Been a while, I know.
Been doing so much TAFE work so haven't had much time for drawing seriously.
BUT holidays have swung by and it is glorious!!
So, commissions are OPEN!

What else has been going on?
- I was DOP on a music video for Gotye's "Eyes Wide Open"
- ate so much chocolate
- Saw Elbow again, even more magical a second time.
- Just today, got a job at Myer in their head office!
- Made my financial goal for moving out! Which will hopefully happen soon, provided this job is secure enough... I'm very scared.

COMMISSIONS+MiDFur+What up?

Dead? I not dead... it's all lies! I've just been very very busy.
As some of you know I was Head of Video Team at MiDFur the 13th (massive furry convention in Melbourne, Australia) And I just got back home today after a long and stressful but all in all fun four days. To explain why I've been so busy, I guess I should just say, TAFE doing Film&TV at the same time as organising for MiDFur and just life in general have been getting in the way. But NOW I am free for the remainder of the holidays! YAY! I have until the end of February to live it up!
And so I'd like to open up commissions for an indefinite amount of time as I have the time to finish them.
As you saw in my last journal post 7 months ago I was to be moving out this month or Feb... Unfourtunately a had a debt of $2300 to pay off to my aunty for my trip to america with her. I would have rather had that totally paid off THEN moved so I don't have to worry about it. SO! I'm aiming to move out in the middle of this year :)
My goal is to make $4000 (mainly through my retail job) Wish me luck!

ALL PRICES IN AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS
Sketch= $5
Lined/inked= $10
Colour:
Coloured Pencil= $15
Markers= $15
Soft Pastel (on black or white paper)= $20
Watercolour= $25
Backgrounds= extra $5
Extra Characters= $2 per character
I'll accept Paypal (recommended) and money order for you guys in Australia if you wish.
But Kailani, How do I get one of these things?
Simple, send me a note on DA or FA with EXACTLY what you are after. Please remember to include any references (pictures or written).
I'll get drawing, once I'm done I'll allow you time to pay then upload a copy here and email you a larger, better quality file.
What If I want the real copy?
I can post it out to you, but I will expect you to pay postage costs.
What do you draw?
Lots of things. I prefer to draw anthro and feral animal characters and am VERY comfortable with dogs. I do dabble in humans, but I'm sill kind of sucky so if you want something in the way of humans, I'm not your dingo.

Whats been happening guys?
How have you all been?
I've been flippin' awesometacular!
This year just passed:
- I got my Diploma in Screen & Media (Film&TV)
- learnt so many new things
- made so many awesome new friends
- saw too many movies (hey I'm a film student, what's your excuse?)
- Got the best, most amazing boyfriend, yeah thats right.
- was on the board for MiDFur www.midfur.com.au
And this year is going to be even better!
On the books:
- bought tickets to see Elbow in March (they're coming back!!)
- Going to see Mr Tim Minchin VS The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra FRONT ROW CENTER SEATS!
- Final year of TAFE, final film projects, all round fun times.
- Having a table at this year's MiDFur, taking commissions and selling a few awesome little things
New years resolution: To get one of my films into a film festival.
Looking forward to this year? I THINK YES!

Long time no talk. How you doin?
So I've decided to keep commissions open for semester break, they will now close AUGUST 1st.
Why?
I'm moving out of home jan/feb next year and need to save like hell to make it! Running a little low on money at the moment, all because of TAFE things, Food, living items etc.
Seeing as the hard yakka of first semester is over I'm getting on with drawing much more often and becoming inspired by Fox Amoore. Speaking of inspiration, has anyone noticed the increase in REALLY young kids on DA? Hell, I'm all for young people being into art and stuff but these guys have to be younger than 13, and they just post pics of themselves. Maybe I'm just old. But I cant find anything really inspiring on DA, all I can find is a profile pics that look like they belong on facespace or mybook or something of the like.
So Ima going to head off and draw now

I've known about FA for a while and I just now decided to make an account.
My name is Felicia I have a fursona but she is still in desperate need of a name. I love to draw and i love animals, I have a duck 8 chickens, a fish, a dog, 2 cats, a canary and 2 guinea pigs (I just got them yesterday for my birthday.
My brithday is on the 11th of October and October is my favourite month.
So thats a few things about me, I will hopefully upload soon :D
