He's a talker! He's also an expert marksman in archery, and handy with a rapier! He can sneak into dungeons and disarm all the traps, allowing fighters to trounce enemies while he finds a perfect position to pick enemies off from the darkness! Very handy rat to have around.
Kodanjuka: This komodo dragon is about 20' long, stands 12' tall, and usually eats one fur each month. Yeah. When he's not eating furs, he's usually trying to figure out current culture. When he can't, he just hangs out in the woods, or jungles, building ramshack shelters and enjoying nature. Kind of a softie, and a nudist... just don't bleed around him and excite his appetite.
Gearclaw: The mad scientist! One of the three main villains in The Losing Streak, he's the brains of the group. With an astronomical IQ, this doctor has made robotic designs look easy! His main area of focus is robotics, and his main motivation is trying to track down his lost mate. He loves to blow things up, beat up superheroes, and make people think he's losing, when he really isn't.
Eight Star: A main from my last account, Eight Star is a really old sorcerer unicorn pony who is infused with the powers of a chaos crystal. It would be overpowered, if the crystal wouldn't slap him around if he did anything outside of its plan for the world. He's the master of his own secret organization of agents... but not entirely willingly. He does things because he has to, and because of that his only joys in life are getting out and meeting others, or inflicting a little pain and terror on other ponies.
Females
Ko'ten il Morax: A live-and-let-live kinda girl. She enjoys having fun, and can psychically project herself to appear as any form in someone else's mind. She's a gronk, which is a species that see no issue with owning other species as pets, so she talks down to other furries without really meaning to, (you know how you talk to your cat.) Otherwise, she's up for anything exciting and fun... and she loves to accessorize.
Sigmunda: A viking seeress. This bunny is able to cast magic, and make herself seem a lot tougher than she probably is. Generally quiet, she doesn't often start issues... but she can definitely resolve them. Usually tags along to places if there's going to be walking, because she actually likes wandering and walking, even if for no purpose.
Ctheyna: The new girl on the block, this alien creature is a mix of an abyssal fish, a pterodactyl, and is a mammal. She can fly, swim fairly well, and can strip the flesh from the bones of an adult fur in less than ten minutes. Living on a planet that's mostly water, (with just a few islands,) she's a very tribal lady, and is very forceful. She will take what she wants, and leave very little room for question. Just watch those teeth!
Sally Sinister: An old character that, after being given to me by an old friend, ended up taking on a life of her own. Sally is a punky ewe with a head for rock and roll. She's high energy when hanging out, and loves to hit clubs. She also works a physical job, and loves to get a good massage now and then. In a fight, she's not afraid to headbutt people, and is very... very protective of her friends.
Katlyn Kaos: Probably one of my absolute oldest characters to date. She's been with me through multiple accounts. Katlyn is a calico cat that's mute, which makes her extremely physical. She will get her point across one way or another, and she is unbelievably strong. In another dimension, contracted by the same chaos deity as Edgar, she swings around a two-handed blade like it was a dagger. Her battle prowess is only matched by her ferocity in the bedroom. So watch out... this kitty has claws.
Other - (This character can replace a male or female vote if you want. It's incredibly NSFW, though.)
Ieo: This metamorphic blob can take any physical form it wants... and it hungers for the essence of the living. It can stalk its prey as the shape of another fur, (or a harmless box,) then pounce on them and take all it wants.
So, go for it! If you have questions about any of them, feel free to ask. I'll answer you, and update their write-up for clarity.

HERE'S THE THEMES
SPOOKY HORROR
This theme will also alter the method of sketching. Rather than big fat lines, I'll be using lots of unrefined pen strokes, giving it a messier and overall creepier feel. This theme will deal with gore, slashers, ghosts, etc. Reminiscent of our last horror theme.
HANG OUT WITH MY CHARACTERS
In this theme, you choose one of 6 characters I provide, (3 male, 3 female,) and you pick something your character could be seen doing with one of them. Like... throwing money at the stripper llama Yaretzi... or hunting deer in the woods with Warpfang. Y'know... stuff. It's an interactive, I like to think. So that's this one.
SUPERHEROES
BE a superhero, or PRETEND to be a superhero... or PUNCH a superhero in their stupid hero face! Powers, flying, crimefighting, daredeviling. Etc. Superhero theme stuff!
