Late Doodlepages and Toons

I'd like to issue an apology for late doodlepages and toons, they will all be completed in this week.
There were issues with a couple of refsheets causing delays, requiring more time than usual and since reference sheets require appointments, they had to be completed in-stream first. There were also an influx of refsheets last week as people wanted to book them before the price went up.
Pirate day and Ferret day was also pre-scheduled this week with another large refsheet today so it was impossible to get your stuff in before tomorrow.
In the following week, all outstanding doodlepages and toons will be completed, and you will receive a free icon as a patience gift :)

New update to the website, you'll see there's a twitter up there now. I'll be using that from now on to announce streams instead of posting the picture to my gallery here. You'll see specials and events posted to there too, so no more worrying about missing a journal or the announcement in-stream. You can always just check it out on the website if you dont want to follow.

If you look at the top of the screen you'll see there's a dropdown for Furenzy, there's the list of the cards I've started uploading, you can see your cards there.
There's also a form for signup and the future page where the print and play edition of the game can be downloaded.

I'm happy to inform you I am currently training a PA to assist with events scheduling and handle the flood of emails and notes I have trouble tending to. Please bear with me for the delay in getting to them all as I am working quite a lot of hours actually making the art. Actually had to cut a shift last night to get this website updated and train the PA.
Stream Schedule
You will see it in blocks on the right side of the site, and there is a link above it to show you the calendar layout.
If you want to see any of the commissions drawn live for you, you can ask me in-stream or email support[at]electrocat.co.za to have the PA schedule it for you (second option is better).
Or just ask for it in the refsheet textbox there is on all the order forms, we'll sort it out :)
If possible try not to ask in-stream as some commissioners have found it disruptive when I am working on their art.

Please note that there is a small price increase on some select commissions in effect immediately as I have additional expenditures now. You can view all prices on the website under their respective menu items.

Story by Trinketsphinx and game development by Banditt and myself, long-time card nerds XP
FLOOF Warfare is a more in-depth card game and a long-term project we've been working on roughly two years now.
Story, character development, world development by Trinketsphinx, drawings, game development by myself and some friends who kindly helped with playtests and input.
THE CRUX INCURSION is a comic about a space cat stranded on Earth, and that's all I will tell you now. It will be out very soon with monthly updates after that.

This is an appeal I've written to the CEO of the company I am with.
For anonymity reasons, we'll call him Mr G.
The plea is only because things are finally getting better for us. Baron got a job now, Furenzy the game is just about done, the house and my parents stuff get less and less to worry about every month.
I //KNOW// this is not going to happen again next month and am asking him for one more month's leniancy to prove it.

Sir, I've been having payment problems the last few months due to several reasons, but all of these things we have problems with are coming to an end in this month.
I really would like to continue using your services, and I've always sung your praises to all my customers, friends and family for amazing customer services and the top notch quality service I need to do my work properly.
I'm not going to write up a long sob story for you Sir, but i'll provide you with the reasons there are problems and the realistic solutions and guarantees that this will not happen again.
My boyfriend lost his job in March, I've had to take care of him. We don't make much but we need that 3000 or so he makes.
- He has found a job right at the end of last month and I can provide a copy of the employment contract at your request.
Already here is some insurance of being able to pay you should I be a little short for whatever reason. He uses the internet too and needs to pay half of it after we upgraded the line.

This was unable to be taken care of due to finances. The last week of July it became completely intolerable and I had no choice but to go and get the tooth removed. I am starting to work full throttle as of tomorrow again.
I live in the flatlet here at my parents' house to help support my mother and father. They are deep in the 60's now and retired and their house is not paid off yet, so I help with that.
I pay R2500 every two weeks and I buy meat for the family of 4. There are also 2 cats and 4 dogs requiring daily nourishment I have to care for too.
My boyfriend having a job now will more than assist with this, at the very least he can cover the animals which will ensure more than enough for my internet bill.
I've been working very hard Sir, we're talking 12 - 15 hour shifts here, sitting in front of the PC and drawing, trying to keep everything under control. It's exhausting, I'm very tired and burnt out.
Please give me one last chance to show I can be a reliable customer now that things are getting better here. I have a big trading card game that is almost completed, big plans for the future and so much work that I can't keep up with it.

Bad fang removed
Posted 11 years agoGot the bad wisdom tooth pulled today, it's a mean one.

This was an impacted mandibular wisdom tooth that grew in horizontally, 'bulldozing' the molar before it and putting me in a very unsexy amount of pain for the last year.
Great to have it gone, the wound's got a little dull after-surgery pain but thats normal, not so bad.
Dentist said I need to take the next few days easy, minimze stress, no work. Relax.
This is because of the surgery but also because I had to quit smoking today because of the surgery, so need some tranquility to get all healed up and better.
I'll get all better soon and be ready for work monday <3

I'd like to give out a thank you to the furs who have sent funds to help with my medical bills for the surgery I need. I'm waiting for a date when I can go in for the surgery and they're gonna get me taken care of.
I will be out of it and bedridden for at least a few days after the surgery, so don't worry if I'm not at the PC.
Until then, I do have times when the impacted teeth act up and I have to go lie down, take a painkiller or go apply something warm to the jaw. When I do not show up for work, I am not dodging getting my stuff done. My stream viewers and family will testify for you that I am working unless I am dying.
Thank you for the help fluffies, this last year and a half living with this pain has been Hell. I hope that my little scratches will be as meaningful to you, and make you as happy as you have made me.

Emergency funds needed for dental work
Posted 11 years agoSo I've had an impacted molar in my jaw a year now, and its messing up the teeth around it pretty bad.
Manageable with painkillers most of the time but now the teeth are getting brittle and need to be extracted.
I need to go to hospital and be anesthetized so they can take all the teeth out, and I'll also be out of action a week I'm estimating from the recovery.
The whole story is probably going to cost about $500, which I really can't afford. If anyone wants to send a donation to help my paypal is electrocat[at]electrocat.co.za
I'll get a full quote for the work in the next few days and find out when I can get the surgery done.
Update: I can get an appointment Tuesday so they can tell me how much the surgery will cost

The second deck consists of life crystals. The have various effects that come into play when they are destroyed.
Starting
The decks are both shuffled.
Each player gets 5 life crystals which are kept face-down and packed in a row before them similar to how you'd pack MTG resources.
This is your health, the objective is to destroy your opponent's until none remain.
Each player then receives 5 army cards. This is kept in your hand and not revealed to your opponent.
A die is rolled to see who goes first.
First Turn
The player who goes first does not draw a card on their first turn.
A player may play 1 Attacker OR Defender each turn, and 1 spell card.
On the first turn for each player, an attacker cannot attack.
The Opponent's First Turn
The second player draws a card upon starting their turn and plays the turn.
Attackers still cannot attack.
The rest of the game
Attacking cards can destroy defenders and life crystals.
If your opponent has a defender you cannot hurt his life crystals.
Attacking a defender or life crystal destroys the attacker unless the card states otherwise.
Cards have various effects when they attack or enter play, such as destroying other furries or granting you more cards, resurrecting fallen armies and more.
Be careful when destroying a life crystal since the effect they have will apply to you - ranging from resurrecting all your fallen troops to eliminating everything on the battlefield.
