I'm back
General | Posted 3 years agoAfter hiking 2650 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada, I am finally back home!
Technically I have been home for more than a week but I am taking things very slowly.
This trip to the US has been an amazing experience, I can't even try to sum it up in a few words. While there wasn't a single moment when I wanted to go home, I was definitely missing drawing towards the end!
Speaking of which, I jumped back to art as soon as I got back to my desk. However I don't know when my next finished piece will be. Currently I'm just letting all my ideas out, sketching, practicing stuff, experimenting. I'm catching up with the world, eating well after months of trail food, and I'll have to find a new job at some point.

Hiatus

From now until possibly September i will be travelling, so I’m not sure to what extent I’ll be able to draw. Maybe I’ll do a sketch here and there, maybe I’ll be super productive, maybe I won’t upload anything for 6 months?
As a goodbye I have uploaded a sketch dump of things I’ve been working on that I found shareable. I don’t upload a lot of things in general despite drawing every day, because most of what I draw is either too personal, too uninteresting to share, too sketchy or too practice-y. I have so much to learn, as it has only been three years since I’ve started drawing. So in my mind I’m still in beginner practice mode!
Anyway thank you very much for your interest in my stuff, it’s always super validating to read your comments even if I don’t answer!

Cloudjumping page releases

I will be uploading a page every few days. I've seen many good comics stay desperately unfinished, so I waited until I completed the whole thing before starting to upload it. At least, save for a few tweaks here and there. While all 7 pages get uploaded I will be working on a bonus page, which will be a big, single panel, in two versions (clean and messy, maybe you can guess what happens?).
At first it was supposed to be only pages 2 and 3, but I decided to be ambitious and to surround it with a full comic. I'm happy to present you with this project, this has taken a lot of work and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it
