I know the whole adoptable fad has come and gone, but the two already up are still for sale, and I've got some ideas for more designs, so I might try to make some things again. I still don't expect for anything to actually sell, but I enjoy the creation of the look.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and I do still check up on this page once a year lol. How are you?

Iiiii did it.

Since I'm mostly/mainly a conbadge artist now, so I've shifted all of my conbadge artwork from this account to my, now, new main account.  jaxis-black

All the conbadges I've uploaded here have been moved to my scraps to save people from getting that blue boxed X saying "this image has been removed" in their favourites. I hate that. I don't wish that on anyone else. Plus I've had this account for YEARS and I've collected a lot of faves and comments and I don't want to toss them all away that simply.

Things from scraps like personal character art have been moved back into my gallery to make it look a bit more filled. I feel like once I move again and find my tablet, I'll try to use this account for digital pieces, and the Jaxis account as a strictly conbadge account. But until then, the Jax page is going to be my main account and more active place to watch me.

If you would like to continue watching my art pretty please follow  jaxis-black! You don't have to unwatch this one if you don't want, since one day I hope to upload digital art here again, but I urge anyone reading this to please move over with me. :)

I know I have brought this up before.

Some or most of you may know about my second account which is pretty stagnant and untouched. It was supposed to be a place where I would upload only drawings and art of Jaxis and have a her-centric galleria. But I don't draw her much myself and it's not like I'm ever rolling in money to get commissions of her that I would then post on the page.

I'm still wanting to use the account and I'm feeling now it would be much more suitable to have that FA name be a more main account and write that link on the back of badges instead of sending people to this name. It can get confusing to those trying to find me by Jaxis and never thinking, remembering, or wondering why the account/contact name is 'Eluned'.

But if I switch over, what do I put in it? This entire gallery? (Probably not.) Keep it as a strictly conbadge and Jaxis account? (Probably.) Move all the badges I've done from here to here? Only upload new ones? From here on out?

I feel like moving to a new account is a lot of work and turns people away having to re-add a new thing. Not to mention it would be me having to re-watch the people I follow as well.

I suppose I will think about this further over the next week or two. If I decide to switch, I will do so relatively quietly and re-upload everything I need to upload then announce the switch so people aren't flooded with things in their inbox (unless you're already know of and watch the account. in which case i would suggest un-watch it now, then re-watch it when i announce it later)

Thank you for putting up with me and my flip-flopping decisions on what to do with my accounts and how to strategise everything.

It's pretty impossible for a female with thick thighs to have any sort of "thigh gap" while their legs are narrow or closed completely. This especially includes the chubbier type where you portray thick limbs, hips, and bellies, yet keep a gap by the vagina you can see through to the ass cheeks on the other end. Impossible. This is one of my biggest pet peeves being one of those chubbier, thick thigh, NO GAP AT ALL people. Get your shit straight.

Hello to you though and thank you for the watches and any faves you've given me n_n

I have some "square badges" which have been sketched out with basic canine/feline/one dragon design which I would like to get rid of. I like the idea of doing these for cheaper than a commissioned piece and I'll probably be posting the sketches a couple times so I'm sorry for any spam in the inbox. Just depends how much people are interested and how quickly they get snatched.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm part of some "Artist Beware" list for the fact I take so long with work. Which is why when I open for commissions, no one takes it up.

It would make sense, and I honestly wouldn't be that surprised if I was listed. It would kind of suck, but it is what it is. I just wish I knew where I was listed, if I am.



In other news; All RF badges thus far have been laminated and should be ready for mailing in the next couple days. (and I'm so happy with them, they look even better laminated)

Nothing at all is there right now, and I'm not "moving" and abandoning this account. I'll probably upload the same future things on both accounts, but there you go in case anyone wants to keep up with me if you're deciding to move.

With the combination of:

- Being slow
- Having a poor turn around
- "Underpricing" (so I've been told)
- Not knowing how to price my work
- Getting more joy out of making gift art instead of commissions

I feel like I should just do gift arts for everyone and occasionally take specific commissions. Instead of being "open" for mass commissions. If I see a character I like and I want to make a badge for you, I'm going to make you a badge without asking for anything in return. If you feel the need to want to pay me back, I will strictly take tips of any price in return for it, instead of making up a "commission price" sheet. If you think a badge I make you is worth two dollars, pay me two dollars. If you think a badge is worth twenty dollars, pay me twenty dollars! I'm not going to set a base price anymore.

My only worry about doing this is if I do get a note saying "Hey, I'd like to commission you for a badge", how would I manage that? While I think my idea is suiting for me and the way I work, I also don't want to be taken advantage of. I don't want to take time and effort into making a $20 worthy badge and get paid five bucks for it just because this is my new system.

When it comes to commission specific art, should I say "Okay. I don't have a price sheet, but this is around what I would normally charge for a badge like this. Pay what you feel is worthy of the piece, but please try to keep it fair"? Should I HAVE a price sheet for actual commissions and just aim for only tips everywhere else?


Does anyone have opinions or other ideas on this? I'd love feedback.

So I'm unfortunately not going back on tour in January :( Major disappointment as it is literally a dream tour I could ever hope to be on, but circumstances just aren't in my favour and I have to miss out on it..

However! The good news that comes with all this means I'll have some solid months to be able to work on all these owed conbadges from Rainfurrest during all this time until (hopefully) the next time I tour! I've already got to working and have finished two badges today (minus the name part, background, laminating, etc.. But they're coloured and inked!) and after the New Year I'll hopefully get to drawing again and cranking out more badges. So hopefully you should expect to see new arts in my gallery later in January!

Thank you to everyone (if you're even watching me lol) for being oh so amazingly patient and understanding! I'm hoping to get through a handful of these pretty quick. Fingers crossed!

I can announce what I have been doing since Halloween. :)

I have been out on the road, traveling around the US and into Canada, touring with one of my favourite music artists being their merch girl! :D

This has been a dream come true for me and I feel so lucky and blessed to have been able to say "I got to do this" and gotten this privilege. I've met so many awesome fans and all the other bands on the tour who I'm so happy I get to call my friends now.

I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to go out with this artist again next year as they open for one of my other major favourite bands. Wish me luck that I'll be able to!

I wonder how many furries I'm meeting and don't know it... I think I've met at least two because of obvious reasons (paw star hoodie and a handmade tail), but I wonder who else....

I'm going to be leaving tomorrow around 2pm for a very special roadtrip and I'm going to have to hiatus EVERYTHING until mid December when I return home. No art, no updates, no comments, no faves.. I'll pretty much be falling off the face of the planet except I won't.

So some of you may or may not know I have a second account  jaxis-black, where for right now I have just to store art of Jaxis in one collective spot. Part of me wanted to switch over to that account completely to match with my now main fursona name instead of Eluned, but I have so many watchers here, I don't want to be a hassle on trying to get everyone to switch over with me. (I know how annoying it gets when people constantly switch accounts, I didn't want to give that feeling to anyone) But now I'm wondering if I should even have that account? Here's where you guys come in, because I would like opinions on what idea would be best and what people would prefer to see or have happen --

- Should I keep it was just a house for Jaxis art?
- Should I put all conbadge art over there and leave this account for portraits and actual art-art (for whenever I find my tablet, which could be like a year from now or longer lol)?
- Should I move all Jaxis stuff to this account and not even use the other one?
- Should I officially move to that account?


What are everyone's thoughts on the matter? I know it's not that hard to just click the +Watch button, but I know that annoying feel of having to follow an artist to a new account. Not to mention some reuploads if I go with the moving conbadge art to there. (please note, if I were to go with that, no badge art will be deleted from this account because of the comments and favourites I've received and I don't want to give people that "this file has been deleted" square in their favourites collection)

This being my second RF, and my second furcon since 2009, first time volunteering/working it, meeting with new and old friends.. I had a blast. And I still feel pretty ded. I need to go harder next year though.

I just know that the highlight of my entire weekend was seeing Kihu/F3ral rock the dance Friday night and AGAIN AS RF'S FIRST EVER MUSICIAN ENCORE ON SATURDAY and while I'm not into the dances like.. at all, he was the ONLY reason I attended them this time and they made my night/weekend worthwhile. And allowed me to discover that I can in fact enjoy his set without being totally drunk like I usually need to be for clubbing. So thank you, Kihu, please come back next year.
