Hi everybody, something happened and I was hospitaliced because of my mental health and... an attempt I did on myself.

I'm well, I'm medicated, my family is taking care of me 24/7 (they let me come back home under that promise), it was a moment of weakness caused of grief (for loosing both my parents when I was young and now my grandma, it was a moment when I needed my mom the most and she wasn't here) also pain (PTSD-abuse) and financial stress (I now have to pay bills that my grandma used to pay).
I was weak for a moment and did something stupid that no one should do. And I'm very sorry, I'm also sorry that I wont be able to work for a couple of days, doctor said to take a rest until monday, and then take job back slowly, I'm sorry for this I wanna do a good job for everybody. And I promise my best as always.

thanks to all of you who have supported my art journey, I couldn't be more lucky. You all are the best that could have happened to me and now I live my dream of living out of my art -even with a little help of my family, but I'll get to full independance one day-

Mental health

Lately I've been struggling a lot, but I'm seen a doctor both for my mental health and for my chronic pains, situation is much better and I'm medicated, some days I can't get out of bed, but other days I give it all cause you all deserve my best.

Education

As you know I'm a multimedia design student, I'm only 3 exams away from getting my degree (february will be the next chance to pass them)
BUT to become a better artist I will be signing up for a new carreer this year (Visual arts making -focused in drawing, sculpting and also multimedia-), this carreer is free but art suplies are expensive. ALSO I will be signing up for a paid career in animation -digital design and animation- (only if I reach my ko-fi goal, if not I'll save up until I can afford it)

hi hi to all! I got my pc back and looks like it works well. thanks for the support ♥
the techs tested every component and told me they were ok but the thermal paste was totally dried up, they cleaned it up, and also updated the bios, the drivers, and killed off background executing programs.

LET'S HOPE IT KEEPS WORKING WELL THIS TIME. -and now I have a saving in case it stops working again-

First of all, YES I CAN CONTINUE WORKING, I do have equipment to continue with pendant coms. Now back to the issue.

I will be opening new YCH slots, Taking donations on kofi for sketches ( https://ko-fi.com/elietteqlay ), and here is why:

This has being happening since the very beggining, out of the blue my pc starts having bluescreens more and more frecuently until windows no longers starts, then I send it to the tech, they reboot the pc do a couple of things I don't understand cause I'm not tech savy and give it back.
The pc works a couple of days, weeks, months and then it no longer works again.

I sent this pc multiple times to 2 different techs. They always claimed it was a conflict between drivers and my ryzen motherboard, and claimed to test the hardware too. I called bullshit (on the inside cause I'm well mannered on the outside) cause the issue repeats all the time.

NOW I found a 3rd tech, that have more specialiced equipment and have being really recomended to me, I plan on sending my pc to them. I have more faith in them cause they were able to bring from the dead my old work laptop that had rust inside and was claimed dead (the one I used when I started doing commissions before buying this pc) I can do both animations and ilustrations there, only thing I can't do there is big multiple scened animations.

BUT, my pc does work, only issue is I have to work between bluescreens. I'm determined to finish all commissions before sending this pc back to service. And I have faith this time. The only issue is that if it is something about the hardware (highly probable) I need a saving to cover that up.

That is why I opened multiple YCH Slots and I'm taking more work in, I use half my time in old coms and half on new each day. Also I need to pay living expenses. Hope you understand, I always deliver on my work even if it takes time.

Can someone tell me or send me a note with what happened with the site? What was being uploaded? I'm totally unaware of what happened

Well not really, we weren't allowed on the plane cause of some paperwork, and we had to dry our savings to fix it and get new plane tickets. We had to stay more days in Colombia than expected and it was kinda scary (really scary) cause we didn't know what to do and for a moment it seemed like money wouldn't be enough to buy new tickets.

BUT WE SOLVED IT. I'll resume work this week as I stop being so shaken up by what happened. Wish you all a great week and let's see what the future holds for us cause looks like things won't be as easy as we planned.

context: I'm from Argentina and my BF is from Colombia, we are living together now.

I'll be out from july 4 to august 10 due to a vacation and a lifechange event. All commissions will be paused during that time, I will work on them until the 4th but if I can't finish I rather postpone a project and deliver something good than rushing it.

ALL commissioners whoms commissions weren't finished before the 4th will get a free ilustration (SFW) for your patience and understanding.

I might take time with work but I always deliver. I'm facing a lot of burnout and both psicological and psisical issues are making work really hard for me. I'm going to Colombia to visit my boyfriend and his family (long distance relationship) And BIG NEWS WE ARE MOVING IN TOGETHER!

He is coming to study in my town and to help me with work and my treatments. So everything should be better from now on. he will also work with me in animations so those will no longer take months and months to make (LUCKILY) He is also a good animator, that is how we met each other in the first place ♥
