Personal Update
So my new job is a nightmare. I started 30 hours a week and my manager talked me into 24. I asked for 3-8 hour shifts and her reply "well I just can't do that. how about 24 over 4 days?" I agreed but I wanted my off days together so I could do art and not lose your interest. I've worked hard to have a small but very much appreciated fan base and it hurts to see it vanishing in just a few months. She said she would but obviously that hasn't happened. My job is very physically and mentally exhausting. My shifts are all over the place to the point I don't know when I'm coming or going and my off days are different each week. It's been horrible and I've talked to her several times about it but she just doesn't care or try. She bends over backwards to accommodate the other workers but not me. Working there has made my depression even worse and I don't have the energy for anything anymore--and my energy levels were already incredibly low. So, sorry it's taken so long to tell you guys this, but there it is u_u I'm going to try to get a new job after xmas (don't want a seasonal job). There's more issues too but I'll leave it at that.

Edit: oh here's a fun one, my manager makes me skip breaks and has had me get my lunch after legal hours (ie it has to be done before 7 hours and i've had it at 7 and a half) and when i said something she just replies with "well how do you think i feel? i don't get my breaks" it's like...k that's a you problem. I have medical needs. you want me to faint and have to go to the hospital lol

life's been crazy since i started my job, my schedule's all over the place to the point where i don't know if i'm coming or going, what day or time it is etc, and it's been so draining that if i'm not working i'm sleeping. ah plus i was in an accident and got messed up for a few weeks. but bills don't care about my woes so /shrug

I'm sure to those who watch me close and have had dealings with me on a more personal level (like commissions or note conversations) it has not gone unnoticed that my communication, turn around time, and art quantity have all been declining, here's why:
• To start with, I've been undergoing a lengthy test period for adhd meds which didn't seem to do enough, but when I'd go off of them for a few weeks it was incredibly noticeable to the point where I could hardly function.
• Been dealing with my visa, just got it back so that's good and finally done with
• Been job hunting for ages
• And, on a very bleak note, I hit a rock bottom with mental health which resulted in the most extreme depression I've ever felt (and that takes some doing) and most erm suicidal I've ever felt--obviously I didn't act on it although the urge was there.
I want to apologise for how crappy I've been at replying, and want you to know how thankful I have been to have steady commissioners and followers. I've been on the fence about doing this journal because I never want to come across like I'm e-begging or attention seeking or anything like that. Everyone has their own challenges in life and mine are no more important than someone else's.

The important part:
I've been job hunting relentlessly. Trying to find something I'd be happy to do for the rest of my life. I'm very thankful for having been able to squeeze by on art but it just isn't enough anymore, I struggle to make the minimum for bills so I have to do what I have to do! I did find one, but at the moment I'm not sure when I'll be starting, maybe after xmas? (art teacher, have to wait until after term) so that means another month or two of commissions. Provided the job works out I'll still do art, however I will probably take on fewer commissions. And, speaking of commissions, I'd like to not do adopts this month, but will potentially do a final batch next month. So, instead, I'll be posting a journal shortly about what I'm currently offering. Of course, if there's little interest then I will do some more eggs, but possibly a smaller selection.

Going to start between 7pm and 9pm range (uk time, if you’re in America I am approximately 5-7 hours ahead of you depending on where you live)—probably closer to 9, depends on my snakes! I will be working on design commissions, miscellaneous arts for myself, and in stream commissions if anyone is interested in that! In the bleak light of a cool and misty Saturday morn I awoke, yet again, with chest pain. It had happened off and on all night so, after a long debate, I thought it best to go to the hospital. Upon arrival things went surprisingly smooth. I got checked in and ushered to the correct waiting area where I awkwardly awaited my doctor’s call. As I waited I heard a terrible cry. It was like the yowling of a banshee, ‘aaaaHhhhhhhh! AAAAHHHHHHH! Aaaahhhhhh!!’ The banshee wailed in the way only a proper ham could. Laying it on thick for more attention. Quiet when she knew she was alone. But things are what they are and I paid little mind to her. One thing I did pay attention to was this woman who was being very loud and arguing with the nurses. Next think I know she beats the nurse with her bag and the security is called to haul her away all because she didn’t want to wait in the room??
I go get an ekg done blood tests another ekg, then I’m back in this super tiny room waiting on the results. Ah what’s this? A woman with her toddler appears and the kid won’t stop crying. I’m compassionate at first, it’s sad such a tiny life has to go through so much pain. However as the minutes drag on and I look at her, I notice she isn’t crying she has been fake crying this entire time, you know the kind of fake crying. Well it’s annoying and my ears are popping and super sore but she is outta there eventually. I’m starting to feel like I’ve gotten a cold in addition to my other problems.
Finally a nurse comes in to take another blood test, alas she blows my vein out! It is super fuckin gross. She fails her mission so she sends in another nurse. Ahah! Another fail! So finally a third nurse comes and it’s done. What’s this I’m getting wheeled into the overnight ward but I’m not suppose to be staying overnight D;
After much pussyfooting around they decide I am for sure staying overnight ( which is gross). Everyone in this room has sleep apnea. The person in the bed next to me is fucking insane and keeps muttering in incoherent demon baby gargoyle language and won’t stop. Through the gurgles I can make out one or two words occasionally and it is just utter nonsense. He also shat himself because he was pissed off the nurses took too long to help him.
I’m typing this on a very uncomfortable bed that is sticky after my hand tube fell out and I took a leak in the most disgusting shit encrusted toilet I’ve seen in awhile. I’m not allowed out of this over packed room. I can’t get away from the apnea and the angry lunatic growls. And I keep asking myself what did I do to deserve this??
Next time I have chest pain I’m just going to let the fucking heart attack end me

It’s been one hell of a week so it makes sense it has to be ended like this.

So I've always wanted to share this story but never did.
This guy that i use to work with (he quit) honest to god believed i was the son of satan. Yeah sure I have plugs, tats, and a mohawk, but it wasn't my appearance that got him to believe I was the antichrist.

Ya see, I corrected him on sanitation once in awhile and he was one of those guys that can't take being corrected. This guy handled raw chicken, dropped his hat on the floor picked it up and put it back on his head, handled cooked meat for a customer, some different meat for a kid, all without changing his gloves. One day he dropped a whole chicken and plopped it in a container to take out to the hot island, all i did was ask which one it was so I could mark it out of the system right away and he started swearing at me and yelling. He threw shit around n whatever whatever.

The lady he talked to said he prayed for me every night, and on the days i was nice to him it was god working through him to fix me. And on days I was mean to him (ie hey which one needs to be marked down? ) it was satan overcoming my soul??

The additional funny part about all this, good portion of you know my actual name is damian, a manager calls me omen. So heeheh I don't think he ever saw that film but god if he did i think i'd be kidnapped and taken somewhere for an exorcism lolol

So i ment to post a journal about this last week but somethin freaky happened to me the 27th.
I was at a cafe and was heading somewhere to meet up with my friends, it was about 8 at night and it snowed a bit so it was a little slippery but not too bad. Well i drove up college av (downtown) and followed the street over a viaduct. I took it slow and easy knowing to be careful and i started going downhill. I went from 15/20 to somewhere between 35-40, i tried to slow down but my car was having none of it. My break lights went on and my car swerved and fishtailed almost hitting the van next to me. I knew i couldn't stop for the lights that turned red up ahead so I started honking my horn.
I honked it many times, if i had thought of it at the time I would have turned my emergency lights on. Anyways no cars moved except for this one
stupid fuckin dumb bitch in a big van. She started pulling forward. I was a cars length away from her, lined up dead center with the middle of her van, she was inchiiiing along slowly, somehow i pulled my car around, lined up vertically next to her van-didn't fishtail WHEN I WAS ON ICE- had about two three inches in between our car, went steered my car around the back of her van narrowly missing hitting a truck, and I thought oh thank FUCKIN GOD now i can at least throw myself into a ditch to stop my car, but i hit a small patch of snow and my car straightened out close to the curb without me really doing anything.

I can't comprehend how I didn't hit that van when i was going so fast and on ice, i'm quite flabbergasted but HEY I"M NOT COMPLAINING.

Then a few days after when i was at work this weird lady walks up to me and asks "how are you doing today" i reply " oh well ok" she cocks her brow and dips her chin giving me a really look "that's not what god's telling me" she states I'm thinkin oh lordy not one of these peoples then I reply " well i'm a little tired" she continues to give me a brow raise and replies "well god's telling me you're very special. oh yes, he says he's lookin after you real close, he's keeping you safe, he kept you safe from that car. He's tellin me you're very special and not to worry." She nods " oh and don't let those people get to you, don't listen to them"

So that was pretty weird. A very freaky coincidence. I don't normally put much stock into things like that, but that one made me go oooh wow jeeze.
