I apologize, again, for my lack of updates and posts. Things had been getting hectic on my end. My schedule had been filled up between my full-time job, internship, and practically forced summer class (didn't want to take it, but had to in order to even participate in the internship). I haven't even had time to work on my own projects, or even doodle to have something posted on here. While everything is still going on, it's finally started to die down a bit, so I can breathe again, and am getting time to work on all the projects I wanted to do.
So since the last update from back in *glances at journal dates* jfc... okay, JANUARY, a few things had been going on.
I attended FWA, and sat in the Artist Alley for a good majority of the con. I really enjoyed it, and made some decent sales, which was a big confidence booster since ACE (who is asking for dealers again, and I don't suggest it until they make changes and learn to treat the dealers better). It was such a confidence boost, that I actually decided to try to get a regular Dealers Den space for FWA 2019. I'm still waiting on the results, but I'm crossing my fingers that I get it. But even if I don't get in, I will still attend, and go sell in the Artist Alley
At FWA, I got a lot of compliments on my flower crown, and it seems to becoming a popular thing (flower crowns, that is). I was hesitant of this at first, but I had debated taking on commissions of these ever since I had made it, but now I'm certain that I want to sell these. My flower crowns are very dense, flower-wise, and feature fauna ears that go over your own! I will be posting a picture of the one I made soon, so take a look! I'm probably going to take a couple on of these at a discounted price, just so I have more examples. So, keep an eye out for another journal about it!
I'm also getting ready to attend some future cons: Matsuricon (Anime convention), and FurReality. While I won't be selling in the artist alleys/dealer dens at these cons, I'm working on some fursuits/costumes for these cons. For those who were at AC this year, on Saturday, you might have seen me with my new character, Eek: skull mask with black facepaint, flower crown, fauna ears, and a deep red victorian skirt. That was just a preview of her, and wasn't completely done. While I have more parts of her finished recently, I still have one more thing to complete. I'm very excited to finish her up and show her to everyone.
Another suit I'm working is requested by a friend of mine, for a group cosplay for the movie "The Cat Returns"..... I'm making Muta! Unfortunately, since I had been lacking time, I've only recently started working on him, so he's going to be a rushed fursuit... not that this is the first time that I've had to rush a costume. Lol.
So please come up to me and say hello at any of these cons! I would love to meet you! (even if I'm a little shy and awkward)
In other news, I'm thinking of trying to do more Dealers Dens next year. I haven't decided which ones I will apply to, as I have to plan my vacation time carefully. I'm planning on selling more pins, t-shirts, and fauna flower crowns! Also going to try to do some Henna work as well, but I have to plan a bit more for that.
So that's about it for updates on what I've been up to.
I'm looking to be posting more, and draw more, and just give more content as things die down a tad. I'm going to be trying to start a Patreon for those who would like to support me and get exclusive stuff. More on that to come.

ACE and Updates!

Yet!
So over these past couple months, I had been stressing to get stuff done. I was going to be a dealer for the very first time, with my friend
bluefeatherkitten , at a brand new convention. I had gotten a couple
t-shirts done, I invested in a button maker and made buttons, some hand painted mugs, and I even printed out some art as prints! I was very excited, and very nervous.
Unfortunately, due to lack of good staff and communication, the whole dealers ordeal was not good. Lots of disrespect with my fellow dealers, and a bunch of furry drama stewing. Cramped unplanned room, hot conditions, looooong hours, and safety hazards... none of the Dealers were happy. The only good thing about everything was that most of the Dealers were good friends, and looked out for each other... as the staff didn't seem to. TFW you got to hang out with Senpai 👌👌👌👌
Anyways, despite having a bad experience here, I'm not deterred from trying again. At FWA, I will be aiming for the Artist Alley for a couple days, and hope to sell most of the rest of my merch, as my sales werent as good as I had hoped they would be. I will also be making my merch available, here on FA, so keep an eye out!
I know I haven't posted on here in a while, and I mainly blame the stress of trying to get everything done for ACE. It really drained the energy out of me...
But!
I'm working on finishing up all things I owe, and will be revamping!
I had to quite my second job due to going back to school full time. My income as severely been hacked, and I find myself just barely able to pay my bills. So I will be focusing on trying to get more art out there! More YCHs, more auctions, MORE PRINTS!
I will be posting my revamped prices soon, and will also be reposting my Fursuit commission information! Im very excited to be starting these up again, and very excited to share it with all of you guys!
So keep an eye out for future posts!

I have a couple bills coming up, and although I just got a new job, I wont be starting for another week or so. So i barely have enough for one of these bills...
So I'm offering $15 FullBody Sketches. I'm also willing to do $10 Badges: colored, laminated, and shipped out to you (no clip)
I'm in a bit of a tight spot, and you don't have to help me. But I will fully appreciate if you do.

Quit my Job: an act of self-love

I DID IT.
I QUIT MY JOB.
I know I haven't posted a lot in the last few months. I've been going through some really troubling moods and thoughts, that I had recently correlated with my job. I know all jobs have some form of stress, but it shouldn't be pushing to the point of debating suicide by the time the day ends.
I know it's not all because of work. I have always been teetering in my emotions and thoughts, and always penting up about the things around me. But being here, I slowly stopped taking care of myself, and started to isolate myself even more from people, and started to snap at the ones I love. All I can think about as everything buzzes through my mind is "Escape--- I have to escape---"... and many times, suicide had come up as some of my desperate options, and sometimes it felt like it was my ONLY option. I always managed to pull myself out of it, thinking about all the trouble it will cause, and how many people would be upset... but what if it happens again, and I decide not to care about being selfish like that?
So, in an act of trying to do an act of self-love, and work on self-development, I quit my job.
It's a little stressful to think that I don't have a backup income right now with all the bills, but I at least have a month's worth of bills saved up, thanks to over 40 hours of overtime in the past month. But that's in case I don't get hired within that time. I am actively putting in applications, and I have backup plans from there.
As I reach my last days, I've started to feel a little hope grow within me, and I'm grasping on as tight as I can.
On a lighter note, as I'm about to have free-time, I will be posting adoptables and YCHs in the near future, so keep an eye out!

and I decided that we wanted to do a bit drawing tonight, but with a catch! While we are drawing, we're gonna play a drinking game amongst ourselves, involving offering freebies and donations!
During the stream, the artists will be casually drinking some screwdriver drinks to get the ball rolling, with our microphones on. There are different ways to get the artist to get further drunk:
If you've read the above, you saw "**** choice". YOU get to choose what we drink. Shots will only be alcohol, but the BIG CUP can have either alcohol, or non-alcoholic drinks.
IF YOU FAIL TO FOLLOW THE RULES, THE ARTISTS WILL BE FORCED TO HAVE A SHOT OF WATER AND EAT POTATOES (Don't ask why we have potatoes....)

Possible Future Fursuit Raffle?

So I have to do some repairs on a previous customers head, but I was thinking of holding a raffle for a "pay only for materials" partial fursuit. As opposed to about $400 for my normal partial (head, handpaws and tail), this would bring it down to somewhere between $200-100.
Would anyone be interested in such an event?

I've been missing for a few days.... pretty much everywhere on the internet, and even at home. I recently just got home from house-sitting for a family friend; it was nice to practically have a place to myself... despite it being relatively lonely.
I also recently got hired with a company called "Vitamix", you know, the popular blender producing company.
On top of this job, I kept my job at Outback Steakhouse, due to the need to feel loyal, good pay, free/ half-off food, and now lack of workers in my section.
So, with now being full time at Vitamix, and sudden boost in hours at Outback, I will not be around a lot, and probably won't have a lot of free time.
But, rest assured, whatever free time I do get, I will be using to get caught up on commissions, and perhaps even work on some personal pieces in between.
Please understand that I'm trying really hard, and will be exhausted, but will be doing my best to get stuff I owe done. <3

Today, August 11th, I turn 23. I've been saying I'm 23 for just about half a year, so it hardly is having an effect on me XD;
Not sure I'm gonna really do much.. All I know is that I look forward to eating my birthday salmon ouo *drools* and also seeing my bf... Considering his track record for questionable gifts, I kinda dread thinking about what he got me considering he asked if I had baby oil.... Oh boy...
Still working on commissions. Been hitting a bit of an art block that I'm slowly over-coming. I promise I am working on them, though!

So I've been wanting to get a bit more practice on winged animals for a while so I decided to offer some opportunity for some sketches!
Only $5 for one! I'll be taking as many as this in as I can, and I don't have a set date for this to end yet, but it's not for forever. Get one while you can!
Rules:
~ they will be sketches ONLY.
~ your character of choice MUST have wings in it's original appearance.
~ any gender
~ sketches range from waist shot to full body
~ they also might vary from traditional and digital dragon, depending on my mood.
~ artistic freedom of pose-- wings WILL be made visible (since that's the whole purpose of this offer)
~ any style of wings are accepted, whether different types of birds, bats, dragons, insects, etc.
~ please read my TOS as it still applies
