Life went to HELL long story short.
It was ever so much murphy's law... but now at least I stumbled into a part time job so I can run away to that.

My Baby is Banged up Part 2!
Posted 15 years agoSomething Bit him right under the joint of his elbow. Probably nicked a tendon which made his limp worse but I'm told he'll be A-ok! No broken bones just slightly inflamed! He had a temp so he's on meds and they flushed out the bite which didn't impress him at all. But sweet baby that he is he didn't claw or bite at all... he even let them shave the injury sight without any fuss or struggle. He did however burry his head in my armpit when they took his temperature.
He's a BIT cranky and tired from the trip but he's ousted the dog from HIS bed so I think he's feeling better...and is curled up like a master Yogi, though still guarding the leg.

My Mehos - my blue point siamese...who almost never sits 'normally' and howls outside shower doors to save you... has an injury just below his right elbow. I thought it was a puncture at first but now I'm worried it might be a compound fracture of the smaller bone in his arm (Pray not!!)
I've sent messages to the vet and their going to call/email back if they can fit him in.
I don't trust the local emergency vet for a few reasons, and I won't name names I'm sorry... but I'd be there if I trusted them with the well being of my cat...and I don't.
Please send good wishes and hope with me that I'm worrying a LOT more than is actually wrong...

Posted 15 years agoWhy... is this the second time that I've been hit on by someone who was -married- with KIDS.
I realize that people cheat but somehow it just seems more...awful to me when you have kids at home.
Especially -little- kids.
One fella brought the kid by to MEET me and then asked how I felt about divorced men. *head-desk*

1) I always feel guilty when I get mad. But don't think that I won't get mad and mean it.
2) I firmly believe in second chances, but first and foremost I believe in first impressions.
3) Even when people have really hurt me, I have a hard time letting go.
4) Laugh if you will, but I'm afraid of 'deep intimacy' if you catch my drift.
5) I'm really fussy about who touches me. I try not to admit this because I have offended before, but if I don't mind you touching me, its actually pretty rare.
6) I color -really- slowly. The more requests at one time that I have for colored art the more I balk. I'm trying hard to fix it but I keep running into the most impatient people ever ((turn around in a day? Augh sorry no))

1. I have liked you back for a long time, I meant every word of it... I hope I'm not too fast, but I fear that I'm always too slow. After my last two encounters, I'm afraid not so much of being hurt... but of hurting someone else. I'm sometimes prone to what I call "emotional shut down"...and I never want to put you through that.

I get that its involving, so are your computer games... but your the one who said you'd be lost if you lost us... How am I to believe thats true when I'm not worth your time?
I also don't get you... congrats on sounding damned offended when people -speculated- that the mass RP we have going, might wind up with -that- person getting even more 'special' characters. You know what? We're not -thick- we see trends and we see what's happening. Why bother pretending? Why be offended when no one agrees to pretend to be thick.
4. YOU talk to me when you want money, that's pretty much the only time. We -dated-... yes it was short, and yes you -say- you still love me. But I feel like all you really wanted was the rent. I'm not a cash cow. Don't make me feel bad that I'm without a job, that I'm not sending money, or that I've been "quiet"... no wonder I've been quiet, YOU never say anything unless its to admit you can't be buggered to work any harder than you absolutely must. It frustrates me to no end. Congratulations 'work depresses you'... you selfish shallow shit... go finish your Sex-ting with my married friend.
5. You just need to grow up, your on your own now and you have a lot of responsibilities. I've gotten over -your- little guilt trips. I have time to get irritated with you now, I can see when you bait for a fight now too. I still want to take that bait sometimes, I do... But I just got -bitten by one of the little SOB's and -sprayed- to boot. Whatever it is the little twits spray smells GOD awful too, for once I say thank GOD for heavily perfumed soaps because I just had to rinse my neck. ((and man does the bite smart))

Posted 15 years agoI am SO sorry I haven't been around, we're having a touch of "internet" trouble here, in that it will NOT stay connected. Bad enough that I'm on dial-up but when it refuses to speak to the phone lines its just been a nightmare.

Posted 15 years agoI'm sorry I'm not keeping up with the shouts!! It's not like I'm drowning them either so that's kind of embarrassing @.@
I do keep having power outs thanks to a recent storm, their still cleaning up all the downed trees and wire carnage. Thank heavens we weren't one of the houses that had a tree fall on it, one of our townies got their house bisected by a very old oak. It was the one night the gentleman hadn't slept on the couch in the last 4 years. If he had he would have been squashed. ((Good Karma?))
Anyhow!! Thank you all SO much for the shouts, the welcomes, the faves <3

Now I just gotta get out and add more people to my watch list!!

I do have some art to submit and I'll be doing that very soon I promise! Actually one is a pencil piece that my friend lilwerewolfgirl is going to be helping me ink and color <3
