Some of you must have known that I have chronic migraine which comes and goes almost every day. It's been happening since I was a child. At first my parents thought I had a brain tumor but I didn't. Next, they thought it might come from phychological problem. But seeing phychologist didn't help the pain either. After visiting my last dentist yesterday, I finally know the cause... it's actually from my teeth. I have a crossbite problem. Also known as edge to edge bite problem. It causes the headache, jaw clicking and pain on my shoulder and neck. I need at least $2000 to pay the orthodontist here to fix my lower teeth.

I know I'd like to be a specific canine and bird artist starting this year, but to gather the fund I need, I'll paint people (humanoid characters) again. I hope I can paint arts more often and faster after having my crossbite fixed. It will probably take a 2 year treatment (hopefully just using brace, other methods will be more expensive) but 2 year still sounds better than having constant headache like a physduck for the rest of my life. I have gone through Temporomandibular (TM) pain for 30 years or so in my life... so I hope there will be years when I wake up in the morning without having headache.

I decided this year I'll become a more specific artist again. I will no longer painting human anymore. I will also limit my animal drawing in canine and bird, all in feral forms, so no anthros. I might however create a race of my own from mixing these 2 species... something like a gryphon?

I decided that I want to paint specific theme only now. I'll paint human/humanoid/anthro girls (no more boys) and as for ferals, I'll be limited to canine (including raccoon, red panda, mongoose), critters and birds, any gender. I'll do both genders for pixel art commissions though. :B

Say, do you know any cool events/contests hold by popular artist or big prizes(money, consoles, crafts, anything that are not visual arts as prizes) here? I'm pretty clueless about FA, so I need some guides to show me the ropes around.

I also notice the art banner of FA keeps changing from time to time, is the art made by volunteer members of FA? If yes, how can one suggest one's art?

Is there any shop like Deviantart or better, Zazzle, at FA? where I can upload arts to be sold as merchandise or at least prints?

Last, is there any other furry webs than FA out there? Are they bigger than the community here?
