Day 12
Posted 3 hours agoAs I woke there was no time to ponder, as a note was left for me requesting my service ASAP. So after a quick bowl of my favorite cereal I took a moment to get dressed and headed off to heed the call. The destination: my local food bank. When I arrived it was much more understaffed than usual, and I wasted no time getting to work keeping things stocked and keeping a close eye on the clients.
At times like these where many people are losing their jobs to layoffs along with support programs being cut left and right, it's become clear how necessary it is the service our food banks provide. Unfortunately, these services are now on the chopping block as funding gets cut off; so to my fellow Americans, whenever you have free time, go volunteer at your local food bank. In these trying times it can make all the difference between someone being able to eat for the week and that not being the case. Not only that, but such volunteering also helps build up our local communities and healthier social connections.
In regards to the Month™, nothing horny occurred today.

Day 11
Posted a day agoI hope everyone had a good Veteran's/Armistice Day, but just because it's a holiday doesn't mean my loins are letting me rest any easier.
So when I mentioned staying in full control last night, that was put to the test this morning when I began to wander and imagine new concepts for that inflation game I wanna make. That, interspersed with thoughts from a different kink game I'm following along with, led to the biggest incidental stiffy so far this Month™. I was able to rein it in however by replacing those thoughts with that of breakfast; one's gotta eat if one wants to maintain a clear mind.
Afterward came the controlled burn: I'd thought it a good idea today to catch up on the submissions again, but there was so much good... material, I was really cutting it close with my viewing of it all. Next time I need to be less... physical... about this.
The rest of the day was smooth sailing: I kept myself busy listening to a CD I'd recently purchased at my local retro store, while I picked nuts from my backyard, the really big nuts reminding me of my own which are beginning to feel swollen and sensitive with all the built-up tension.

Day 10
Posted a day agoPosting this one late because of FA's downtime last night.
One third of the way there now, and you know, I thought by now I'd be starting to regularly feel the effects of being pent up, but as long as I find other things to do and not let my mind wander off, I'm fully in control right now.
Today's distraction from thinking about my kink involved working on an exhaustive table for a potential rebalance idea for a game I play a lot. You know how in some action RPGs the endgame can get really rough where you're taking massive damage every time you get hit, even with a tanky build? Well, if your armor stat is only a flat reduction of the damage you take, it won't matter as much when you're at the point you can't raise it much further and the enemies are still doing 3-4 times that in damage and still capable of killing you in two or three hits. But what if your armor stat had an extra percentage-based damage reduction? Suddenly, the same amount of armor will allow you to survive extra hits against the same foes. Of course some damage values would have to be adjusted to accommodate such a drastic change in an important system, but in the long run it would make tank builds much more viable in those endgame situations.

Day 9
Posted 3 days agoMostly uneventful and uninspired throughout the day. I ended up participating in a public playtest for a game making some fundamental changes, before spending most of the day watching two sports.
On the subject of games, however, I will be honest. Each night after writing up these logs, I browse the latest inflation topics on the Weight Gaming forums, looking for potential games with inflation being the main focus. There's just not enough of those around that are of quality, and it's making me consider continuing to write out the design doc for such a game of my own. However, I must exercise caution with my ideas lest I begin pitching tents all over the place.

Day 8
Posted 4 days agoIt was a day full of excitement. I nearly jinxed myself with yesterday's log, as the following dream had yet another inflating character, this time more vivid than any of the preceding ones and I ended up blowing my load... in the dream. Thankfully in the real world my underwear stayed dry, though that does raise the question of where hypno-spatial emissions fall in regards to the Month™. For the sake of sparing everyone the philosophical headache, I'm gonna say those don't count.
In my waking hours, I kept myself preoccupied with some mid-day gaming before going to a friend's place to watch the most clutch game of hockey I've ever seen; my team scored the tying goal with less than 2 seconds in the game before proceeding to win in overtime. That game will surely stick around in my mind for far longer than any piece of fetish art, real or dreamed up.

Day 7
Posted 5 days agoOne week down, three and two days more to go. Today was the day I went and caught up with all the submissions I missed, which ended up being two sessions since I didn't want to risk pushing myself over the edge by doing it all at once. Going forward I may dedicate two days each week to catching up on the art.
On a different note, do you ever have one of those dreams where you're sitting down browsing fetish art and then you stumble across a really good artist with pieces that push all the right buttons? And then only after waking up do you realize that such art never even existed? I've had those before - last night, even - and I sure hope it doesn't cause me to fail the Month™ later on...

Day 6
Posted 6 days agoAlmost a week into the Month™, and I have a feeling only the sickness is keeping me from sprouting a stalk at random points in the day. I know I'll be in for it once I get better, which shouldn't be long now.
On the plus side, though, the weather was nice enough to finish up the Fall Cleanup, so I'll end up with much more free time starting tomorrow. Maybe I'll play some catch-up with the submissions I've been neglecting then.

Day 5
Posted a week agoYesterday, I was sneezing. Today, I'm coughing. It's hard to get horny when you're sick. Has anyone else noticed that? If anything, it ensures that I can go farther into the Month™ without issue.
Yeah, besides that, there's really nothing to say about this day.
Yeah, besides that, there's really nothing to say about this day.
Day 4
Posted a week agoAnd so it begins...
My latest dream featured a pixelated character in some platformer game on my computer. After "playing" it for some time, I saw one of the enemies - a featureless white blob - start shooting at the player character. When they got hit, they began inflating into an orb! And they would get bigger each time that enemy hit them! Thankfully I stirred awake soon afterward, because something in my gut tells me that these kind of dreams will only get more frequent, more intense, and harder to wake up from the further I push into the Month™.
Another important lesson was learned today about this challenge: don't get bored. At least when I get bored, my mind has a tendency to wander off, and the one time it did today it landed on a quite nefarious thought that stirred the loin up a little. Other than that, I've been keeping my mind busy with more yardwork and a prolonged stroll through downtown to deposit my ballot.
I've also ended up with a pretty bad cold and am going through the stuffy nose and sneezing phase. Trying to type this while the Nyquil is kicking in is proving difficult, but if anything, being sick may be advantageous for this month as my body will be putting its energy to fighting off the disease instead of stimulating for a relief of tension.

Day 3
Posted a week agoIt has been smooth sailing so far for the Month™. My mind is clear and my confidence is unshaken. However, I know it will only get more difficult as time goes on, and today reminded me of that not once but twice.
My dreams last night were all over the place, with a subtle glimpse of my turn-on material. If you hadn't guessed by my username and favs at this point, balloons are my thing; especially big, expanding, character-shaped ones. When I awoke, the first thing I noticed was a minor case of the Morning Wood, though that could easily be attributed to my frontside-down sleeping position. Still, it was my first semblance of an erection this month; rather noteworthy, I'd say.
Later on, as I finished my contribution to the Democratic Process, a History program was on the TV and one of the topics that sprung up was about the Thanksgiving parades in New York. You probably already know where this is headed, but did you know that one of the masterminds behind the iconic parade as we know it today was a puppeteer by the name of Tony Sarg? When his joyfully-crafted puppets and floats drew more than a million spectators in the 1930s, a problem arose that only those at the front were able to see the action. The solution: as a maker of marionettes, Sarg thought, what if he could make a marionette that dangled upward and was controlled from the ground? Introducing: the Parade Balloon, a giant puppet that floated so high, even when in the very back of the crowd you could look up over the heads of those in front of you to see it. Yep, it's hard to imagine that this fundamental staple of the Thanksgiving Day Parade (and the kink awakening of many on this site) came about thanks to one puppet master's ingenuity when presented with the dilemma of an event being too popular.
And as the TV presented that information to me, several scenes of these balloons flashed on the screen, and that's when I felt it: a slight tingling sensation down below. It wasn't enough to stimulate the ol' boy down there, but it was enough to show me how simple of a trigger I have for this kind of stuff. I can only hope when the real deal comes around after almost 4 weeks of pending up that I'll be able to handle it...

Day 2
Posted a week agoNothing of note happened as I keep my desires at bay, distracting my mind with more yardwork, being a priority this week since it's "Fall Cleanup", where they will pick up extra containers. A pleasant visit from relatives, along with Sunday's Game also helped to engage my mind away from those fantastical recesses.
Day 1
Posted a week agoHaving pulled it off just in the nick of time before the beginning of the Month™ (two minutes before midnight) and about as freshly relieved as one can get, I have been completely abstinent for the whole day.
Neither a single desire to entertain my fantasies nor stimulating thought entered my head as I toiled away at the fallen thorn balls and watched the sports of hard hits.
I know many before me have tried, and failed, to outlast the Month™. However I am not taking this challenge to brag, but rather out of curiosity to witness and document the experience one who regularly evokes the natural process would have when depriving themselves of said process.

✨🎈Revolution 27🎈✨
Posted 6 months agoAnother trip around Sol and still breathing. It's been a wild time this past year for this site, hasn't it?
Judging by the page header at the time of writing this, I'll be bombarded by submission dumps next time I log on. At least I used this downtime to finally watch some artists I've been meaning to.
In other news, I've made some good headway into an introductory comic for the world I've been building, so the hope is it'll be posted by the time I circle around the star again.
See ya 'round,

Food Poisoning...
Posted a year agoIt's the worst.
I spent half the day yesterday in the bathroom. Had blowouts from both ends. Couldn't do anything. I wasn't even comfortable eating soup.
I'm still not at 100%, but I'm feeling much better than I did yesterday.

Posted a year agoWelp, that's another year under my belt. Pretty disappointed, to be honest. I didn't get as much done as I'd have liked.
This year, however, will probably be different. Got stuff in the works, y'know?

Been a while, hasn't it?
Posted a year agoUm, yeah... remember when I said that I'd be doing more art about a year ago? Well, I guess that didn't really pan out all that well.
The short explanation: I'm lazy.
The long explanation: I'm just lazy.
HOWEVER, I have been chipping away at the world I've been building for the past few months and steadily picking up the pace on that. Might be another while before anything really comes out of it, but it's not gonna take another year, I can say that much.

Posted 2 years agoWelp. I'm officially the big two-five now.
Didn't get around to announcing it until way late into the day, but hey it's still my cakeday so whatever.
In other news, I got more stuff cooking and it should be ready soon™.

Back from vacay and the Big Reset
Posted 2 years agoHi there!
I just got back from a 10-day road trip, and I'm ready to start back up on this site again. Woo!
In other news, starting today I'm gonna attempt to pivot my life direction in what I call the "Big Reset." I felt like I've been stagnating ever since 2020, not socializing pretty much at all and producing at a very slow pace, rarely getting out of the house for anything other than work (which is part-time AND seasonal). I've been steadily evaluating what I've been doing these past few months, and what I want to do going forward, and my conclusion is that I have many, many ideas that float around in my head waiting to be jotted down on a piece of paper or computer, and it feels like I've been doing everything BUT taking those ideas out of my head. That all changes starting today. From now on I will try to be more productive with my time and more readily share whatever I create, whether it's here or otherwise.
I've got a couple things cooking up right now, but in the meantime, 291 SUBMISSIONS! Huff, I've got some catching up to do...

Archaic Animation Software
Posted 3 years agoSo I recently rediscovered an old vector animation program that I had received as a gift a long time ago, called Anime Studio 8. For those who are familiar with Moho, this is essentially that but way older.
I got this as a physical copy when I was still an impulsive, impressionable kid, and I never got into it enough to activate the product then. Now, with a calmer temperament and a more refined artistic vision, I decided to pick this back up and try to make some stuff with it, only to find out that I only have access to a 30-day trial of the software and that I can't redeem the serial number because Smith Micro - the company that owned the software then - no longer supports the product. Go figure.
I've been weighing a few options for the past couple of weeks:
1) Since Anime Studio went on to become Moho with a different company, I can try to contact that company to see if there's any chance that I can unlock this old version of the program through them, or just upgrade to Moho.
2) Pending the expiration of the trial period, since it's a physical disc copy, I could try to cheat the system by uninstalling and reinstalling the program to get another 30 days. That is, if I don't mind the words "Free Demo" being plastered all over my work.
3) I've essentially finished modeling a vector of a generic Balloonosaur, and am currently in the process of rigging for easy animation. Now I'm unsure if I am even able to export just the vector graphics, but if I can, I could just import the vector model I made to a different, free and open-source animation program. If I'm not and I decide to switch over anyway, I'm gonna have to start all over from the beginning.
4) If I wanted to get dubious, since this version of the program can technically be considered abandonware at this point, I could see if I could get someone interested in software preservation to crack the program for me. I'd be walking on the legal chalk line if I went this route, but I have my arguments for doing it.
I'd really be interested to hear any opinions you guys might have, so I can make a more informed choice to continue on with this. I'm starting to get the hang of it, and I actually think I'm gonna enjoy doing it if I can continue.

Lurker No More
Posted 3 years agoHi there.
I originally started this account to lurk among the Inflation community, and I did it in such a way that I never exposed myself for over a year now.
However, now that I've submitted my first batch of works, I've decided to open up the door to try and become more social on this site.
One side effect of my previous lurking is that now I have a HUGE backlog of things to fav and people to watch, so if my Favs page gets loaded with stuff from a year or two back, this is my explanation.
I also want to take the time to remind you that what I put on here is only a minor side project and will more likely than not be uploaded in infrequent batches.
I may use this journal feature as well to give shoutouts to things that I like that may be unrelated to this community.
