Life Update - Art delays (few days)

Life update -
So just giving some updates here -
Thanks to folks for the birthday wishes from yesterday. It's been a bad several days.
Actually stopped taking on commissions because I wanted to spend couple weeks working on some larger pieces queued to clear up my schedule. That was unknowingly a good call because the events that happened would have only made me feel far worse if I had more on my work load. As it stands - managed progress throughout on various pieces and still got some progress done on everything in queue. Just behind is all, but I can handle behind. Just wasn't where I wanted to be ending this month. I wanted to go into March having a fully open queue.
Here's what's happened.
On the 17th, I shattered a tooth right before bed because what I thought was just a cavity in fact was a full on dead tooth that split completely open. I then wrecked my sleep to stay up for the dentist to schedule an appointment.
Spent a couple days waiting for the dentist to be available as this happened basically Saturday morning and locally folks weren't around. New to MA area so hadn't established care here yet. Not how I planned on saying hello.
Spent the week of the 19th-24th giving folks that were on my queue as much art as I could crank out before my scheduled appointment to get checked out.
I was x-rayed on the 19th and full extraction set for the 27th, so I had a deadline of a week to get everything set. I thankfully was not in any pain because the tooth was dead. The smell of burnt cork and rot not withstanding, I was fine as long as I kept my mouth shut.
However, things escalated -
At some point during the early part of the week my partner became violently ill from at the time was what we suspected was food poisoning as I showed no symptoms (foreshadowing alert). So violently ill that not only was I left staying up on an already wrecked sleep schedule from trying to reacclimate from the earlier dental issue, I now was needing to square them away by getting them to an Urgent Care, making sure they were okay enough to rest. While we got to an Urgent Care, further medical issues required attention throughout the day, and caused me to just basically go into zombie mode ensuring that I was around for them. At least I was able to give a bit of comfort because they were in worse shape than I was at this point.
The lack of sleep and just helping them as best I could was there for two days + and managed a little bit of art during this time, but it was difficult. After they started healing, I woke up in middle of my sleep deprivation and proceeded to have a sudden issue on both ends. Similar to what they had had. Food poisoning was less likely at this point due to the difference in timing.
Seems we both got hit with Norovirus / stomach flu.
This further wrecked me.
Not only was my sleep at the barest standards, I now was dealing with physical collapsing of strength. I had no gas left in the tank. The positive is that Norovirus left me so tired that with my partner healed, I was able to finally get rest. Something like 30 hrs over the course of 48 hrs.
These were not restful sleeps, they were feverish hell dreams where my brain would spend gaps of 6+ hrs being unable to focus for beyond seconds at a time. While awake it was waves of fever and chills. Everything was just truly terrible.
Worse was I wasn't sure how/ if I'd recover in time for my oral extraction. Thankfully, I just barely did, but the mental weight just kept edging me along as this specific year, I was hoping to spend my first birthday along with my partner in some manner of happiness. Not feeling in the worst shape possible.
Went into the dentist earlier on my birthday, had set aside sleep and made sure I'd be okay enough to deal with being awake while having a tooth pulled from my head. I couldn't wait on going under and the wait time I'm sure was much much longer as is.
So I got everything confirmed the previous week at the office, only to find out they completely lost my reservation. Despite being able to show them my text messages from their very care center confirming the time and date, I wasn't there.
Their office was under construction and all of this is happening with almost a hypersonic high pitched whine in my ears as I'm waiting on them to tell me they've completely lost any record of setting me up for extraction.
They say they can't find me, apologize and ask if I can wait in the office. The drilling noise and my lack of sleep along with general stress culminates with the thought that, there's just no way I can take sitting for an unknown period of time in this devolving hellscape of home furnishing fixing blaring on the TV, pitched whines and already agony in my mind.
Thankfully after some discussion, I mention I live close enough I can come back to the office within minutes and after further discussion, they re-set up an appointment for much later in the day.
So now all I have to do is not go back to sleep. I spend hours sitting in just a depression as birthday wishes roll in. I've had shit happening and just too much to go over. I've got a few people that are behind on art as well by a few days I've felt extremely sad that I tend to keep tight schedules and this has been such a shit show that its coming out in a wall of text.
But now after considerable effort - the tooth at least is out. I may need another one pulled. I'm not sure. I'm thinking on it. I'm no longer sick. I'm just tired more mentally than physically and worse my body is now thinking that rather than regular sleeps, it is trained for 3-4 hour naps and I'm just constantly tired.
So why all this? I just haven't posted, wanted to give some context and let folks know that I ate brownies and ice cream yesterday not because it was my birthday, but because medical professionals advised me that it was a good food that wouldn't hurt my mouth while I heal.
Kindly remember yesterday as the one day where I kept my mouth shut.
