I’ve been wanting to make journals more frequently but I’ve totally forgot to actually write when I’ve had something on my mind.
I have some information about commissions in the next year!
Commissions will be closed for the rest of the year!
I have a batch that needs to be finished, and some long overdue trades to do.
But I might make some adoptables if you all are interested!

I thought I'd update you guys on how I am and what has happened lately.
So, I haven't taken many commissions or sold characters in a while, because yes, once again, PayPal has limited my account.
Now I sent them all the information that I got on myself to prove I'm real, and their answers took weeks to arrive...
With that being said, I haven't dared to take any more payments as long as the PayPal account was limited.
So I'm sorry for those who have asked lately about characters or commissions. I have also been so busy that I've completely forgotten to reply! :o
Now, it looks like my PayPal is back up and running! Hopefully I can continue selling characters and taking on commissions!
My summer has been fine! It was actually good to be out of the walls of social media, and concetrate on having fun and relax.
Now, I'm trying to stay positive!

First off, I just wanna say... I'm not feeling too well.
A few days ago, I lost my first and dear pet cat Billy. He passed away at 16 years old.
It really did take a big toll on me. I've been feeling depressed and tired ever since.
I'm not usually here to rant or vent much, but I just feel like you guys deserve to know what's going on,
and why I'm not posting anything/being active much.
I am trying my best to keep my art up, it might be slower than normal, but it's coming, I promise.
On a lighter note, the concert did well, I was actually very happy for doing it, and for discovering a new passion of mine.
I wanna keep doing this more often, indeed. Maybe start taking vocal classes... I just need to man up before that, ha.
Also, I got super tired and drained after the concert as well, and when Billy passed away ontop of that, it kinda made me hit rock bottom.
Not sure on how long I will feel like this, I hope it'll go away soon.
What I've learned from all my years of being depressed is when you get better, you will find out how it is to feel depressed every now and then, but you're happy it's not constantly as before.
I won't be like this forever, but I have no control of how long it'll take. I think a good rest will be what I need for now.
I wanna thank the friends I have for supporting me to the fullest, what would life be without you? <3

My hobby isn’t only art... it’s also singing... I have never talked about this to anyone, just recently I told it to a close friend. In daytime I’m at a place where people meet and hang out, and one day one of the people running the place asked me if I liked to sing. And I’ve been hiding it for so many years. Mostly because I never could believe in people who told me I had a nice or good voice. I can take compliments on my art, but I feel when it’s about my singing it’s a lot more personal. I’ve never liked myself. Not at all. So I never liked my own voice when I sing. But that day I let him fool me into singing... and it felt so good. I only sing when I’m alone drawing and etc. never in front of others. But now... it’s something else standing with the microphone, jamming with a guitar... it feels good. I feel at home. So now I stumbled into saying yes to sing at a local concert. It’s not a big concert (thank gosh), but still, it’s a concert and it’s tomorrow. I’m gonna sing for a crowd tomorrow.
I’m super nervous but, also happy it’s happening too. It’s like a therapy of some kind. Trying to accept myself for who I am and how I sound. I love singing.

She was there the whole time
General | Posted 7 years agoOk so this is kind of a continuation (?) of my last journal.
I had a really bad day yesterday as I wrote it.
Today, after looking through all my characters that I own, I noticed...
She was there the whole time and I was kinda blind for it, searching for new ones.
Ita was the start of it all, there can't be a better fitting character for me than her as of now.
This was my start out sona. Yes, she was the first design of Gradie, back wayy before I let the nsfw popularity of FA take over, making me change her into the Gradie today..
She's here, she's always been there and I'm so happy I actually did make her into a separate character.
I love Ita. Though, I'll change one thing about her, her name.
She will carry the name of Rin, because she's personal enough for me.
She will now become Rin, not Rinette, just Rin.

But what I do now, is that I still (after SO many years) have trouble finding myself.
Not only personal, but ESPECIALLY in a fursona/character. Yes, yes, I do know that your fursona doesn't HAVE to be 100% you.
Like waah, I had Gradie as my sona since 2011, and she WASNT ME, like at all, she was something I 'wanted' to be in my insecure teenage years.
But I'm sure (if you've followed me ever since the gradiewoof days), you've heard all about that right? So I won't soap your head with all that jazz. But like what I'm trying to say here, is that, ever since parting ways with her, I've been having mad troubles finding a sona that I can relate to. Now, I know this isn't something I should stress with, considering it's something I need to take the time to figure out, but at the same time, I feel like I need a character to lean on, to draw in my own life related stuff.
It might be that I have tried all the wrong species, colors, designs, shapes in the past, but I know for a fact that I relate more to a canine, and it being blonde, as I am naturally blonde (and actually slowly but surely getting back into being blonde). I don't want it to turn out to be a second Gradie, but if you remember her, her 3 colors; chocolate brown, caramel beige and creamy white are my favorites, because it defines me. I like the cream-ish colors, but I can't seem to ever get them to fit as well as I did with Gradie back in the day.
Gradie was so easy to make, she was something I wanted to be (also inspired by the people I used to hang with, which were pretty much bimbos), so she was super easy to put together for me. I didn't have to look deep into myself. The only few things Gradie had, that I related to, were her eyes (green/blue, mine are a mix of both colors), her blonde hair, and her nationality.
But what I wanna keep in a character is it being a canine, it being a female, blonde, feminine but not a replica of Gradie.
I can't seem to connect with other colors than the natural brown/beige/white, as it defines me (I know I said it earlier lol).
Also I don't wanna give my sona the current body type I have, (not because it's nesceserily bad, but the weight I've gained in the last 4 years are all coming from my depression, which is something I don't wish to be reminded to). I wanna give her the actual natural body type that I had before falling into my depression, and the one I'm trying hard to get back into again.
I don't want this sona to be 100% me either, considering I wanna use her for art and stuff, I don't wanna feel the need to protect her like a guard dog because it's so damn uncomfortable when sexual role players online are using her as some kind of slut when she's supposed to be all me... it's terrible. Buns was me, and Eira the goat was me, and I don't really relate to them anymore.
As most long journals, I don't know where I'm going with this... lmao
But yeah I'm having a hard time, so I hope you guys won't find me anoying for making new characters all the time and then abandoning them.

General | Posted 8 years agoI think with this art block it's more of me not knowing where to go with my art. Like I don't have a way I wanna lead my style and improve in it. I love drawing girly stuff the way I did of course, but I think I've grown out of that kinda style... I dunno. Like my art a year ago was a lot better than what my work is now. It's an art block for sure, but also it's come to a point where I dunno where to go. Do I wanna go with the cute chibi art or do I wanna continue my girly style or do I wanna change it completely? I wanna follow my own way, my own opinions and my own mind when it comes to my art. Other people's opinions shouldn't matter at all. Of course, I am super happy when people like my art and the way I do it! It's just that I need to stop listening to everyone else but myself when it comes to the right path. Right now I'm stuck into it, maybe I need a
little time to experiment and see what is right for me and whatnot.
As for commissions and the PayPal issue, there are some solutions, but as of now, in the middle of moving and spending my money on important stuff I can't do anything about it now. Whether I wanna change payment sites or make a new PayPal or whatever. I need time in both. But for sure I won't open for any type of commissions in a while. I simply have no way to receive money for it. The only commissions I'm planning to take for the future is point commissions through DeviantArt. I don't know when that will be. Probably after holidays if not earlier. I have no info about that yet but it'll come later on when I've put more time into planning it.
I hope everything goes well. At least I can say I'm happy I found somewhere to live by myself. So for now I wanna focus on that. And I can't wait to show you all my new home! I'm deffo gonna give you guys a house tour when all is ready! Ahh the excitement!
So I hope you all know that I have a lot in my mind right now and that I need to step back a little to take bit by bit. I can't keep going like I used to, it just makes my art worse and worse. So for now, I will have to relax.
