Hey! so it's been a couple months since I've updated y'all, I've been having kind of a rough time with juggling classes and just other stuff. Over October I rarely had any time for art + just being burned out from emotional issues in general so I will be continuing Spookify me comms throughout November. I will finish up the forms I currently have in queue, tho I will not be accepting any new forms. I originally wanted to open comms this month but I think given my current energy level and mental state, it's for the best that I take it slow for the time being.
I do have some things I want to try out during December. For about a year now, maybe more, I've played with the idea of trying out a ych, I've gone through a couple ideas already but things just keep coming up and I push it back even further. I will make it a goal to get one out during December though.
I've been meaning to try to be more interactive with y'all; doing more general updates, doing more fun things like raffles, and polls for what y'all wanna see me draw.. but if I'm gonna be completely honest, this past year and a half has been a big-ass shit show for me, just one thing after another and when I think things are finally calming down and I get a break, another thing starts. I'm just so incredibly exhausted, but I'm hanging in there.
I wish I could just inject motivation and energy into me cuz my god this is slowly killing me. I feel so out of it.

it's time for spookify me! SO I'll be doing these very slightly different this time. The spookify me comms will be sketches with a simple background (optional) and shaded (shading complexity depends on image). You can, however, add color with an added fee. I do not have a lot of time for art and stuff due to class demands and just general lack of motivation which is why I'm doing it this way, and hey, if it ends up being something ppl enjoy I may do it again like this next year!
Spookify me price: $50-$80 (headshot/bustshot-fullbody)
Added color: +$10
I can't promise I will get to all of them since I will be doing this slowly over the course of the month but I will try! I think next year I will start these from September - October.
So this will work similar to how it did last year. You tell me a concept or a key word or 2 (or if u want artistic freedom that works too) and I make your character spooky based off those concepts. YOU CAN ALSO ASK FOR PROMPTS I HAD FROM LAST YEAR!
If you would like any of these special topics (or anything that's not listed) LET ME KNOW IN YOUR FORM PLEASE otherwise I will not add them or do the comm with them in mind! There are section in the form where you can specify what you'd like. If you'd like any/all of them then you just have to say you'd like any of them and I'll choose a few and do what I want with it!

Slots have been chosen for this month! There were a lot of really good ones and i would love to do more of the ideas after spooky month if y'all want ;;
I've chosen less complex comms this time (mostly without backgrounds and stuff) due to sickness (yay) and classes being a lot this semester, tho I'm hoping by the time spooky month comes around and past that I will not be sick so I can feel safe taking more complex comms! I just dont wanna like start a comm and then realize it's too much for me to handle cuz I'm feeling shitty <3
Also, to anyone who submitted a form and wants to have the same idea submitted for November (when i'm back to doing normal comms) please let me know asap! I clear the forms that didn't get a slot every time slots have been chosen, so I'd need to know soon otherwise the form will be deleted!

I want to give a heads up that classes have started and I am super busy with notes and homework so my art will be a bit slower for the time being (I have been getting some time to at least doodle and such, but finishing personal art is not a priority atm).
However, I do want to keep doing comms this month since it's a good way to take a break from constant classwork which will ultimately keep me from getting depressed again (hopefully) :,)
I do plan on October to be taking some form of spooky comms, whether it's something like the sketch me form comms I did where you submit a form and I do them mostly in order/what I have the motivation for, or something like what I did last time which was a pay what you want that was first come first serve.

Posted 3 years agoso uhh,, i was hesitant to announce that I'm gonna be participating in artfight for the first time because im gonna be pretty busy during July since Kalian is coming to visit me,, but I might as well let ppl know :]
I will warn y'all that I am most likely not going to be super active or be able to respond to all attacks (if there are many) but I'll try my best to keep up. Motivation and time limitations (plus wanting to do the rest of these sketch comms + last comm over the course of the month) will determine how active I am.
I do, however, enjoy doing art trades with ppl and this gives a fun way to kinda do that without the awkward having to approach someone :,)
I will do attacks, friendly-fire, and revenge :] I am also team Wither!

No usual comm openings + pride month
Posted 3 years agoSo I'll be taking a break this month from the usual comms to work on already existing wips + a comm that will probably take a while. To do personal art basically. I've been wanting to do more personal art/worldbuilding art. So I'm sorry to those who are just here for mh art or dragons but I'll be subjecting y'all to humanoid art xD
HOWEVER because it is now pride month I may do some quick pride doodles (like surprise me sketches maybe) (or YCHs if i get the time to doodle some poses) :]

Finals week update :]

Just a heads up that my semester is coming to an end this and next week which means finals week is next week! I will be busy until May 12th, which will be when my last final is scheduled and then I'll be free for the summer :D
I'm prepared for comms to take a bit longer than initially expected due to finals week and me being unable to work on them until after the 12th, since I have to study/work,, but all that'd do is maybe have comms bleed a little bit into the next month. That will either end up with me just taking next month off to finish them up and relax or I'll take only 2 or so comms that month once I've finished the queue for this month. We'll have to see how it goes and how I feel. In the meantime, good luck to y'all who are in the same boat as me and I hope those of you who are on break or just don't have work/school have a wonderful beginning of summer!

Going with form commission again this month! I think I'll either just open on the 1st of each month to make it easy to remember (+ I get the full month to work on comms >>) or on a Friday and have the forms run over the weekend and pick on Monday. At the moment we're doing Fridays to Mondays!

We're going to try something a little different this month! Hopefully this will be a lot more chill compared to the first come first serve slot openings that y'all are used to. This is fairly simple to do, you just click the link at the very bottom, fill out the form, and wait for me to review and choose the commissions I am interested in taking this month. There's no need to stress over timing since the form will be open for 2 days (They will open from 11pm on Friday to 11pm on Sunday MDT) and the commissions will be chosen on Monday.
