Other than my car spontaneously needing an exorcist on my way down, I had a pretty good weekend. Ended up sponsoring, which resulted in enjoying a hearty keg of Yuengling, while playing Cards Against Humanity at the late night lounge with my bros. Finally used up some gift cards I had for some delicious Olive Garden. Played a few crazy rounds of Magic on Saturday. All in all, a much more enjoyable con this year! A few gripes I still had, mostly with programming. I mean... seriously, who plans for food for the attendees, and then puts a crapload of panels at the exact same time as food?! For shame! But the fursuiter support more than makes up for the programming shortcomings, getting towels for the fursuiters, and doing what they could to keep the fursuit lounge running. Numbers are up this year too! I think it was like... 280?

All in all, had a good weekend with a few setbacks. Can't wait for MFF down the road.

I know I already have like, eight characters, but I've kinda been thinking of making a new one, since most of my characters are fanatasy setting/DnDish characters. Don't have a single character that is, like... "me", as in like, me furrifed. Pondering if I should do something like that. Probably a ferret, or a ferret-yote hybrid. Two species well known to fuck up your cheerios. I don't know. What do you guys think?

It comes out, EVERYWHERE this October. No delays for localization! It'll be 3DS exclusive, and will be 3D itself :D We finally get an improvement over the normal isometric, 3/4ths view!!
Oh, and the fire starter is an adorable looking Fennec. The grass starter looks to be a hedghehog, and the water starter to be a... frog. Yay for new mudkip...? personally, I will be getting version Y. Just calling it now.

Gave myself an upgrade, with a new laptop for conventions, and travels and such. Didn't get the one I initially wanted, got one similar, and so far, it's hauling like a beast, for only a 690.00 lappy (got a 20% discount out of that) I named it, Experiment. x3
Still don't see why folks were saying you can't game on a laptop yet o.0, My lappy's specs have Secondlife running on high, and it's been running Secondlife more efficiently than my desktop, by far. For now. Going to test Steam games when they finish downloading. Wish me luck!

I'd totally recommend it, next year for anyone who was on the fence about going. I had a blast, even though, I didn't suit as much as I should have, especially on saturday night and sunday afternoon. Maybe next year I'll be staying longer, and by associatopn get more time to suit, and goof around.

Grandad was doing well. He was recovering. He was getting a healthy weight back. Unofrtunately, when he was moved to physical rehab, they didn't transfer his medical instructions... including the part that says "daily dialysis treatment". v.v Uncle got a call on Friday... a plea for help. His last words we'll know of, were "Please save me. I'm dieing here. They're killing me." He passed away Saturday night, from complications of a blood infection. v.v He'll never move down to Florida like he wanted, or get back on the road that he was working so hard to reach. He was 83. I... need a hug.

So... I finally made it through my gaming playlist to start Elder Scrolls... and I gotta say... being a nordic lizard-man, who kills viking zombie mummies by shouting at them in dragon speak... feels as badass as it sounds.

Apparently, my grandfather had a heart attack Christmas Eve, and we only found out about it a few days ago.... He had to have triple-bypass done, and the surgery was successful, but they're still struggling to keep him stable enough to fix his other ailments, like removing his gall bladder. I'm scared, and hope he pulls through this... If he does, it sounds like he's going into assisted living, near my uncle down in Florida. And my other uncle from Montanna, is waiting like a ninja, waiting to come and grab and pawn anything and everything he can get his grimy hands on, the moment grandpa croaks. *sigh* I swear I'm cursed. Everyone around me keeps dieing. I feel like a lonely old man at the age of 22. I... I think I need hugs.

Honestly? It's a non-holiday for me. Pretty much has been since I was 15 or so. I was not a needy spoiled child, so parents, and relativbes strugghled to get ideas for things to get me... at several points my aunt gave me sports jerseys even though I despize, and loathe sports, especially football... Half of the holiday was mom screaming at dad, making him put up the tree and decorations, and preventing him from buying anything because she owned the bank account. If dad bought her a gift she would always be pissed, because he spent money (not the secret ploy of "ohhh, don't buy me anything", with the intention of recieving anything. She honestly did not want anything at all.). And as the years have passed so have a good portion f my family... I have an uncle living in Folrida, Montana, and Texas. One is a Jesus fanatic, one's a con artist, and the other never talks. Haven't seen any of them since I was 7.

Grandmother doesn't celebrate Christmas. Aunt doesn't know anything about me. Kinda know two of my cousins, but I'm not rich/ ritzy enough for them. So when I say there's no holiday, I mean it. It's me, dad, and brother sitting on a couch watching stupid movies, and eating ouyr normal weekly Sunday dinner.

The maximum of our spirit is a tiny little christmas tree on the coffee table, sitting next to a foam skull I have sitting out from Halloween that we haven't put away yet. lol

Also: Christmas Carols SUCK. Can't we have some new ones after 5000 years of Christmas?

I nwouldn't suggest gift exchanges either... I don't buy gifts for people and if you buy me anything I'll just feel guilty and cry because I wasn't thoughtful enough to get you something too. So, yeah. Please. anti-christmas gifts are fine, but no sappy sentimental hoo-haa. You'll just make me cry. In thew bad way.

I have not recently comissioned art for Eldritch the Coyote, River the Coyote, Mountain the Wolf, Rajo the Fossa, Rice the Ferret, and still don't have art of my female Eldritch genderbender: Fracture, yet, or my demon character, Melancholy. x: Does anyone have any ideas on who I can commission? preferrably toward a slightly darker art direction? Or someone who can do good pin-ups? Or is open for refs for Fracture or Melancholy? Usually by the time I log on most artists have closed their commission queues, so I don't know anyone open for commissions x:

For the future!: I will likely not attend FCN this coming year. I didn't enjoy it as much. it's a hallway con, and a very cramped, inefficient one at that... I'll be instead going to the fabulous FWA~ Where apparently the awesomeness goes on 24/7

So, it's looking like the room may be down to only three of us, and since I'm footing the bil, I'm running out of reimbursment. Please, if you know anyone who needs a room for MFF, please, please, don't waste, make haste, let them know someone has a room.

I know some of ya don't really like MLP. Would any of you prefer I seperate my accounts? One for Eldritch and my other furry characters, and a second one for Blunderstorm, and ponies? Or is it fine the way it is?
