I just went to a nice little convention in Mainz, named Kaidan ( https://kaidancon.de/ ) and met a lot of awesome people.
I won't call names, you know who you are!
I was a bit sceptical at first, since these type of conventions can get very interesting, very fast.
But all my anxiety and all my sceptisism was for nothing.
Everyone was cool and nice and thoughtful and we had a metric ton of fun!
Got pretty expensive too :P but it was and still is absolutely worth it!

Greetings to everyone and all who went there and everyone who still wants to go.
And special greetings to all the super nice Artists and vendors who were there.

ich versuche mich kurz zu fassen, da ich dieses Journal in zwei Sprachen schreiben muss :P
Ich habe angefangen meine Bücher ins Deutsche zu übersetzen, die ersten Varianten sind auch bereits hochgeladen. Natürlich sind das nicht die entgütligen Fassungen, da bei der Übersetzung doch noch so einige Fehler aufgefallen sind. Ich werde alle Geschichten nochmals überarbeiten.
Das gleiche gilt für ihre englischen Originale.
Ich denke ich werden Versuche bis Ostern mit allem fertig zu sein und dann ggf. einen keinen Druckdurchlauf starten. Falls interesse an einer "Hardcopy" besteht. Natürlich Hardcover! Natürlich signiert!
So meldet euch bei mir, damit ich weiß wie viele exemplare ich drucken darf.

I'll try to be brief, as I have to write this journal in two languages :P
I've started translating my books into German, and the first versions have already been uploaded. Of course, these are not the final versions, as I noticed a few mistakes during the translation. I will revise all the stories again.
The same applies to their English originals.
I think I will try to be finished with everything by Easter and then possibly start a print run. If there is interest in a hardcopy. Hardcover of course! Signed of course!

the few that are there.

I apollogize for not being massively productive as of late.
But I feel strangely tired since a while now.
Most likely another Burn-out, or yet another bout of Depression... who knows.
I don't know what's wrong... but well shit happens.

Don't worry, I am neither suicidal nor in any other way on the virge of hurting me or something...
just tired... soooo tired of it all.

I just wanted you to know, so you do not have to worry about my lack of posting any pictures and / or stories.
I have spend a lot of time trying to keep my job going smoothly, more ot less successfully and I wanted to try to fill up my SoFurry-Beta account... but was somewhat disappointed by the result...
and after getting my wrist slapped trice, first by FA, then by SF and in the end by some random dude I don't even know... I had to take down a whole lot of stuff, which had taken me a lot of work to put up in the first place...
That did not help...

I will try to update my "story-catalogue" here on FA, since most of the stories got a significant update over the last few month, since I have reread, rewritten and revised them all one more time for them to get printed somewhen in the near future... and now I am spend...

I will most likely just reupload all the stories and put the old files in the scraps-folder... if anyone prefers the old ones...
but that will take a while and a half. So don't worry.

I hope I will see ya all again...

first of all, nice to be back again.
One does not realize how much time one spend on a page until it goes down for a while.
Good to be back, and my heartfelt thanks to the staff, whom all worked hard t oget the site running again.

But back to topic.
As some of you have noticed, I recently have gotten my second book printed.

Even if we already found a ton of little and big issues with the book, I am still stoked in how good it turned out. Given that I am no professional in publishing or writing or any of those things necessary to get such a book of the ground, it turned out rather nicely.

I am working feverishly on getting my third book done...
Provereading is done and I am now working on layout and aquirering artworks for it, alongside the forth book.

As my financial situation does not allow me to hire a real artist... I would need something around 50+ artworks... all around the dimensions of DIN A5 / 15 by 21cm...
Which would put me at least 5.000,- € back... more likely 10.000,- €...
I will try to get my book done with AI generated Artwork first... as were the first two books...

I will work on getting the books updated to "real" Artworks, as my finances let me... one at a time...
But that might take a while and will most likely be next year...

It will contain the entirety of How I got Damned. The Story I wrote together with Fire15q.

We are talking 250 pages of hardcover goodness here :) yay

I will only print a few, for some friend and colaborators...
But If you want one too... give me a headsup, and I will include you in the order...

Every Book will be numbered and will include a personal dedication and will be signed by me...

Printing costs are around 10,-€ per pop... plus shipping.
Since most of the shipping will go to the US I am working out a deal to keep shipping to a minimum... but most certainly, shipping will be almost more expensive as the book itself.

Printing will be done in early january... so If you'd like one, be quick, I'll not reprint them...

I will create a nice PDF or ePUB version later.
With all the bells and whistles... I will distribute them for a discounted Price... How much, IDK yet... depends on the amount of work I have to put in...

As if this year was not shit enough as it is...
I had to let go of Krümel today...
I dreadet this day for month. I knew it would come. It was as inevitable as death itself.
But no amount of preparation... no amount of support... and no amount of agreement from the vet, that this is the only viable option... can prepare you for the pain, when finally your lay your companion to his well deserved rest.

This morning at 9:20h, Krümels heart stopt beating and all of a sudden... the world seems to be a little less colorfull...

May you rest in peace my friend... you will be missed...

Each and every year, Christmas approaches completely unexpectedly and unpredictably.
It's that time again. The year is over. A lot has happened in the world again and unfortunately almost none of it was positive.

I could go on and on and waste your and my time talking about all the negative things that have happened, not only to the world but also to me.

Instead, I would like to use this time to point out the few positive things that have happened, at least to me.
As some of you may have noticed, I have started writing again.

Thanks to the motivation and inspiration of some very special people, I was able to get myself to start writing again. And since July this year, I have written over 1000 pages of short stories. Admittedly, most of it is definitely not PG and some of it is even really hard... but nevertheless, it was fun to start again.
I will definitely continue to write short stories. I hope to finish the next and for now last chapter of a new short story between the years, which some users who are also on SoFurry.com might have already read. Since the chapters of this story are quite short, I decided to collect them first and then post them in their entirety here on Furaffinity.net.

Furthermore, the funding for the physical edition of How I got Damned, the short story collection created in close collaboration with Fire15q, should be considered secured. I had hoped to be able to realize the release before Christmas, but life kept throwing little obstacles in my way. Well, now there's a nice wall here, and the book will still be available, but not until early 2024.
The first edition will be strictly limited. Each book will be numbered and signed. Anyone who registers now for one of the few books (the more registrations I receive by the end of the year, the more I can print and the cheaper they will be...) will receive a personal dedication! The price at the moment is 15,- € / $ (we do it 1 to 1...) plus shipping.
Just PM me for your registration, we can talk it all over then...

Personally, the best news of the year is probably that my job will stay the same and I don't have to look for a new employer. This means that I still only have to walk 5 minutes to work and therefore have more time to take care of this community.

Well hello there,

I just updated my latest story to version 1.0.
As usual for me, I was not pleased with the flow of the story, and there were a multitude of errors in all departments.
I smoothed out most kinks and dings in the story as best that I could, but well... It's still one of my stories, so don't expect too much please :)

But stylewise it should now be coherent with for the greater Good.

I'm planing on a continuation for the greater good, but am not sure yet where I want the story to lead... so it could take a while until there will be new stuff.

HEAVY SPOILERS AHEAD...

Back to the topic at hand:
As I've written in the desciption, I wrote this little story after an argument with a patient of mine on the topic of assisted suicide. Since this is still a hot topic in germany, and stricly said, it's illegal in germany. There are ways, and possibilities, but all involved are in jail with one leg and one arm... It's highly controversial.
I don't want to go to deep into it, and I won't bother you with my oppinions on the topic now...

I wrote the story as a sort of blowof valve... to vent my frustration.
I got some feedback on it from you guys, that I could have bring the coping of my mainchara a bit more to the forefront.
I did not even think about the coping to be honest. Bereavement wasn't on my mind then. But yes, if you'd like to see it that way, there is the whole DABRA in the story.
We have:

D - Denial: When Shirya first comes to the temple, she is in denial, of what is to happen to her.
A - Anger: When she verbally attacks Rayas, for pushing her and speeding things up, so they could kill her faster, she is clearly in the anger phase
B - Bagaining: When she has sex with the Great Khan, that can be seen as bargaining for her live...
R - Resignment: After bargaining with the Great Khan fails, she resigns and comes with Rayas without any resistance

and finally:

A - Acceptance: As she lies on the altar and closes her eyes, she accepts her fate

So, if we see it that way, yes there is the whole 5 phasese of coping aka DABRA in the story. And yes, perhaps I could have bring that a bit more to the forefront, but therefor I had to think about it when writing the story...
I'll try to incoperate such things better in the next story... if it will circle around this theme again.

it's so nice you to come by. As in the title, I just updated the file in the Wh40k story... The font new suits the story a little better without making it too hard to read... I was tempted to use "Frakturschrift", what would be fitting for the setting, but is a pain in the ass to read, at least of you're not used to it.
I added Initial to the chapters, as I like the look of it... sadly, I have not found out how to get libre-office to properly let me use the settings... one day I will make it work... you just wait (shaking a fist towards libre writer)...

I'm now collecting ideas for a new story. I'm not yet sure, what it will be. I plan on going a bit lighter in tone next time... since WH40k is a bit dark at times, and I long for some silly fun...
It might not be purely Furry related thou...

We've got a new kitten yesterday.
Running with the theme of our other two Maine Coons, Loki and Heimdal, our newest Kitten is named Freya.
She's also a Maine Coon, even if she's a little small. She has a little birthdefect in that her bushy tail ends after just about 2,5 inches...
But she's just such a sweetheart... but she'll grow up to be quiet the headturner...

I will post some nicer pictures when the light is better...

Zum Verkauf steht ein Baby-Benz in gutem Zustand mit geriner Laufleistung.

Ich habe den kleinen als Übergangsfahrzeug von meiner Tante gekauft, die ihn als Jahreswagen vom Händler gekauft hat. In sofern ist die Historie des Fahrzeugs recht gut nachvollziehbar.
Mit seinen 16 Jahren steht er Benztypisch gut da. Es gibt natürlich die ein oder andere Macke, das bleibt in einem bewegten Leben nicht aus.
Ich würde ihn nicht verkaufen, wenn ich nicht eindeutig zu breit für das Autochen wäre.
Ich bin wieder auf eine E-Klasse umgestiegen und suche deswegen eine neue Familie für den Kleinen.

Der Kilometerstand ist original und nicht "getuned". Das Auto selbst ist unverbastelt und wird mit dem original Mercedes Benz - Becker - CD Radio verkauft.

Der Kleine ist voll funktionstüchtig. Alle Fenster heben und senken sich, das Lamellendach funktioniert und ist dicht.
Er hat vor 2 Monaten neue Bremsscheiben und -belege vorne bekommen und im Frühjahr sind die Birnchen vorne getauscht worden.
Mai 2020 Ölwechsel inkl. Motorspühlung 5W40
Letzten Winter hat er niegel nagel neue Winterreifen bekommen, da sind sogar noch die Stoppelchen dran.

Zu den Mängeln:
- Parkrempler Fonttür rechts (siehe 3. Bild), kein Rost.
- Parkrempler Heckstoßstange (siehe 13. Bild), Heckklappe öffnet und schließt problemlos
- Rost an den Radläufen, nach 16 Jahren normal, keine Durchrostungen
- Rost an den Türfalzen, dito
- Ölstandssensor hat einen Wackler, d.h. die Ölwarnlampe geht mal an und aus und der Warnton piept hin und wieder. Motor ist dicht und Öl ist drin. Laut Mechaniker ist das ne bekannte Krankheit, der Sensor kostet nicht viel, ist aber nur sehr umständlich zu tauschen. weswegen wir das nicht gemacht haben. Auto fährt damit problemlos, man muss halt hin und wieder das Knöpfchen für den Piepmatz drücken...

Wir haben den Kleinen jetzt gute 12.000 Kilometer bewegt ohne ein einziges Problem. Tantchen hatte auch nie Probleme mit ihm, abgesehen von diesem kleinen Sensor...

Ich weiß, ich weiß ... DIESEL... das Unwort der letzten Jahre. Er hat ne grüne Plakette, er hat nen Partikelfilter nachgerüstet und eingetragen. Solange Sie nicht in Städte wollen die eine blaue Plakette brauchen und Sie mit gigantischen 5,5l Diesel auf 100 Kilometern leben können, ist dieser kleine Flitzer ein sehr zuverlässiger, genügsamer und günstiger Partner.

Der Preis kann natürlich verhandelt werden. Sommer und Winterreifen auf Stahl sind dabei. Ein Satz original MB-Radkappen sind auch drin. Und Sprit für die nächsten 300-400 Kilometer ist auch noch im Tank :)

Geben Sie sich einen Ruck, es lohnt sich.

After 11 years of fun and joy, but also diceases and suffering we had to put our beloved dog Paul to sleep this morning.

He had an fulfilled life, not as long as it sould have been, but I think he was happy till the end.

After a troubled weekend and one devastating diagnose this morning at the vet, we had to make this one last dicision.
Paul allmost looked happy, when our vet gave him the injections...
