I've been super fuckin' lazy when it comes to uploading here.
But casn you blame me? Life's crazy.

Been living here over a year and things are pretty chill~
Working at the Sausage Roll shop:
- Promoted to shift lead at my workplace
- Boss nit-picked/bullied me for the smallest mistakes
- It was so stressful I amost walked a few times
- "Given the choice" [ Read: Blackmailed?] of stepping down or getting fired
- I stepped down, especially because my health was getting SOOOO BAD.
And the biggest thing -
Got engaged to this gay

On Friday I will be free....
Posted 10 years agoSo much uni work, so little time ;~:
This Friday term ends, so I'll be able to actually finish all the art I owe people since I only have one essay to do over the Xmas break~
Then I'm going to do a big commission stream thing for you guys to try and get a bit of cash towards a new shiny tablet!
So look forward to that, but until then wish me luck with this completely unreasonable workload.
Uni will kill me one day.
RIP Ember. She was a good man.

Rough Times: Patreon Suggestions / Would YOU help?
Posted 10 years ago"Where the fuck have you been Ember?"
I'm just going to start by apologising for dropping off the radar again over recent months. Long story short; It's been a really, really rough time. I could bore you all with pages about how one thing after the next has gone wrong for me over the last six months, but I'll spare you the details and just list it as "Shit hit the fan". Exhausting me on an emotional level, and has gone as far as affecting my physical health and well-being.
I'm really hoping to pick up the pieces over the next few months, getting at least -enough- of my life together to get drawing on a regular basis. Should be more artsy with moving back to uni, and hopefully passing it this time...
That said, I've got a solid £20 a month to live off next year after rent, and it's not possible for me to find somewhere else to live (As much as I REALLY wish I could.) and that doesn't include my bills. (Gas/Electric/Food/Phone and I won't be able to travel home, for furmeets either, and no convention/s will be in my budget.)
"Get a job!" I hear you say. Well, the thought has crossed my mind a fair few times, but my counter argument will be this; I don't want to risk failing Again. A normal, part-time day job means I'll have a lot less time and energy to do artistic things, or game related things that will help me get my degree in Computer Games Art. And that's the whole point really~
So. Patreon?
So a few close friends of mine have suggested this Patreon idea (for those who don't know, it's a monthly sponsorship kind of deal.) Which means I could get a little extra income to cover my bills, and keep me creating, drawing and learning. And most importantly, keeping in touch with you guys and not failing uni for the second time.
So what does this mean for you? Well, besides funding me as a struggling creative, you'll get rewards!
I'm not sure of what I can give in return at this point - And I do worry about not keeping up with art rewards should uni deadlines happen. I'm also unsure of what milestone goals to offer. So this is where I'd like you guys to offer your opinions/ideas. I want to give you something you guys want, in return for helping me stay housed and fed.
Some ideas I've had for it (Backer exclusive of course):
- Offer some early access to my work/WIP,
- A free sketch or something a month per backer - personal, like a commission
- Some kind of stream/chat session - FAQ sessions/updates
- Chances to give me feedback/influence on my projects
- Making Ember very happy? I don't know. This is why I need suggestions on what you guys would want!
So yeah, here I am, asking for opinions and ideas~ Any comments would be appreciated!
And you guys are amazing people, stay awesome <3

Bad news... (and commissions canceled/on hold)
Posted 15 years agoThe night before last, My cat, Sandy, didn't eat a thing...
That day, he collapsed with his nose inches from the water in our fountain the the back yard. We bought him in to find out that he was limping/unbalanced when he walked and would prefer just to sit in one place or move up to three feet at a time.
In the evening, we force fed him some later and some cat food jelly/mashed cat food. Kept him warm wrapped up in a blanket and my fleece over the top of him. I stayed up until 3:20 in the morning checking on him every 10/15mins. Trying to warm him up and keep him company/on the blanket.
He moved to the food plate, had some water by his own accord and I got him to eat the tiniest scrap of tuna... So I thought he was getting better considering the food plate is about eight feet from where he was laying.
I went to bed, my mum got up at about 4:15 in the morning (so he was unattended for the whole nothing of an hour) and he'd moved half way across out living room. But y this point he couldn't walk at all.
I was asleep when my parents took him to the vets at about 9am, they came back and told me the vets verdict of "he was in shock, and he's got stones in his bladder" so they were going to flush out his bladder. They done this a little later, and we got a phone call at about 12:30pm saying he's passed away (after they flushed his bladder.)
Yeah. me and my parents went and said our goodbyes. I still have his collar on my desk (it was around my wrist for a while) but he managed to go from fine to... Yeah... In two days. I still have the disbelief that he's gonna come home in a couple of days or something... He's never been affectionate toward me really but he was always -there- ... At six or seven years old he didn't do anything to deserve death...
Beautiful boy. R.I.P. : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4885977/200.....03310002_3.jpg
So yeah. No commissions for a while... I can't work right now.
Please respect Sandy, me and my family with your remarks and comments. Thanks.

Posted 15 years agoWhat I'm Currently sketching can be found in THIS JOURNAL.
Due to FurAffinity not taking into account that the 100 sketch challenge requires linking to 100 profiles, I'm not going to be linking to people's FA accounts in this journal- Rather I will link to the sketch which will link to said persons profile.
Or you can type http://www.furaffinity.net/user/________
The blank being where you would put the person's username. Remember that not everyone has uploaded their sketch from me to their own personal profiles!
Thanks to everyone who has commissioned me, I love you all.
