kinda, not feeling super 100% but i need to open again cuz ppl are waiting for the opening lol. I'm still working on finishing up the last 2 comms, this month has certainly been one. roller coaster of stress and not having time to really do anything but it's fine. i miss back in 2018-2019 when i could just do 3-4 a month consistently.

Posted a year agoheyo! been a while since i've streamed on Picarto. I finally got around to setting my obs up again (I transitioned from my mac laptop to building my frist PC last year in early October haha so I've been slowly setting everything up again). So, testing out if everything works and gonna be trying to work on some commissions while im at it, get at least some stuff done before I'm away for the rest of the month :D

No comm opening for July
Posted a year agoAs with most people, the Elden ring dlc has slurped me up so comms and art are gonna be slow as I'm fighting with the intense urge to binge more than I already have been.
So I'll be using this month and next month to finish up comms, which actually works since I wasn't going to open next month anyway as I'm traveling for a decent portion of July and will be unable to post/work much :]

Hey I'm a bit backlogged/struggling with art motivation as i've been pretty stressed the past month haha. So in the meantime, while I work on finishing up my remaining commissions, I wanna set up a raffle since I've been at 2k for a bit now, just haven't found the time to celebrate :,D

This is so exciting
This takes a lot of the stress of not knowing off me now and I can finally post the portfolio pieces I've been hiding from y'all

?? guys it's apparently been 7 months since I last opened my normal comms????? I didn't realize it's been that like long holy fuck I'm so sorry lmao. Well like the last time classes are back but I'm feeling pretty good with motivation atm, been doing some experimenting with personal art which y'all have already seen some of and I'm feeling pretty good about it, I've been really trying to push myself to improve lately so I'm hoping to show that improvement!

Hello! I'm still not dead! Gonna open some quick sketch commissions with no background. Kinda like last year but this time I'm gonna try it with 2 or more characters! It will be a flat price of $70 per character and you can choose between it being flatcolor or shaded. Feel free to submit multiple ideas if you have multiple. I can't promise I can get through all of the submissions but I'll work on as many as I have the motivation for!

✧ The commission forms will be open for as long I have motivation to do this.
✧ Fill out and submit your form. Feel free to submit multiple responses, I'm willing to choose multiple per person.
✧ Responses will be reviewed and chosen on my terms (free time and comm complexity).
✧ I do not know how many of these I will take. That is determined by my motivation to keep taking them.

Don't be discouraged if your commission was not chosen, it is usually the case that there are too many good ones to choose from and I can't take all of them at once. I will be going through the list until I run out of motivation and/or time.

Existence update
Posted 2 years agoHeyo, it's been a bit, im still alive. Just thought I should give an update on my status. Been kinda in and out of existing, it's been hard to keep up with things lately and it's half cuz of mental health and half cuz the end of my semester is here so I've been busy. Deciding on some changes too with classes and im attempting to go into an art major for animation and illustration so I've been putting together a portfolio for my application, which is part of the reason I've been kinda gone. Though, when I get either accepted or declined I will post the new pieces I drew for my portfolio. im hoping that all goes well and I get accepted.
If I do manage to get accepted I will start learning and focusing on animation which could be a neat thing to learn that could allow for more comm types for y'all. Im still working with psychology too which will end up either being a major or minor.
Either way, I've been kinda bleh, big life changes that have been affecting me a lot and I'm not super used to things being the way they are quite yet. You'd think when you make decisions about your life that'd you'd be able to just,,, adapt quickly to them since they are your choice, but alas that's not the case. Mental health is kinda meh, could be better and could be worse. Anxiety affecting me physically off and on again, not super bad but it still makes it hard to deal with every day tasks sometimes.
I'm alive tho. I'll be focusing on finishing up my last two comms (which thank you Duck and Vraeryn for being patient with me) and I'll see what I wanna do from there. It'll either be taking a break, opening comms again, or trying out some more ychs :3
Thank y'all for your patience with me in general, I feel bad for not really being able to be super active anymore. I want to draw, I'm exhaused by everything, then I loose motivation and I get upset cuz I feel like I'm not doing enough, which just makes me emotionally exhausted, and repeat. Not the best cycle but it is how it is. Hopefully summer break will help with that.

Slots have been chosen for this month! There were a lot of really good ones aaaa ;;
I've chosen less complex comms again (mostly without backgrounds and stuff) so that I can warm back up to doing comms as it's been a couple months since I've opened (also i've got classes again) <3
Also, to anyone who submitted a form and wants to have their form kept for next month, please let me know asap! I usually clear the forms that didn't get a slot, so I'd need to know soon otherwise the form will be deleted! (I'll maybe go through and clear when it's time to open again so yall arent super stressed if u missed this journal by a few days and want the form to stay :D )

It's been a while since I've done some normal comm openings, so here they are! Classes are back up so I'll still be a bit more busy than usual and I'm still struggling with motivation so I'll probably only take a few of these for now.

Posted 3 years agoI dont have an image finished so I'll celebrate in journals! I'll probably do a proper recap of this year when the new year comes around either in a journal or my 2022 art recap.
The year has certainly been one of the years of all time,, a lot of stressful and shitty things have happened but I feel like that's kinda just become the norm nowadays, and it's nothing I can't get through. Though, despite the not so fun stuff, there has been a lot of good too. I couldn't be more thankful for the people who are with me now and the friendships we've created and maintained. Your love and support has really helped me a lot. Even if some of us don't talk as much as we used to or just don't have a lot to talk about, please know that I do love and cherish you so much, especially some of you who have been with me for so long (you know who you are).
This isn't just towards my friends, the love and support all of you show me when I occasionally show up here has helped me push through a lot of things and I'm so grateful to have so many of you who have stuck around and like my work! I'm hoping that I'll be able to do a lot more in the coming year but I said that last time and got super swamped with college stuff so we'll see! regardless, I'm always looking forward to bring content for y'all to enjoy and I hope to continue to be able to <3
I hoped to have a piece drawn for today but I've been super busy with holiday preparation and things in general that I don't have anything done,, yet, but I wish y'all happy holidays!
