Sui Generis - Please Read
Posted 13 years agoOkay, so I seldom post to FA, and I don't have that many who read my posts, but I know that those who do, tend to be gamers and have a kit more watchers than I do, so I'm hoping they'll repost this and help out what I believe is a game on Kickstarter that has a LOT of potential.

Sui Generis is an adjective borrowed from Latin, meaning "of its own kind/genus" or "unique in its characteristics" [Wikipedia] and is an aptly suited name for this game.
Please check it out, they have three videos on Kickstarter covering combat and physics. If you like the idea of the game, please repost something like this to help drum up support. If you love the idea of this game, please help donate as well.

OMG I love and hate this book!
I love it because I love Kyell Gold's style of writing. I hate it because I don't want to put it down when I get to work, and I need to focus on my work at work, and not on the book x.x.
The world Kyell Gold depicts reminds me of Brian Jacques' "Redwall" series, with a grown-up twist. Where in "Redwall" we saw and stark depiction of good v.s. evil, "Volle" highlights issues of love and loyalty.
As usual with his work, I find myself skimming over the yiffy scenes (don't get me wrong they're good!) just so I can continue with the plot and character development...(course it usually means I miss something so I go back and read the yiffy scenes, lol).
I highly recommend Volle, as well as "Waterways", also by Kyell Gold.
Buy his books and support this great author!

It's interesting really...I called my BF tonight, pretty stressed out, thinking about breaking up with him...and thay we talked, the honesty of it may have saved our relationship. On 6/9 I was looking to purchase the Samsung Messenger r450 in Red, and was pleased with the $169 price. On 6/10 I was paid, and in the morning the phone's price was still $169. When I got to a computer to actually buy the phone 3 hours later, the price was showing $199. There was, however a starburst that still stated "$30 Off! Originally $199". There are two bits of information needed here. One, I need a phone with a QWERTY keyboard as I have a form of muscular dystrophy that affects the hands (it's abbreviated CMT). Second, I work a minimum wage job, and while I can afford the phone plan, dropping $200 on the phone makes things much harder on me. I contacted the customer service via chat, and was told me the promotion ended 3 days ago (on 6/7). I then was told there was nothing that could be done and to contact customer service via phone. I then did that, and sadly didn't write down the reps ID#. She told me there was nothing that she could do and when I asked to speak to her supervisor she asked to put me on hold, then the call was mysteriously disconnected. At this point, I once again contacted customer service via chat and explained my situation. I was very pleased that the rep contacted their supervisor at my request, and I was told that my issue was being escalated, and directed to this form.
As I desperately need a phone, I'll be shelling out the $200 for the phone.
To recap:
I'm not pleased with having to shell out $30 more than advertised, and if there's anything you can to to refund that $30, it would be -greatly- appreciated ($30 buys a lot of food).
I was initially dismayed with the chat and phone customer service, but my experience with the second chat rep is what made me decide to complete the purchase with Metro and not go to a competitor.
I know that you must receive a whirlwind of these forms, I hope only that you hear my voice in the wind and can do something to help me.

I don't recall, I think I was sleeping in bed.

Single.
3) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
Not really this year...
4) How did you earn your money?
Working at Dolphin Scuba. Despite how much I bitch about it, I really enjoy the job and the people there.
5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
YES! Infectious Mononucleosis. Throat was hurting like hell, and then they give me Amoxicillin...
6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
Nope
7) Where did you go on holidays?
Spent most of them with Jason ^^

Nada

Anytime I +Fav someone's work, I'm gonna comment their work with why I faved it ad what I liked about it.
This should reduce my number of impulse fav's and force me to really look at the art itself, and not just the picture (that make sense?).

I found it!
I wasn't looking for something new, but finding who I was...
I've realized that I haven't been my self lately. There's a person who's the object of my affection, and instead of being myself, the same 'me' that I like, and the same 'me' that the object of my affection first met, I've been this completely different person because I so desperately wanted to be the person I thought they wanted me to be, and by trying to that I became someone I didn't want to be, and someone they likely didn't know.
So the old me is back (boy is this sounding like split personalties, lol)
If you knew me back around 9 months ago, that's who I'm going to become again. I was happy when I was myself, and that is who I was, and am now. ^_^
I'm back biatches!
