SUAL: The Bluest Eyes in Texas - Nina Persson
Posted 9 years agoWith no change in the lyrics, the rendition by Nina Persson (lead vocalist for The Cardigans) merely gives this song about leaving your woman a lesbian perspective, but it is also a beautiful rendition.

Bubblegum Musings
Posted 9 years agoSo, I was talking with a friend of mine about an Anime called Bubblegum Crisis (2032) and the topic of PSL-crushes came up. As a result, we started looking at character files and listings which, being anime, includes the female character's respective measurements. Which had me comparing their depictions with real-world models who shared their physical measurements. For the record, my PSL-crush was always Sylia.
Sylia Stingray

Weight: 48kg (106#)
Sizes: 90cm-58cm-90cm (35"-23"-35")
Model: Evgeniya Rudaya
Priscilla S. Asagiri
DoB: November 17, 2013 (?)
Height: 168cm (5'6")

Model: Alena Savostikova
Linna Yamazaki
DoB: October 20, 2012
Height: 176cm (5'8")
Weight: 46kg (101#)
Sizes: 85cm-57cm-86cm (33"-22"-34")
Model: Ashley Sky
Nene Romanova
DoB: August 31, 2014
Height: 156cm (5'1")
Weight: 48kg (106 lbs.)
Sizes: 80/84cm-60cm-85cm (33"B-23"-33")
Model: Christie-Kane
Note: Although close, Christie is a D-cup, giving Nene the larger ribcage but they have the same bust-size. At least according to the listed figures, but models are notorious for listing false cup-sizes or simply messing it up. In this case, I'm inclining to the former as EVERY picture of Christie is either in bust-enhancing pose or outfit, with my estimate being that's she's closer to a respectable C-cup.

Sunday Spelunking #1
Posted 9 years agoFor a while now, I've been getting picky over who gets put on my watch list, simply because a week worth of submission notifications can end up taking over an hour for me to go through. So I've taken to bookmarking an artists Gallery for later perusal which I try to do on Sunday. Are you with me so far?
The Spelunking part is that some times I find myself deep into the old submissions, still madly adding to my favorites list (and leaving a rather repetative notice waiting for said artist as a result).
Sunday Spelunking is going to be a semi-regular journal post where I simply post the artist and five of their submissions that ended up in my favorites list. They'll only end up here if I ended up deep into their backlog and each of the links provided will have a very brief description with it, inluding a SFW or NSFW tag.

CELEBRATION TIME!
Posted 10 years agoSo if you go back to my previous journal post, you'll see that I've cleared out all the submissions from my watchlist. Yay!
In celebration I'd like to personally thank the people who, over the last three years, have helped me strike off items from my wishlist.
In wishlist order:
1. crazycowproductions for this attempt at the #1 slot, the most complicated pose on the list.
2. mistiv and audiovideomeow for a wonderful realization of the #6 entry, here.
3. This image will always hold a special place in my heart, courtesy of fc32 and gentlemanplayer. Especially as GP went on to use it for the icon of their platinumladies centerfold account. So wonderful, I nearly forgot that it fulfilled my #10 wish.
4. Rhazzazor commissioned Inspector97 over on DeviantArt to draw this image as a birthday gift, striking the #12 slot off my list. This also marked the first time that I had been drawn fully by someone other than :fc32:.
5 & 6. We come back again to fc32, who keeps being awesome in so many ways. He drew this wonderful image of the rest of the Perani Sisters, making wish #18 come true in such a way that I couldn't have imagined better. And lastly, and very recently, he made a gift to fulfill the wishes of a lust-filled fantasy of mine that made it into the #16 slot of my wishlist.
So again, thank you to all involved here, for keeping this very stressed out tigress relatively sane over the years.

I fucking hate my life. Still, things have finally eased up and Fallout 4 is on the way. Hopefully my coming here and posting/clearing through the 12 thousand () subscription posts waiting for me doesn't jinx it.

Grumble
Posted 10 years agoIf it's not one thing, it's another. Eight people "quit" work last fortnight (actually, two of them started their own firm, walking off with some of the choicer contracts while they were at it and enticed the other six with those), and my motherboard blew. And I mean blew. Fortunately, the power supply (which was at fault) was under warranty, but it took this long to clear it up and source replacements.

April 25th
Posted 11 years ago"They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
They mingle not with their laughing comrades again;
They sit no more at familiar tables of home;
They have no lot in our labour of the day-time;
They sleep beyond England's foam"
Lest we Forget.
Update: I ain't dead, but I've sold my Life to Zenimax
Posted 11 years agoI have changed jobs, so I have a different schedule for one thing. For another, I have purchased Elder Scrolls online. I play on the NA server, because it's the toss of a coin as to how either megaserver would lag for people in Australia. Uh... PM me if you also play on NA and you'd like me to friend you.
Oh, and I my Khajiit namesake looks dead-sexy in Orcish steel.

Goodbye Mother...
Posted 11 years agoSo, I guess that I am now, officially, estranged from my mother. This is a big part of the reason that I haven't been around of late, as my mother an I had been having repeated arguments over my sexuality. I don't think it helped that a friend loaned me a copy of Frozen that finally put that damn song into fucking context, but it all lead into a leeetil emotional breakdown. All while work was running me ragged because some of the more machismatic fucks in the company wouldn't take the poor girl who took up the despatcher position seriously.
I gave my bosses their marching orders a week ago, stating in no uncertain terms that I would only fill the roll for two weeks. After which, if they haven't filled the position, I won't be accepting any more shifts from them. Given that two of our clients are insistent that I be on staff for event nights, it's starting to get ugly, especially since I also told them that if they don't ensure that the next despatcher has to suffer being treated like a doormat, I'll consider the position unfilled.
So, yeah. I'm just a little drained, emotionally and physically. But I am alive, and I am popping my head in from time to time.

Apologies for my absence
Posted 11 years agoFor everyone who has been worried about me, thank you for your messages and expressions of concern. The Despatcher at work up and quit, so I've had to fill in again. And I've had a falling out with my mother (a long time coming, I know). But I promise that I'll be back, soon.
Really. *crosses fingers*

Ow and Ew
Posted 12 years agoWell, it was as bad as I feared, with one highlight in particular.
Ow: One fuckwit decided that seeing as he was being ejected from the premises anyway, that he'd cop a feel. A drucken fucknut feel. Ow.
Ew: I have drunken arsehole on me. Ew-ew-ew!
Still, it was fun watching him sprawl as I "lost my grip" just as he left the top step. Don't worry, there's only three others for him to have missed but, damn, it was good watching the CCTV of that during debrief.

Posted 12 years agoSo Christmas and New Years are over, but I forgot the dreaded First Weekend After New Years where some of the spill over hits, and some people can't get their brains out of "it's the 'festive' season so i get to be an drunken idiot" mode.
And I have door-duty tonight.
Fun.
...
Wish me luck.

Working out my frustrations
Posted 12 years agoWork is hectic between Christmas and New Year, so I'm probably going to be a little quiet for a the next week. And I can't take out my frustrations on any of the drunks. I just can't.

Nostalga and old Community Service Announcements
Posted 12 years agoSo, I'm browsing around the net before I have to think about getting ready for my shift, when I come across this.
The Goodnight Kiwi would signal the end of broadcast on Channel One or Network Two back in New Zealand, some time around midnight. Needless to say, I only got to see it on rare occasions. This was before 24 hour television and the last broadcast was in 1994, five years after I left.
But coming across this made me think of some of the old, Channel 9 CSAs that were shown here in Perth when we emigrated. Specifically two that were about proper diet and nutrition, because these things actually helped a lot of us pass health and nutrition a few years later.
Of course, the missed a nutrient, so they also released this.
Apparent, grains have no vitamins.
I still cringe at the assumptions that "mom" is the primary food preparer in the household. Not to mention the cringe-worth American "mom" as opposed the the "mum" that's actually used here. It was pretty clear that they had contracted an American for a couple of the songs.
Lastly, I want to bring up this one, because I'm not entirely sure that it properly hit the mark. I mean, yeah, it's trying to warn about household dangers, but I know some kids that wouldn't be in the same room as an electric iron when it was in use.

Vote for Dani

Depression
Posted 12 years agoNo, not chronic. Or even manic. This isn't a journal where I sob about my problems. I try to avoid posting those because, for the most part, no matter how honest they are they tend to read like pleas for attention.
Depression can be brought on by lots of things, and it's probably a lot of little, inconsequential things that you've already forgotten on an intellectual level. But emotions have momentum. So if a string of little downer moments and thoughts come together in a cluster, you can end up depressed.
This is the difference between every day depression, and clinical depression. Clinical depression is that even some positive momentum can't save you, because depression has become your default resting point. And that's not what this is.
So, what has me depressed? No idea what led to it, all those little, forgotten moments. I only know what tipped me over. I want to commission an image about "ringing in the New Year," but yeah, my usual problems with a payment vendor. The only one that provides the checks and protections that I want isn't even really a payment vendor, but is Linden Labs.
Any how, seeing as a lot of people can find themselves depressed at this time of year, remember that it isn't really the thing that tipped you over that has you depressed. It's all the little, forgotten annoyances and disappointments that plague this time of year that came before it. It will get better, and if it's getting to be too much, watch some funny cats on youtube. It always cheers me up! :-D

Prejudice
Posted 12 years agoIt's okay, it's not a rant or a horror story. You see, we all have prejudices. It's the consequence of having opinions. And not all prejudice is ugly, it depends on what you let you prejudice influence. No, this is just a bit of self-examination and realization. Follow along, if you will.
Cunnilingus.
So, I did a search of this, because I had a hankering to see some girl-on-girl action. It didn't even occur to me to specify lesbian cunnilingus. I'm prejudiced that way. I don't think of cunnilingus as something that heterosexual couples do, not immediately anyway.
The Westborough Baptist Church.
I pretty much hate everything these people stand for, so my initial reaction to most reports on them are universally negative. But, one time it was an attempt by some other group to, basically, get them to shut up. And I said, after thinking for a second or two, that no, I actually supported Westborough on that point. As much as I disagree with their views, I do believe in their right to hold those views, and even share them. I just reserve the right to ignore whatever nonsense they decide to spout this particular week.
Testicles.
I'm a lesbian. It's as simple as that. Yes, I'm into herms. My 'sona is one. I like dildos too. That means that yes, technically, I like cock. But only if it's attached to something female. But testicles... they get in the way of the pussy on a herm, so I don't like them, as a rule. I've made a few exceptions though, as is the case with all good prejudice, there are exceptions.
