Thank You Message / New Adoptable OC
General | Posted 6 years agoThank you everyone who sent positive feedback in my last journal about my current commission status and overall working conditions. I so appreciate your understanding and kindness. Hope you all are safe and healthy, specially during these hard times of global quarantine. Keep up and stay strong, folks.
In other news: for those who still want to support my work during these times, I'll be releasing a brand new OC adoptable this week. Stay tuned for the upcoming post in my galleries. Thanks in advance.

About ongoing closed commission slots
General | Posted 6 years agoBeforehand, I'm grateful for all people interest in supporting my work by getting a commissioned art. But I'm aware some might be upset for not having a chance yet in quite some time. I apologize for the ongoing declines and I assure it is nothing personal overall.
My time for working on regular commissions is usually narrow. I must juggle it between other works and RL issues so I end up having a little less than 2 weeks per month to work on them. It doesn't help that some of my current pending commissions are quite elaborated and I still owe a few credits for other commissioners. Plus I've been dealing with increased stress and anxiety lately (with some pain behind my head) and I barely find enough time to draw my own projects, which is actually the main reason I still don't own a Patreon account.
That's why I keep on a commission hiatus until I can finish most of my pending work. I'd be very glad for the patience and understanding from all of you.
If anyone have questions, plase do it through a note. And PLEASE be polite in the comments section.
Thanks in advance.

Back in business
General | Posted 6 years agoBeforehand I'd like to thank my buddy
jilo for informing my absence from the internet since last saturday (21th).
At that time there was an accident with a truck on my street that ruined almost two blocks of internet & telephone connection cables on the poles nearby. As ludicrous as it sounds, my internet provider postponed a corrective maintenance all over this week and I had to demand an emergency attendance before I cancel the service overall. Finally a tech support fixed the cables, but the internet provider will hear from me anyway in a few days.
In the meantime I'm gradually getting back on tracks with my peeps. Thanks everyone for the patience, I'll bring up updates asap!

Question about FA art display
General | Posted 6 years agoEverytime I click on a FA submission, the art loads already in full view/full size.
Is there any configuration option to display the art as a thumbnail by default?

No news, good news (I guess)
General | Posted 6 years agoIt's been a while that I don't bring news about my health condition. This usually happens when there's no major info to be shared, thankfully. But still there's people who cares about my condition, so it's more than fair to bring some report. And with that, I totally appreciate their concern. <3
It's been months that I reached remission from my arthritis for the most part. My finger joints still hurts a bit, as well as other articulations occasionally, but my mobility is working fine overall thanks to my medication. This is quite a relief since exactly a year ago I barelly could move my fingers to close a fist, let alone holding a pen properly to work.
Of course, things aren't just a bed of roses. My medication consists on immunosuppressants, which means my body is current under a higher risk of infections. In fact, I got small wounds that got infected twice between 2 or 3 months, and a manifestation of "zoster", a mutation of the chickenpox virus. This usually happens on individuals with low immunity system.
Aside that, I take a weekly dose of vitamin B9 to control the negative effects of my medication on my liver. But I keep doing blood exams regularly to keep tracks on my hepatic factor. I've been reducing the consumption of sugar, not taking alcohol, and should do more exercises. So aside those setbacks, thankfully I'm not dealing with major issues.
About working, I keep focused just on my current commission schedule to avoid more delays. Occasionally I may release new OC adoptables until I'm fine to be available for new commissions, or maybe even start a Patreon.
tl;dr: Aside minor issues, overall I' still in game.
Have a great week everyone! <3

Computer issues
General | Posted 6 years agoI've been getting BSOD occasionally on Windows 10, always when I access Twitter, Gmail or Youtube. The CPU goes crazy before crashing it.
Here's a log from bluescreenview program: https://twitter.com/eltonpot/status.....78487043559427
It's an issue on the driver "ntoskrnl.exe". I dunno how to solve it.

Happy Birthday, BigDad!
General | Posted 7 years agoSlowly but Steady
General | Posted 7 years agoI'd like to bring some news and updates to my fellows. It's been a while since I reported about my routine.
Beforehand, I apologize for the ongoing delays on releasing new samples to my current commissioners. My schedule is still tight with plenty of full colored pieces, which sometimes takes me more time than expected for updates/wrap ups. Also, biweekly I need to reserve a few days to work on stuff outside my commission schedule. Still, I keep working 24/7 to attend most of my clients and I'm always available for them to answer any questions regarding our deals. I've been also avoiding taking new commissions lately, so I apologize to people who keep waiting for an opportunity to get sme art from me. I always appreciate the interest.
Healthwise: it's been a year since last time I reported about my arthritis. I was focused on a keto diet to reduce the joints inflammation process and lost almost 33 lbs (although I gained 11 lbs later when I returned eating some carbs ^^;).
Even during the diet, the inflammation started to take my hands, knees, left shoulder, elbows, hips and ankles. So I forced myself to start a treatment with immunosuppressants. In 4 months the results are finally showing up. I still feel pain in most of my fingers (which makes the drawing process a little annoying), but I can move my joints properly most of the time. It only sucks that the medication is not very kind to my stomach and liver, but we can't expect a tough medication to work without eventual side effects anyway.
Aside that, I'd wish to release more of my own creations, but for now I prefer to keep focused on the pending commissions. Maybe in a later time I'd dedicate some labor on a possible Patreon account, who knows.
The game is still on, and that's what matters. :)

Esther B.'s official design - 10 years!
General | Posted 7 years agoIt came to my attention that it's been 10 years I developed Esther B,'s official design.
I created her in 2001 without planning to be a recurring OC, but in late march 2008 she started to sport a hard hat, bowtie, gloves... and a sadistic personality.
How time flies...
