So... The horrors of black friday have gotten blacker here where I live. Apparently, while the grocery stores had it easy... Well, an employee at a local WalMart was trampled to death by customers who were too busy to get to the sales first to notice that they were stepping all over some dude who was probably more than willing to help in the first place.

Okay, just curious, but am I the only one who seems to not hear about most drama until it's over? I mean, I'm on daily, and sudden, I get a couple supposedly late drama-based meme pictures in my inbox. By the time I'm even partly aware of what drama started this, something else meme-like pops up in my inbox, and what I was looking into is old and dead news...

Similar things seem to happen on forums I frequent. One of the had a whole flame war started, resolved, mostly deleted, and a subsequent rule change in it in the 3-4 days I forgot to visit, and I don't even have a clue what this is all about.

Am I lucky or something to miss all this kind of crap, or am I just not well enough known to get pulled in like many others?

Just so everyone knows, turning 19 on the 19th! Which sucks as much as it rocks cause even though it's my birthday, I have no money nor a ride to go to the Magic: the Gathering, MorningTide prerelease that same day x_x

Anyway, just saying, gonna be my birthday, if you wanna get me something, either draw something for me, get a commission for me, or send me a month's rent :D Joking on that last part.

If anything, honestly, I'd like someone to draw an anthro version of one of my Pokemon Emerald teams. I call it the Zigzagoon Salvage Squad cause of their pickup ability, though it will be a Linoon squad soon enough so...

First there's the nameless, fearless leader, who's Serious in nature... She gets me the most healing items of the group, oddly. She must be drawn as a Linoon, please.
Second is Thief, who's Bashful, and finds the most X items... Ya know, x speed, x attack, whatnot.
Third is Snag, the Impish one, and coincidentally he's the one who picked up all my Great and Ultra Pokeballs.
Fourth is Gank, who's Brave, and just grabs a bunch of random things. He actually found me a King Rock his first pickup.
Fifth is Klepto, who's Calm, and she has gotten me a total of 10, yes, ten Gold Nuggets. No one else has picked any up yet, it's awesome.
And lastly, there's Yoink, the Hardy one. She's been much like gank, just picking up random stuff.

And yes, I'm serious in wishing for a pic of the whole team for my birthday, if anyone's willing. ^^

Alrighty folks, I'm trying to learn a bit more about animation and what not, and I see all these people with some sort of Flash program or another that they make their animations with.

What I'm wondering is; What program is it that's affordable but can let me do what I'm trying to do? Which is draw my own animation, with sound/music/whatnot in it. I mean, I've also seen a good number of folks say they drew their normal arts in Flash and I wanna know where to get it x_x

Found myself a nice studio apartment close to work, they take small pets so I can keep my cat, Bo. Working at a library right now, so... yeah, no new art.

I would like to see people color my line art! see how they would see the critters and characters. I'd also like to see folks come up with their own Vael based on the descriptions I've given in their pics.

Just keep in mind for the vael: Their main element and their main habitat have strong impacts on their colors, but the head pieces are always black for females, white for males.

I'm in a bit of an artistic dilemma. An idea I've been toying around with has only really half-formed, and I need a little help.

I'm doing a pic of six elements (Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Light, and Dark), with six creatures and weapons, one for each. Here's what I've got so far:

(Element: Animal/Weapon)
Earth: Snake/War Hammer
Fire: Lynx/Sword
Wind: Owl/Bow and Arrow
Water: ???/???
Light: ???/Depends on wielder(has ??? merged)
Dark: Bat/Depends on wielder(has Gun merged)

Any ideas? And something NOT cliched for the water please.

Life's a bitch. I need to find a job. I need to find a place to live. I'm not out of highschool yet. My older sister's job sucks and she's underappreciated at her work. My lack of job and place to live once my dad moves to another state is worrying my mother terribly and is not good for her health.

And I need to fix almost all of this within the next few months. Cause I don't want to be a bum, I don't want to move out of state, and I don't want to be another burden on my grandparents (my aforementioned sis is trying to move out for their sake.)

All of this is really digging a crater into my inspiration and motivation to make art.

And it also means there will come a time later this year where internet is not gonna happen on a regular basis like it does now.

... but have a tendancy not to have the common sense for them.

10. Yes, artists deserve the "ridiculous" prices they charge. Consider the fact that your average pic takes about four hours from sketch to final coloring: if you pay $40 that's $10 an hour. So no, $10 is not an appropriate price for a full-color, full length drawing.

It was this saturday... Had a good time, chatted, got dragged onto the dancefloor (twice) by some girls... Who're -MUCH- stronger than they look. That was awkward, let me tell ya. Can't dance for the life of me. Not around other people anyway.

The point of this deck is simple... All but one non-land card deals only 1 damage, thus 'poking' your opponent. And Statecraft is to keep you from taking combat damage. Statecraft also happens to be the most expensive (mana-wise) card in the deck. If you can't afford the Dual/Shock-lands, get pain lands. If you can't afford those, just replace them with more basics.

I don't build decks that win, I build decks that are silly and fun... When you're not playing against the kinda player who's all too serious about the game, that is.
