So in light of my friends and I moving into a really nice rental, I figured it would probably be smart of me to sell some of my hoard of characters/designs/adopts just to not feel so dang wasted by all the funds that go into a move.
HOWEVER
I never anticipated ever selling any of my characters so I didn't really keep track of their prices, ahaha.
THEREFORE
Instead of spending hours upon hours upon hours of searching for each and every single characters' price, I figured instead of a different tactic: People could look through the hoard and then tell me which specific ones they are interested in! Knowing which ones people want, I could then go and focus my search on THOSE SPECIFIC characters' prices, eliminating any wasted time on characters that people might not have had any interest in. After finding the prices, I could then let whomever know and they could then decide if they wanna purchase or not!
That would mean, of course, that there might be instances that people find out a price and decide it's not worth it. THAT'S OKAY. I would like to reiterate that you should not at all feel bad or guilty or anything like that if you decide you want to decline after hearing the prices! Seriously, I understand! There might be some that I decide I don't want to part with as well, but as of the moment, I think I've labelled out most of those.

I'm really happy no one new applied to it so I didn't have to decline past that due date! Thankfully all the entries are fair and square despite my TAKING AGES TO ROLL THE WINNER.

How have you all been!?
Life has been a whirlwind this past year, but it's been pretty gd amazing! I got rid of the toxic abuser out of my life, my career has expanded, I'm getting back into paying freelance music gigs, another best friend moved in with us, I got an award in an acting gig, I'm nearly done with my programming degree, I've made a FUCKTON of hella progress on Beaumadi (more than I ever did prior to this past year, combined) now that I'm doing it solo, and I've been slowly getting more confident with my art (but there's still a very long way to go in that regard-- any progress is great though)! There's been a ton more, but I am having a brain fart at the moment, plus I've droned on enough, haha.

I've reactivated my account out of necessity. I figure you all deserve an explanation first though, one that I might not really feel comfortable releasing, but I feel it's the right thing to do after seeing just how many people I never expected to care, did.
Now to why I feel I had to reactivate out of necessity. It's been brought to my attention by multiple people that lies are being spread about me while I have been down and out-- and screencaps of those lies have been given to me, so it's not just hearsay. I'm here to clear up my name because, whether I'm alive or not, I refuse to allow lies to be cycled around about me.
I reactivated to say that I have seen and don't appreciate these lies and the rest that I saw (but will not comment on publicly). To those that have heard or been told additional things about me while I was down and out, feel free to contact me privately to get my side on clearing my name. Know, however, that if you contact me, I will not give you info on the specifics from whom I was told or saw saying what. I will only be giving you my side to clear certain things being said about me. I will not participate in mud-slinging or calling out or slandering or giving dirt. I just want to clear my name.

So, to start: I'm the first person that will say I'm an awful piece of shit of a person. I'm not perfect and have said and done things in my life that were not good-- so just to make sure no one thinks I'm here trying to make myself look good. I've been medically diagnosed with severe clinical depression for nearly a decade now. I've had it for much longer than that, but I only finally got checked out a decade or so ago. I am more often not-okay than I am okay, but for the most part I try my damndest to shove it down and hide it. By now, plenty of people are well aware that I have issues with depression.
Why did I suddenly disappear everywhere? Well... At the risk of sounding dramatic, my life the past year has been a steadily accelerating snowball heading straight for disaster. Recently, all of it came to a head, putting me in one of the worst spots in my life, my stress and pain reaching a level that was/is pretty insurmountable. I had a massive depressive plummet, one that reached a dangerously suicidal level. As a result, I pulled away from everything except my job. I'm currently still in crisis, things are... incredibly difficult right now, but as soon as my insurance kicked in on Jan 1st, I got help and am currently trying to struggle through it as best I can.Now to why I feel I had to reactivate out of necessity. No. It's not. There is only one other time in my life where I have been this dangerously low and suicidal-- and that was two years ago when I got baker acted. I get depressed often, THAT is a common occurrence-- like I said, I'm more often depressed and not okay than I am okay. This is not some common low for me. Additionally: That is private information I don't want handed out to people on the internet. Telling people that, even if it WAS true, is not okay, especially when that info is unsolicited.
"This is a stunt."
Wow, I don't even know where to begin with how fucked up this is to say about someone. You know, I don't care how often someone might threaten suicide or get low, even if I suspect it's not true, I would never treat any episode of it as a "stunt" and I certainly wouldn't spread that bullshit to others about someone. It took my therapist one session to tell me they could tell I was in crisis, that's how serious this is. I deactivated everything and isolated myself because I needed it while I was horrifically bad off. I deactivated everything to remove the temptation to return before I was ready.
"Bipolar."
I got checked out, actually, years ago and I don't have bipolar disorder. I have severe clinical depression-- and anxiety, which has been a new addition and I only just recently got diagnosed with that as well. Not bipolar. I know I don't talk much here, but I just wanted to pop on and say a tremendous THANK YOU for the 150 watchers! I don't deserve any of you, but I am indescribably grateful to all of you for your support. ;__;
On that note, I have been thinking about doing this sort of raffle thing that might turn into a weekly raffle thing?
Here me out:
So, I am learning that I need to integrate gestures and fast not-listening-to-perfectionistic-thoughts-just-get-it-done drawings into my daily routine if I want to really get better and FEEL better about my art. My thought was that every week, I'd have a raffle for a watcher's OC of their choice to be my subject of that study. The art would be within that realm of polish; i.e. not very polished at all. It would likely even up being something that looks in a range of these:

All you have to do is be a watcher (new watchers welcome) and respond to the weekly journal with your OC ref that you'd want drawn should you win the raffle! Easy-peasy, right? I'm thinking that if you win one week, you can't win the week right AFTER, but you can win the week following that-- if that makes any sense.
I have also been thinking about having an additional separate raffle of the exact same thing on my Twitter ( https://twitter.com/ElectricEidolon ) for those followers-- and if you follow BOTH you have twice the chance of winning each week, granted you continue to be a watcher and respond to the weekly journal/tweet with your ref. (I'm also considering doing the same thing for my dA { http://electriceidolon.deviantart.com/ } so that would be THREE chances every week, but we'll see. After all, I intend to do this daily for my warm-ups so, I mean, I'm doing it anyway, there's no reason why 3 days out of the 7 can't be other's OCs, ya know?)
