Summer's here. School's gone for a bit. Work's getting crazier. My friend's are all going to camps. I'm stranded. At home. At work. In the US of A in general... -..-; I need to get out of this place.

Aaanyway... Apparently my year anniversary of joining FA is next week. I've been a furry for longer than I thought... ^^;
Also, I seem to have been getting more watchers of late. Which is weird, because I still kind of suck at... well... everything. <<;
And too all of those watchers, please don't mistake me for someone who posts a journal or three every single day because of this. I post usually one or two a month...
Oh, IMPORTANT TO EVERYONE I WATCH THAT POSTS MUSIC ON HERE! Firefox has betrayed me! I can't listen to the musics of the internet. Which is actually kind of upsetting, because I really kinda love listening to musics... So, yeah, none of my music-y friends take it personally at all if I don't comment or post or anything on your music, It's simply because I cannot. The internet freezes if I try. I'm trying to fix it, but until I do...
Also, I know I haven't been commenting too much on pictures and even less on journals of late. Again, sorry. This is simply because I'm a lazy igwolf, though, so you can hold this against me... (Actually, it's more because I don't want to open my mouth and have something really stupid and/or offensive come out by accident. I cure this shortcoming of mine by simply not speaking...)
And then I randomly noticed that FA's furcon in august is actually less than an hour drive from my home... <<; Weird.
I've been trying to get more into drawing again lately.
I may be grounded until who knows when by the first, because my grades weren't straight A's. O NOES! A C+!? AND B's!? You're grounded FOREVER! D:< Yup, I can hear my dad's voice yelling that at me now... -..-;

For those of you that actually talk to me online (really, why do you want to...? o..o; ), I'm sorry I haven't been online much lately. They tripled my hours per week at work since being demoted. They talked to me today about a sort of re-promotion-ish thing, but I don't know. I'm still considering quitting as a major option. In fact, I used it as an advantage for my drum-major interview the other day. :3 But I'll get into that later. For now, I have no life since I work at least 4 hours every day after school every day except Friday, Friday's already been eaten by things, Weekends are 8 hour shifts at work...
I've got no time... ^^;

Anyway, back to the drum majoring thing (which is like the conductor and leader for the marching band, for those of you who don't know.). When my busy schedule was mentioned during the interview, targeting it as a possible eater of what time I do have, I told them that most of my schedule I could adjust to fit a drum major's lifestyle and that I was fully prepared to quit my job at Shoprite. So, if I get it, I now have an even more significant reason to quit. >:3
The other questions were things like "How would you handle someone challenging your authority, saying that they shouldn't listen to you because they have a higher seat in concert band". This was a good question because I'm actually last seat right now for concert band... ^^; It's not because I'm a poor musician, it's because I never got a chance to try out. I got very ill during seat tryouts and when I got back, I felt it was more important to practice my concert music than work at some still seat tryout piece that didn't really matter in a long run... Anyway, I responded that I'd tell them that I out ranked them in marching band and I had the hat to prove it. (Our band members have big hats. Our band leaders look like they have black bears on their heads... ^^; ) Of course, this lead to a joke about me pointing to my hat and saying "Mine's bigger"... ^^;

All of the questions really targeted one's potential weaknesses. I felt sorry for a freshman that was in my squad this year. The director almost made her cry when he asked her what she'd do if, as a sophomore next year, a senior confronted her... ^^;
I, luckily, felt prepared for all of the questions... which is weird because I had no idea what they would ask or anything. I didn't rehearse... just knew what I'd do, I guess... ^^;

I have finals starting Tuesday. Just one more week and I'm finally done with this madness... Actually, it'll probably get worse... Shoprite will probably discover I'm out of school and book me for even more hours...

Arg! Those fucking asswipe managers of mine demoted me without so much as telling me they did, let alone giving me a warning! >..<
Yeah, I'm now back on cashier with a bunch a damn idiots that all hate me for having a brain. Sucks to be me right now. I mean, I'm pissed off that they did this to me in general, but I kind of understand why (since I had to miss work for like three days due to the operation on my footpaw), but what really aggrivates me now is that they every time I apologised, they just said things like "Oh, it's fine" and "Don't worry about it." And then I suddenly discover today that I've been demoted. And not because they told me so, oh no, that'd make too much Goddamn sense! I had to call to find out my time, get forwarded to like seven different employees that also have no clue, then finally actually come into the store, see my name freshly added on the cashier work schedule instead of the bakery one. So I ask the manager as politely as I can muster "Is it accurate that I'm on the cashier roster?" He responds "Yeah, it is, because you could never come in to work." And storms off like I'M the one who just stabbed HIM in the back. Whats more, I'm now scheduled to work on times when I told them before getting put in bakery that I could not work!
Now, every other teenager on earth and vouch for me, the end of the school year is hectic! The world is going crazy, things come up, sometimes they're mandatory things that interfere with work. Now it's finally starting to cool down so that I wouldn't have to call in and tell them I can't work anymore, and NOW is when they decide to bump me back down instead of being patient for like one more week! Really. ¬..¬ And again I must say, nice of you to tell me I've been downgraded.
Now it seems to me that they're incredibly ungrateful. They should be giving me a raise if anything, not kicking me down a notch. I work my ass off there to be a good employee and put up with all of our obnoxious customers and even do so with a smile and good attitude. Most of our other employees are whiners that just spill all of their problems on their customers and act ultra gloomy, incompetant wastes of skin that spend the whole time they're working making mistakes and talking to other employees or friends that visit, or the type that don't even look at the customer. I get complements on my attitude at work constantly from intelligent customers, my bosses know that too because some of those complements go to them. Now, I'm considering submitting my two-weeks notice, just because I can't put up with them leaving me un or misinformed any longer (I seriously LOTHE being un or misinformed!) I'm not sure if I will, but I AM definently considering it...
Anyway, sorry about that. I just really needed a place to vent some of my fury without maiming/killing some innocent bystander. Yeah, I really am quite pissed off...

Oh, what a day! ^^
It was our first band competition in a long time and quite possibly my last as a Junior. And where better for a competition like that than Hershey Park? :3
The whole bus ride there was just goofing around with friends, which was really exciting because it feels like I never get to actually hang out with most of my good real life friends anymore. Esspecially not all of them at once like that. ^^ And they played Hoodwinked on the ride. Just as a sidenote. Plus, any sleep that I may have lost, I made up... during... freshman band's... profomance... ^^;; (I tried really hard to stay awake, but I've heard their music before. It was boring the first time I heard it and it was boring this time too... ^^; ) The middle part of the day was us all hanging out at Hershey Park. One of my friends was kind of freaking out about not having enough time to ride anything, so she sprinted to the one ride she wanted to go one from the moment we were set loose. Some of my friends ran after her, some jogged, and the rest of us walked. I couldn't rightly run since my footpaw injury was killing me... ^^; After that, we got our awards and got on the bus home. We watched Over the Hedge and most of The Benchwarmers on the way back. Good times. ^^ I'm not going to get into depth, but it was quite a nice bus ride. ^^ Now I'm in an incredible mood. I'm so happy right now, I don't wanna go to sleep because I might wake up in a worse mood... ^^; *sigh* Too bad one can't feel this great all the time, huh? ^^ Anyway, great day! ^^ Just thought I should tell everyone... Yup. My vacation's over. That means everyone's vacation from me is over. It was a great vacation, though... ^^ I caught up on my sleep a bit, got to lay in the sun for awhile (I may not tan well, but I still enjoy the warmth. ^^ ), drew a bit (not much, though, sorry. I never draw much on vacation... ^^; ), and I even got to scuba dive for the first time. ^^ And the food! ... But I'm getting ahead of myself... back to scuba diving.

I must say, right next to flying a plane, scuba diving is probably the more freedom one can feel. In my case, I think it's because I'm free to move around in all three dimentions (X,Y,Z) instead of being so limited by gravity and other forces to the usual two (X,Y). Besides which, there are things scuba diving that you could never see just from snorkeling. It's really pretty difficult to explain it if you don't feel it for yourself, though... But really, if anyone else ever gets the chance to go scuba-ing, I highly recommend you take it.

Going back to the food, Mexican cuisine in Mexico beats the hell out of Taco Bell or anything like it! Unfortunately (for me and anyone else who can't stomach seafood, anyway... ) alot of the dishes contain something from the sea in them. Shrimp or fish or something. I'm sure it's delicious for those of you that can eat that kind of stuff. But I always managed to find something delicious to eat, so it's still all good. ^^

Anyway, all that aside, I am back. As mentioned, I drew a bit. nothing very good, though. I'll probably post two in scraps and one as a submission. I'm not much of an artist on vacation... ^^;

I'd much like to know if anything important happened in my absence, so if anyone would like to tell me...

Until then, I'll be in Mexico, relaxing on a beach somewhere. It's not that I don't want to talk to you all whom I do have and IM my screen names. It's just that I probably won't have internets where I'm staying this week. As such, I'll probably just have to have one of those "Real-life" things until saturday. Oh well, it'll still be fun... Just what the title says. I updated my page with a slew of crappy picutres that may cause some heads to go boom (if I'm lucky...) and definently make me feel even more crappy than I already am. Althought I'm sure you've al already noticed all of the crap that I've now spammed your submission boxes with. Sorry. And yet, I'm not. Go figure.

I'm not entirely sure why, but I'm in one of my foulest moods ever right now. I don't really want to talk to anyone right now. I'm not emo or anything, my wrists are still clean and I still believe that living is a good thing and all that, I'm just in a terrible mood. Example, I felt like I needed most of my patience to keep from striking at one of my best friends today just because he didn't shut up when I told him to. I hate getting this way. It's not fun. I really wish I could just snap myself out of it and go back to being my moderately tolerable self instead of this thing that not even I wants to be around. But I can't. I guess I'll just get over it when I get over it, like always. How vexing. Oh well. As long as I can maintain enough self-control to keep from doing something stupid, I'm okay, right?

Okay, bad news, the virus infecting my computer is, appearently, invincible. The only way to beat it seems to be reformatting the hard drive and I have some pretty important stuff on this computer that I can't back up thanks to said virus.

Good news, I'm finding ways to work around the virus. I've discovered that I can use another computer that I have access to to IM people. Aren't you all just so glad that you'll be able to be annoyed by- Erm... I mean- talk to me again? ^^; I've also discovered that even with everything that the virus DOES kill on my computer, my scanner and picture files are not included. So everyone also gets and oppurtunity(sp?) to view my new craptacular art. ^^;

Aside from that, news. New Jersey State makes really bad standardized tests. I actually used that to my advantage to take a shot at them with the last section creative writing essay (picture prompt). It's esspecially fun because it's on topic and well written, so they can't grade it poorly. =D In you're face, HSPA test!

Also, I couldn't help but notice that one of the questions on the test was about the vast majority of wing colouration of moths changing and why. Nothing too out of the ordinary about that, right? Not until you look at the possible answers (multiple choice part) and notice that one of them is "The moths bred with other species." ...
... Hm.
I dunno, this just seemed like an appropriate place to throw that out there... ^^;

My computer is currently being plagued by a virus. T..T
Appearently it set in while I was at work. It's making it tough to do much, I can barely change pages online, trying to activate most programs basically makes it ask if I want the computer to kill all of its files, and I can't use anything search or system explore related. at all. I can best sum it up with the following: "This really, really sucks..."
It's not making it easy, but I (think I) can still get pics on the computer. I'll try to upload a bit if/when I can... but no promises. -..-; Also, even when I have time now, I'm not going on instant messangers. I don't want to risk it transmitting to anyone else though them. I'd also suggest that anyone who has spoken to me over an IM in the past month or so run a system scan if you have any anti-virus software. It's probably not on your computers, but better safe than sorry, yes? ^^;

Just thought I'd give everyone the heads up...

(oh, and it shows a wizard on the screen who watches the cursor (though he laggs doing so) and displays a gold trophy if you click on him with either right or left... if that helps anyone at all.)

I would appear to be back from the dead. I was kind of stuck sick in bed for about a week, if anyone's wondering where I was... ^^; Kind of funny, really. O, indeed. I've been particularly angsty at school lately. Lots of things. Like insomnia. It sucks. Esspecially when you're forced to have only a five hour window of sleeping oppourtunity to begin with. Then I started my math final this week, which is my worst subject as is. Got SAT prep early saturday and work later...

Really old. I was sick of it. I needed a next-gen avatar. (*straps a bayonet to it* Inside joke that my friends and I are conspireing to turn into an internet joke. Happy Happy holidays indeed to all my furry friends out there. ^^ Sorry I haven't been around much, I kind of been abusing my holiday priviledges(sp?). Meaning, I'm only aloud on video games during the break because of my semi-permanent grounding. I used that to go out and buy myself a Nintendo Wii. ^^; It really wasn't too planned. I went to EB to buy a new game or two and they just happened to have gotten a shipment of Wii two hours or so earlier. There were two left so I nabbed one. ^^ (The other one was purchased some five minutes later. ) It's a very cool, fun gaming console, but enough about that...

Sorry I STILL haven't updated my art (if you can even call what I draw that) in so long. My whole computer is having serious problems now. There's only about a 75% chance that it won't lock up if I only surf the web and never run into anything like a flash movie. It kinda sucks. Oh well. I'm having too good of a time being alive right now to let that get me down. I'll just have wish I was dead because I can't use the internet without my computer exploding later, I guess... ^^;

So, the internet hates me and stuffs. If no one's seen me online for awhile, don't worry, I'm not mad and/or vanishing or anything. My internet and and computer in general are just broken is all. All my IM programs are all wacked out because of it, so... yes. And when it IS working, it seems like I always am also. School-work, homework, work-work, it's all evil and eating my life lately. Oh yeah, scanners still busted too... I've now got a small pile of things I need to upload because of it.

So, yeah, highlight of my week, actually, was just a few moments ago. I got to completely shoot down one of those lifeless loserly types. You know the kind, the kind that picks one person and just spams them with the most senseless drivel imaginable? Trying to make them feel bad about stuffs when they've got nothing to feel bad about? yeah, that kind. He decided he'd target me, the funny thing was that I was the one baiting him the whole time instead of the other way around, like usual. I beat down a few idiotic things he said to get him riled up, then completely and utterly... ignored him. ^^ It gets funny, the kind of things they'll resort to saying to try to get one to bite after that. ^^

... Yes, it's been a slow week, where THAT was my highlight. ^^;

how the heck should I know?! (I mean really, someone as cold, cynical, and morbid as me being in love... Only thing less likely would be someone in love with me, methinks... ^^; )

Anyway! Stuff and such. For example, my scanner's still busted. *shivers* More recently, I'm quite sick all of the sudden. I have a terrible headache, dizziness, hot and cold flashes, lack of sleep (resulting from the rest of the symptomes, mostly), and occational fits of fatigue. Needless to say, it is SO not fun being this sick! But I digress... ^^;

Trying (another) new game now. It's called Gunster. Quite fun says I. On the downside, though, it's rather unstable and can only be run on IE with a firewall completely down. Plus, like everything now adays, it's riddled with hackers... What the heck goes though those people's heads anyway? Is it fun to them to ruin a game for not only others but themselves? Well, whatever the cause, they're seriously annoying...

Anyone wondering about the title of this journal? Is it just there to be funny with the opening paragraph, or is there some real meaning? Well, a little bit of both, to be honest. I'm not really going to get into it now, though. Mostly because my cold flash that was making me shiver while wearing double flannel in a 75 degree room has just turned into a hot flash and now I need to find something cold so I don't sweat out my organs... ^^;

It's really quite frustrating...

I've gotten into a game called Trickster. It's actually not too bad.
Oh yeah, and I'm (supposed to be) trainning for a higher position at my work place... which is weird because I just made my first major error since beginning work there... *shrugs*

Oh yeah, I'm going to get a violin. ^^ I've wanted to try playing violin for a long (long,long,long,long,long...) time now, so this is quite happy for me. ^^

There are more, of course, but that's the bigger stuffs. The last one is a particular new project. Chances are that it won't be posted here, even when(/if) completed, just because... But anyway, need to write a 50,000 word novel. Not too bad, yes? Problem is, it needs to be done by the end of the month... o..o; A-Anyway, you all don't want to hear about all the issues with my life, do you? Just thought someone might want to know why if I acted a little aggrivated or sarcastic, or depressed or... Oh wait, I'm repeating myself... ^^; Okay, moving on...!

I'm trying to draw at least one picture a day lately. It's not really an improvement of art thing (since I know my art is pretty much crap as art, it's just funny or cute or something, I dunno... ) It's more of a thing where I looked at my recent subbmissions and realized that I could still see the ones from when I first joined... roughly 4 months ago... ^^; For those of you who actually want to see things a I draw more often, yay. For those of you who don't, *shrugs* I dunno, don't look at 'em or something...

What else, what else...? Ah, yes, I remember now, I wanted to (believe it or not) thank everyone watching me here on FA. This is going to sound really, REALLY corny, but due to what may very well be a mental breakdown courtesy of Shoprite (where I work) and school (where I work without pay) I simply don't care. Everyone on here has just be really kind to me and I've gotten such a warm welcome to the community, (almost <<; ) eveyone has been really quite respectful of me and my personality, I'm just really grateful for everything. Maybe I'll expalin a bit more about why and everything some other time, but for now my sanity is starting to return and I feel my normal urge to be secretive.<<;

And furthermore... actually, there's nothing else, I'm quite done.^^; (now that I've taken a nice big chunk out of everyone's lives who actually read all of this that they can never get back. Sorry. ^^; )

(In case there's someone here who hasn't noticed yet, I'm quite over my eerie state of depression. Yes, I was mostly over if after a good night's sleep. Our utter victory at the Stanford Marching Band Competition kicked the metaphorical crap out of the rest of my depression-ish-ness.)
(One more quick thing about that, I'd like to apologise again to anyone that I may have negetively affected while in that state. I truely am sorry, I think I'll just vanish for a while next time I feel like that to keep from doing anything I'll regret again... )

First of all, let me just say that was one hell of a great birthday! (pardon my French...) Sure, unless there's something the internet isn't telling me, I got almost no gift art (almost because there was a single sheet of lyrics for a theme song of me that I got about two weeks early that the author even admits they didn't really put much effort into.)... But in general real life, my birthday was awesome! I didn't really get any gifts on the spot, which I was starting to find disappointing (I got some MTG cards, and a couple of shirts, to be exact, on my birthday...) Until I opened the card from my parents. It was an I.O.U. ... For a cellular phone (kinda yay) and a pet lizard (SOOOO yay! XD ). I thought that was the great suprise they kept saying they had for me, but no, it got better. I also, to finish off my birthday, got to go to a Yellowcard concert. I'm not an outragiously huge fan of Yellowcard or anything, but I still think their music is pretty cool. It's so much cooler to watch them live than listen to the CD, though! Esspecially the violinist. First thing he does after the show starts is, during a song, climbs on top of a speaker and does a backflip off of it. It was pretty awesome...

Okay, I really have to keep in mind that people don't always think things they read sound the same as I intend... ^^; I realized this again after I was in school today, way after I could edit this before anyone noticed what I did. When I started whining about not getting any gift art above, I was SO just kidding! I wouldn't really whine about something so shallow as not getting gift art like that. If you want to make some for me, great, I'd love it. I love all gift art for me. Dunno why, just do. I think everyone loves getting gift art though, so at least I know I'm not (even more) crazy (than suspected).

Quite possibly much more importantly, I was also just joking when I whined about the gift art I did get. I would absolutely NEVER do something like that and be serious. Never! I really, REALLY appreciate that you made that gift for me not only on time, but early. I would like to publicly apologise for that misunderstanding. I just hope you'll forgive me. You know who you are. ^^

And back to news about the birthday-ish-ness, I got my new lizard. ^^ He's a mali uromastyx. I was thinking I might name him General... Don't know why...

Um... that's all to report for this journal... I think.

Sunday the 8th. Just thought I'd let everyone know, I probably won't be around tomarrow or said 8th, however. Band competition, from which my parents are keeping me for a "special suprise". Who knows, might be something good. *shrugs* Either way, the point is that I won't be around. (provided anyone really cares.) So if I don't comment on something or drop by to say "hi" like usual, that's why (Again, provided anyone cares.). So, well, be back later on 8th or ealier on 9th, I guess.

# Sorry about sounding kind of... what's the word... Emo. I swear, I'm not emo. I'm just suffering from a bit of sudden and random depression coupled with a lapse of mental stability... Who knows why. Not I. Any way, with any luck, I'll be over it by the time I get back. (and don't worry, by lapse of mental stability, I didn't mean I might do something stupid like kill myself.
