Content Out of the Question
Scat - Blood, gore, and guts I can do. People enjoying pooping on each other? I don't think so.
Diapers on Adults - Diapers on toddlers I can do... or maybe even on really old characters. Diapers on adults who get arousal out of them, I can't do.
Illegal Material - Images of racial hate for non-satirical themes. Images of sexual situations (or nudity) involving minors.
Payment Types
Square Invoice is currently the only form of monetary transaction I'll accept.
Trades are either for art, or characters.
Payment is expected before I begin the process of finishing a piece.
Payment is not expected before the customer sees a planning sketch, (or the YCH).

The initial request for your commission is known as the agreement of content which is what I will use to quote you on how much, and will be referencing in order to make your commission.
It is your duty as the commissioner to ensure your agreement of content is complete and suits your needs. A sketch will be provided before the final piece is provided - ensure every detail of the sketch fits your needs.
The agreement of content is also the boundaries within what you can revise. If you attempt to make changes to your commission that are outside of the agreement of content either before the finish, or after, it may result in additional charges.
Example:
Agreement: "I want my character (example ref) getting themselves reamed by tentacles, use every hole!"
Upon finishing... "Actually, I wanted the tentacles to be neon green, and not see through!"
This was something not within the agreement of content, but not a hugely difficult fix, but I may ask for a small amount to correct this.
However, if upon finishing... "You missed (obscure content on my ref sheet,) could you please add that?"
That is an item that was within the agreement of content, and I will make the correction for free.
If, during the sketching phase, you are unhappy with the pose, you may request a different pose up to two times. Suggesting a pose is also fine. If you request a change of pose, I am free to use the original pose for something else, (like YCHs.)
Posting the image you've commissioned is alright, as long as my account is linked. Under no circumstances may you remove my signature from the image.
YCH Auction ToS
If you have won an auction, you have made a commitment and have 24 hours to pay for it. You then own the position pose, as far as I'm concerned, and have as long as you want to decide what character to put in that spot. If we're in a multi-auction however, I need your ref within 72 hours, or you may end up being refunded and the slot re-opened.
If you bid and fail to pay, or back out when you've won a slot, it will not be appreciated. Unfortunately, there's no recourse I can really follow except to block you. Let's not have that happen.
Winning an auction means you agree that the pose is acceptable, and at that time only minor changes are allowed to the pose. It is your duty as the winner to provide a complete reference. There is no guarantee on receiving a mid-way sketch with a YCH auction. I will use the reference information you provide me in order to draw the character into the slot, and likely will not make any effort to research the character if something is missing, (I will just assume back/side coloration if it's missing.)
Agreeing on an additional part to the YCH, (internal, extra shot, etc,) is also not guaranteed to have a sketch, but is more likely to result in one.
When posted, you have the right to repost on your account if it's your solo piece. IF the piece has more than one slot, you must ensure it is alright with all of the other winners before you can repost it on your account. As the artist, I will post it on my account regardless. (It will happen.)
The only revisions I'll make on a YCH is if I missed something with your reference, (like stripes, or wings.)

Adoptable characters come as is in the submission. Any information not included in the submission itself is not included with the adoptable.
The new owner of any adoptable has full rights to anything they then do with that adoptable. The only retained item is the original reference, which the new owner may not remove my signature from, or post in partial. Any and all other changes to the character for future references or anything else from that point on is entirely their decision, and they do not need to consult me in any way over them.
Hatchable characters, or eggs, have a set reference sheet style before being hatched. The price includes all that is mentioned in the submission. Reference sheets on hatchable characters, once released, are allowed a few minor edits. Major edits and requests before the hatching are often acceptable without additional payment. Major edits after hatching can result in additional costs. Once the character is hatched and acceptably received, they count as normal adoptables, and you are then allowed to do whatever you want with them, other than posting their reference in part, or missing my signature.
Refunds
I would never commission an artist who has a "NO REFUNDS" policy in their ToS, no matter how good they are. It's a huge red flag, and I really think people should be aware of that.
Refunds can occur under a few conditions.
If I've Taken a Long Time... if there is a set time I quote you on for our agreement of content then if I exceed that, you may ask for a refund. Otherwise, if at least 90 days have passed, you may request a refund.
I Just Don't Get It... when I've sent you three sketches... that you just won't accept... then you can request a refund (if you already paid me) because we just don't click on a creative level.
If You've Changed Your Mind and don't want it from me anymore after we've already made our agreement of content or you've won your slot then you are allowed to request a partial refund. At that point I am entitled to keep 50% or $10 of the payment, whichever is less. (So if you only paid $10, I'd only be keeping $5, but if you paid $40, you'd get back $30.)
If You're an Asshole and something happened socially between us, (which is highly unlikely,) then I am entitled to asking what you PayPal is, sending back the money, and using any sketch I started for a new project.
Refunds can take up to a week to pay back once requested, but will be returned.
If you attack me, instead of asking for a refund politely, you're much less likely to receive one. If publicly, I reserve the right to just report you for harassment and block you. So let's all be friends... okay?

Question About Raffle Rules
General | Posted 8 years agoIs Rule 3 hard to grasp, or do you think people simply don't read all the rules on a regular basis?
3. Include with your reference a situation, action, or pose. Generally... what you want to be going on in your request. Please note that I will not accept "surprise me," comments without suggestions, or "standing around." I have a harder time drawing static poses than action.
Or do you think I'm just not being clear enough?
I'm not pointing any fingers, but I will get people entering just by pasting their ref, or by wanting to be "sitting in a chair" or something. This suggests to me that they either didn't read it, or I'm just not bold/underlining the right sections.
What do you lot think?

So this week AND next week have been decided. I'm going to do Fantasy, and follow it up next week with some Festivals and Celebrations.
After all, I may not be able to please all the people all the time, but if at least 6 people voted, I know I have at least all 6 days covered. :P
Now, as for my week AFTER next... I was thinking of having a theme where people make requests of their characters in a picture with one of mine. Not just any one of mine, I'd narrow it down a bit with your help, but the idea is that they'll have a bit of help in deciding what to request, because there will be some suggestions on, of course, what activities each character would willingly commit to.
So here's the question I pose:
Of my personal characters, are there any particular ones you like by appearance or personality? Or do you have questions about some of them?

I was thinking... what if I record all of the (non-sexual) sketches I do, time-lapse them, and make them a series?
What would you guys think of that?

HERE'S THE THEMES
SPOOKY HORROR
This theme will also alter the method of sketching. Rather than big fat lines, I'll be using lots of unrefined pen strokes, giving it a messier and overall creepier feel. This theme will deal with gore, slashers, ghosts, etc. Reminiscent of our last horror theme.
FANTASY STUFF
Come to a world of fantasy, where you can bring your RP characters of tabletop games to life. Slay monsters, gather moolah, babble incoherently at NPCs that honestly don't care one way or the other. THIS IS FANTASY!
FESTIVALS
A night at the fair, carnival, festival! Find an occasion to celebrate, and totally have your character drawn celebrating! From street fairs (like Oktoberfest, or picklefest,) to New Years Eve! All are valid here!

Arrival at Anthrocon!
General | Posted 8 years agoI've arrived at the Marriott City Center, laying down on the eleventh floor after getting my badge, having dinner, and taking a swim.
I've got six jumbo prints to set up in the Art Show.
Gonna sit in Artist's Alley, hand out business cards, and hopefully get a few commissions to queue up.

At Anthrocon I have space reserved in the Art Show. Six of my art pieces will be on display for bidding. Five of them you can find here in the gallery, but they've been touched up a little and sized up to meet a crisp 11x14 size. The last one's special.
I also won the lottery all the days for Artist's Alley. Though I don't know that I'll be there every day. I know I'll be there Friday, drawing and selling badges. Not sure for how much. Probably $10 or $15. Most likely the $15, since they are traditional-style rather than digital.
I'll also be selling 4 different bookmarks, and a couple of different pictures from my gallery as full prints.
So I think I'm about done with my preps for Anthrocon.
What kinda prices would you expect to pay for 8.5 x 11 prints of digital work?

General | Posted 8 years agoOnce I get back from the convention I'll try and start up the freebies again. I know I dropped off on there, but the week long headache runaround really did me in. I've been over it for a little while, but I've been pushing myself to have some items ready for the Art Gallery, print out a bunch of bookmarks, and get business cards done. Etc, etc, etc...
So that's why I've been quiet... and just now and then posting some finished art.
I did, however, post a few YCHs over at commishes.

Well, a migraine's been chasing me the last week or so, and I think it's the seasonal shift, but I'm not sure. Still, anytime I look at the screen I get a headache and... so I've painted some minis.
I'll have said miniatures showing soon.
Also, I haven't been feeling as up to drawing lately. I posted and finished a few YCHs on that ych.commishes site, but that's about all. Otherwise I just haven't been feeling very artsy-fartsy. (Last part's not true, I've been farting fairly regularly today.)
Err, well, I'm going to try to finish the three sketches I promised, and then I'm going to try and get back to the whole... free art thing.

So, I haven't been feeling so hot lately. You mighta noticed I haven't been posting every day like I usually do.
Well, I sorta kicked it, I think. I worked out some poses for some YCHs to test my artistic waters, and then worked on the first of the free sketches I have piled up.
So here's what's gonna happen about Fight Night's Free Sketch Week. It's gonna be extended to TWO weeks, and I'm just going to skip the last three days, since I didn't hand out winners anyway.

I sit down to draw one thing, then an hour later I've finished painting a miniature for my tabletop RPG, (or I'm killing darkspawn...)
Anyway, next week's theme voting still needs to happen. I'll get to all the free art eventually, after all.

My Character List
General | Posted 8 years agoThis is just a list of my characters.Post Divorce Character List - Characters fleshed out since I've taken the new account.Edgar Kingmaker: Sadistic, harsh master who is half undead, ancient, and bored. Initially resurrected by the King Deity of Chaos, he was recreated to lead the army of the Frozen Spear. His main base of operations landed in the lands of Winter, where he would regularly do battle with hairy, warrior-like people. Retired now, he lives mostly alone, but sometimes heads out to find himself a pet to keep himself company... at least, until he accidentally breaks her.
Sigmunda: Half Mallerud and half English Lop, this rabbit is a viking seer. Born with gifts from her bloodline, she has the ability to communicate with the gods, and affect the world around her with their favor. Her curse is that she only keeps these gifts as long as she is pure. If she becomes impure, she will lose her gifts and pass them on to her first born daughter. Quiet, she listens more to the sounds of the world around her than to the furs around her.
Kodanjuka: A long time ago, I used to use Kodanjuka as an RP character for HARD AS HELL vore RPs. Of course, he was always the predator, and there was usually rape involved, as well as lots of gore and guts. Hey, he's a komodo dragon. All of his traits are basically the same as the real komodo dragons... including the island gigantism. The only difference is his ability to stand on two legs and talk to people.
Super Heroes: I'm working on a comic called The Losing Streak. The Elementals, Flame, Frost, Storm and Stone are heroes. The villains are Gearclaw, Glastros, and Back-Biter. I won't list them here, even though Frost and Flame have been in a number of images so far. (Can you find Gearclaw?!)
Gronks: Gronks are a species made for the tabletop RPG TimewarpVortex. They have a base level of psychic abilities, and can communicate freely with giant sentient crystals. Though, those are just the upsides. They're mammals with rough reptilian skin.
Ko'ten il Morax: A short-tailed gronk. She went to the Xenopian Academy of Psychic Arts to improve her natural talents of deception. She is able to project herself mentally as someone other than herself. Each person she's around can see her as something different, but the more people around her - the more of a drain it is. She's a "live and let live" sort of girl. Short, happy, and carefree. She loves rainbows and flowers and stuff.
Ni'lana il So'kah: Also a short-tailed gronk, and Ko'ten's roomie at the academy. She has the psychic gift of cancellation. Rather, she can stop other psychic powers from working, which makes her a bit of a social outcast. Introverted, with self-image issues and a lack of physical ability, she often sticks to Ko'ten like glue when she goes out.
Mozakan ix Kazin: Another short-tailed gronk. Short-tailed gronks are gronks that have been born with a dwarfism defect. Mozakan doesn't let it get him down. In fact, he's a construction foreman, and an underground wrestler at night. However, he knows how to treat a lady right. A gentleman when he's able to give the attention, he sure doesn't let his size slow him down.
Adoptables: Either won or traded for, these are characters that were adoptables.
Mirri: First adoptable I traded for. I needed something cute to munch on.
Jasmine (Bottom Right): Second adoptable I traded for. Though the reference I got for her is .jpg and has a bunch of artifacts on it, she's still an extra body to throw in. I needed a canine, that's what it was.
Zeke (Getting Punched): I won Zeke in a raffle. So far he's tended a bar and gotten punched. Canine male... woo~?
Pre-Divorce Characters: Characters I owned before the divorce, which was about 20 months ago.
KatlynKaos: Probably one of my oldest RP characters ever. Undead, mute, and has to emote and use actions to get her point across and get what she wants. Do not engage in battle... she uses a big two-hander to cut people in half.
chishi: An old character of mine while I had a writing account. I wrote a bunch of stuff, and I really love her as a character.Pink Fizz: An RP character I used a bunch on Everypony.com. She's nuckin' futz. I just recently drew that anthro-version of her.
Ponies: I have a bunch of ponies. Just ask

Though, with the mystery of my mind, I want to, instead, raffle off a superhero-style comic book battle!
So that's what this journal is... a raffle! For a sketch comic of about 3 pages or so with combat!

Initially I started the free sketches because I enjoy drawing free things for people... that, and it really does boost my watcher numbers, doesn't it? :3 You guys like free art, and I like giving free art, but I need to make a little money, so I'm going to take the next week to work on more YCH poses and finish up these commissions I have here.

So we have to go through the polling business again...
Now, the themes!
I had such a fun time doing this one, I figured I'd bring it back. "Doing some form of activity with a friend! This happy theme includes you and a fur you know. From snuggles to playing video games. From dancing on tabletops to outrunning the neighbors! Of course, there are friendships that have other benefits, and they certainly can't be left out."
Yeah, I know, it hasn't won yet, but I still like to bring it up. Airplanes, baseball bats, remote control cars, giant purple dongs! Some kind of situation where your character is playing with toys! This can be totally innocent, or SO TOTALLY NOT INNOCENT AT ALL! I'm an equal opportunity artist. I really have fun with cute stuff, but I'm all for everything else.
