It was on my way to work, at 6:30 in the morning. On a long straight passage trough a forest, I had three cars behind me and some contraflow traffic in the distance. Because of the contraflow I had low beam on, then I saw this racoon appearing in my headlights. The moment when Adrenalin kicks in and all went bullet time, I put my second hand back on the steering wheel(I have a middle arm rest which tend me to drive in a comfort but not save manner). First thought: "Brakes?" No! Someone behind you and with 80Km/h (50mph) already too late. Second thought: "Steering?" No! With the contraflow and this speed chances are too high for even more damage.

Only the front wheel made a little "bump".

I still feel sorry for this little fella but after thinking of it over and over again I think I did the right thing.

I signed a contract for a new job today. After 5 month of unemployment I finally did it. And after 12 years of work for a renewable energies company, I still save this planet with my work. For the new company I gonna build ventilation system with heat recovery to reduce CO2 emission.
