Anyone able to help me with making a fursuit? PLS READ
Posted 7 years agoAs the title says I'm probably crazy but yes I want to make myself a fursuit and I've been looking at various tutorials but I also want to get advice from people who've been in the fursuit community who can give me some pointers, or perhaps even point me in the direction of some people who know how to do stuff like make 3D led animated eyes or glowy claws and whatnot.
Even more crazy is, I'm kiiinda hoping to be able to have this done before late October so I can take it to Pax Australia in Melbourne (assuming I have enough money in time to even go)
Also if anyone can point me in the direction of some Australian fursuit makers, I'd really appreciate it. If not, no worries. (would prefer to keep it local so that I don't get killed by ridiculously expensive shipping costs)
Don't worry if you can't help. Just if you know anyone that does fursuit stuff that could point me in the right direction would be immensely appreciated <3
Where I've Been At Lately
Posted 7 years agosorry guys and girls for my lack of activity here. I've been fairly busy with some other stuff lately and I've also been getting into streaming on Twitch more. I know I still have things to do for people here and I do apologise. There is however a more recent issue that's prevented me from doing things like AU buttons and such, and that is the simple fact that my main desktop computer that I used for art, animation, gaming, etc died about 2 weeks ago now and I've been trying to sort out getting a suitable replacement for it in that time.
I have a little 2011 macbook that I'm currently using to write this up but sadly it's good for little else other than browsing the internet, hanging out on discord, watching youtube, watching livestreams and the like. Have no worries, I shall be back soon enough!
Till then, keep safe & have fun!
~ Aura
Also does anyone have some good tutorials or tips for making fursuits? I've been looking at making myself one for Pax this year in Melbourne (gaming convention for those that might not be aware)

Helping Out A Friend
Posted 8 years agoSo I have a friend who's recently come to FA and could really use some folks to help give him some feedback on his art. He really is quite good so I thought I'd ask you lovely people for a favour and go check him out.

Be nice to him, he's only a pain sometimes (I'm joking he's actually a really cool guy to talk with ^^)
Not Dead after all

Apologies for the lack of activity here on my part. Since I've been drawing away from the vorish/fetish side of the furry community, I've been more active on deviantart than here because I thought perhaps people would not be interested in seeing it for some reason. I do apologise since I've realised I have a lot of good friends here that I've let down. So I do apologise for such shallow thinking.
So what have I been up to? Well mostly Undertale related things, working on my own AU there, doing UT and OC related animations (not vorish) and working on improving my art in general. I don't know if I'll be taking more commissions just yet but I do plan to finish up some commissions I still have long overdue and then perhaps I'll see about more.
I also plan to sometime this year open up, or rather properly set up my Patreon. I know many may not be able to donate but I am curious if that is indeed something people might be interested in.
Journal is kinda short and there's a fair few things I probably need to post up from deviantart but I'll do that later.
For now and take care lovely people! <3
Good Buddy of mine doing Commissions! Go Check Em Out!
Posted 9 years agohttp://www.furaffinity.net/commissions/artan118/
So one of my online besties is trying out commissions. They're really cheap but good quality. So if you can, please go check him out and maybe get a commission from him. He really does do great work for a reasonable price. I'll be shortly posting up the picture he did for me as a gift that he's using as an example of the head shots he's doing.

End of the Line and Future Plans - VERY IMPORTANT READ!!
Posted 9 years agoNo I'm not quitting art but I am finally at the point now where I can't put it off any longer. While it's been fun and I've made so many amazing friends because of it, my interest in the vorish aspect of rps and art has run its course and as such I WILL NO LONGER BE TAKING COMMISSIONS OF THIS TYPE.
For those that have followed me and been part of my journey over the years, thank you for all the happy memories, fun and friendships but now I feel it is time to move on and focus my attention on achieving my dream goal of being a professional animator working for places like Dreamworks or Pixar.
So what does this mean now?
Firstly, just because I no longer find interest in this area it does NOT mean that I will cut off all ties with those that do still enjoy it. I will still be friends with you if I was before. Nothing has changed there.
I plan to finish up current commissions involving it but after that it will be added to the list of things I won't draw. In addition, I feel its not helping me currently work to improve my artwork by compelling me to learn techniques and subjects I may not be all that skilled at ( such as humanoids, machinery, etc. )
If there are any pictures you wish to keep you may go ahead and save those, since I will soon likely be starting the process in the next week or so of stashing/removing such material from my gallery.
I apologise if any of you had plans to commission me to draw vorish scenarios but I feel it's only fair to both you and myself so that you don't end up with a picture that's not as great as it could have been and I don't then feel bad because I know I didn't put my all into bringing the idea you've paid good money for me to bring to life.
So all in all, it's been a great ride but now I feel its the right time to move on to other things. Thank you all for your support and if you wish to unwatch me because of my decision then I will respect your choice. I won't hold it against you <3 .
I also wish to give out a heartfelt and HUGE thank you to those who gave me my start all those years ago and without whom I would not be where I am on the Internet today.
In particular, I owe a lot to
Prowler7 who was kind enough to take a chance on a fledgling artist. I will forever be grateful that you took that chance and even after so many delays on my part, you had an insane amount of patience and allowed me the opportunity to showcase my skills which no doubt helped encourage others to take a chance on me also.

Emergency Commission Update
Posted 9 years agoLong story short: my buddy artan118 has gotten a new laptop and so these commissions are no longer needed technically. However I will still keep them open should people wish to purchase budget artwork from me.
In case you missed or I forgot to specify the rules they are as follows:
- Safe For Work only. Pretty standard for any of my artwork really.
- These are cheap and designed to be easy for me to complete quickly, therefore [b] they will generally be flat coloured images only. [b] I will also most likely be avoiding drawing internal shots if the commission involves vore if at all possible if only for the simple fact that they are a bit more complex and take a bit more time to do.

Fursuit Makers Wanted
Posted 9 years agoHave been looking around on facebook for this but thought I'd ask around on here too.
In order of preference:
Any fursuit makers -> Australian fursuit makers -> Queensland based -> Brisbane/Ipswich based (preferred to be local so it doesn't cost me a small fortune in shipping )
I've had an idea for a suit for quite a while and I intended to make it myself but I find I lack the time to do it so I'm looking for any fursuiters that can help me bring Aura to life. It will be a partial suit and as I can't afford it all at once, I'll be looking to have it made a few pieces at a time ( ie tail, paws, etc. )
I understand if its a lot to ask of makers.
So if anyone knows of some suit makers, please comment down below!
Furry Network
Posted 9 years agoJust to be clear I AM NOT MOVING NOR DELETING MY ACCOUNT FROM HERE
but due to the recent hacking issue with FA, I thought it would be best if I backed up everything onto FN so that should FA go down again, people can reach me on FN.
Again, I'm not leaving or deleting my FA account I'm just backing myself up so that should anything happen again to FA, I will be less likely to lose anything terribly important. Such as commissioner's works.
That being said, I do have to admit I like FN's current structure with how its set out and that there being a category to see who's open for commissions.
You can find me there under @ endlesshunter or Aurana Fireheart.
Idea for a Challenge
Posted 9 years agoI'm not sure if it has been done before or not but I was thinking, whether you're into digital art, traditional, music, storywriting, animating, game making, map-building, programming, whatever, there's always those that are 'up there' in the world. Those really amazing talented people who make these incredible masterpieces, and you can't help but go 'wow I really wish I was as good as them'. But the thing is, they didn't just magically wake up one day to be these amazing people. They all started off somewhere.
And that's what leads me to the idea for this challenge...
The 'Just for Starters' Challenge
To post, link, retweet, facebook or otherwise share your first piece of artwork.
Not the first finished, polished, masterpiece.
But the first piece you have posted up, be it on deviantart, soundcloud, facebook, wherever.
The point of the challenge is not to brag, or show off, but to encourage budding young artists.
To show them it's not impossible to get 'that good' one day!
Now this is mostly aimed at those 'up there' people and I'm hoping it is they who will be first to reshare this, to show to the little guys, those newcomers like I am to the animation sector, that they didn't just wake up to be amazing at what they do. They worked at it day by day, month by month, year by year, decade by decade. I myself don't always like to look at my oldest pieces because looking back, I think they look terrible. But you know what? I wouldn't be where I am today without them. And so I leave them posted up as a reminder to myself how far I've improved from those early pieces. They might not be pretty, but they were the stepping stones.
Now assuming this takes off, which it might not, I don't care if people wish to credit me or not as I'm not doing this for attention. But if you want to link back or credit me, go for it. But I would like to see your first works too!
Edit: It is not a requirement, but if you wanted to make it easier for people to find those doing the challenge, could you add in 'Just for Starters Challenge' in the title if you're submitting it to FA/devart/weasyl/wherever and/or add in the description: #JustForStartersChallenge #Inspire
you could also use those hashtags if you'd rather spread it around on twitter too! Thanks goes to TagAnimations for the hashtags too xD

Commissions Open and a Note
Posted 9 years agoOkay so now that my queue is clear, I'm opening up for more commissions. As yet I don't believe a price increase is needed so prices will stay the same for the time being. Things are getting a little tighter than I'd like them to be so my focus this time will be mainly on commissions I can get done fairly fast. Which means I will be more inclined to do linearts and flat colours and POSSIBLY try my hand at cellshading over ref sheets and the full package option.
On a side note, I will be this time focusing far less on vore-centric commissions because I'd like to be able to have more pieces I can put in a professional portfolio.
I may later on in the year open up for render requests but as yet I'm still getting the hang of the program and working out light settings on my own time.
That being said, I hope you all are having a wonderful day/night! <3
Spacedragon out.

Any 3D Animators or Modellers out there??
Posted 9 years agouh so yeah... anyone know some good animators? I mean I guess they'd be furry ones most likely if they're on here but yeah.
Been feeling like I need to find more animators or 3D modellers I can get advice from hopefully
Particularly those that may use Cinema 4D.
Lately I've been feeling a bit alone I guess because I've been doing renders but hardly anyone seems to care much and even less know much about 3D (and largely minecraft renders) so they're like 'yeah it's nice but I don't know anything about 3D stuff so sorry I can't offer advice'
Seems like I can do normal 2D digital art and there's plenty that can offer tips and advice but nothing in the area of 3D work.
I dunno, should I post my renders here?
Don't get me wrong, I love my friends here and the support you guys give me. <3
Just would be nice to not feel like in order to continue pursuing my dreams, that means I have to struggle alone... >____<
Anyway, vent over. Go back to your business xD
Just a Note about Commissioner Etiquette
Posted 9 years agoOkay I know I don't normally do this, but reading this journal it's worth reposting. NOTE: this does not apply to anyone who's commissioned me so far, so do not stress. I just thought it was worth sharing because it's a good general rule of thumb with artists. Yes, I know I still have art to do for people as well and I do apologise in advance for not having gotten them done. *bows*
I also should point out I've no problem being friendly with people, whether they commission me or not. And as a general rule of thumb with me: The more detail you provide me with, the better chance I can take what's in your head and put it down on paper (figuratively speaking).

Commissioner/Artist Respect
By Tojo-The-Thief, Jan 28th, 2016 05:12 AM
As many of my twitter followers know, I do not have a great opinion of the furry fandom and I wanted to explain why this is the case. At this point in my life, I no longer take very many commissions so I am no longer afraid to state my opinions and lose followers. If you don’t like my opinions, I am not sorry. Consider this a lesson in respect 101 for commissioning. Keep in mind, this goes both ways and is not directed only at commissioners.
I spent many years doing full time furry art to make a living as I made my way through college and the time I spent looking for my first “real” job. During this time I encountered a lot of great people, but I also met some of the most rude and uncouth individuals. Understand that art is not an easy job and it takes a lot of time and skill to create these works for everyone to enjoy. Many artists live at or below the poverty line and struggle everyday just to make enough for bills. There are commissioners who take advantage of artists and there are artists who take advantage of their clients and this will likely always happen. The important thing to remember that that we are all people who deserve respect and understanding no matter the situation.
I want to address some of the issues that I personally dealt with and the things that irked me the most:
You are too expensive. – This was offensive to me when I first started drawing and then later faded to a dull annoyance. I understand if you are put off by some artists because they are too expensive for you to afford, but that does not mean they are charging too much. If an artist charges too much, they will not get commissions and the situation will sort itself out. If an artist charges too little, they will get more commissions than they can actually complete. There is a specific balance that must be achieved, anyone who has taken basic economics will understand this balance. So, what should you do if you see an artist that charges too much? Don’t do anything, don’t say anything. Don’t be a rude asshole.
Let’s be professional. – In this situation, if money is being exchanged for a service, this is a business agreement. Try and be professional and understanding to each other. Try and respond to emails within 24 hours if possible. If time goes by and nothing is heard, try sending another. I have encountered many issues with gmail eating emails, marking them as read and putting them in spam. In this situation, if communication is becoming a problem it might be best to try another means of contact. This message should be worded with the assumption that it’s an honest mistake and not “WHY ARE YOU IGNORING ME?!”. Artists, don’t be rude. Don’t put rude things on your webpage that insults others. Remember: if you are running a business, how do you want people to see it?
I want a commission. – The relationship between artists and commissioners is a great thing, I have developed many friendships over a commission. However, being asked constantly when I am opening for commissions get really old and takes a lot of time to answer these messages. Artists: have a clear spot on your webpage that states your commission status and when you might open, even if it’s an estimate. Commissioners: take a second to try and find this information before jumping on to private messages!
I bought a commission and I haven’t gotten it. – This is a super frequent issue on both sides and is hard to address. The solution to this? Communication. And not on a shout page or twitter. Email or private message. Yelling at an artist publicly because you think they are taking too long is a first class ticket to being blacklisted, at least in my book. Same goes for artists, are you taking longer than originally planned? Think about talking to the commissioner, see if you can reach a new deadline together. Creating art is not magic, it takes time and effort. Artists as human beings encounter all sorts of problems when doing art from software and hardware problems to artist block and personal problems. Of all the things not to do, PLEASE don’t send a message asking every day.
Life example time: Last year I had a commissioner stalk my twitter and comment whenever I tweeted about going out. I went on a hike one weekend and I got a message on twitter asking why I was out doing this when I have outstanding commissions. This commissioner was immediately refunded and is now blacklisted. DON’T do this.
Let’s be friends. – Although it’s a nice idea, artists cannot be friends with every person that commissions them. Most of us don’t have time to have friendly discussions on Skype with you just because you decided to commission us. Money /= friendship and being professional /= best friends.
The artist won’t draw my idea. – Let me put it bluntly, some of you people are weird. And so am I. However, everyone has their own ideas of what is okay and not everyone wants to draw fetish things. Be sure to ask and don’t assume. Also, don’t be rude about someone’s fetish and don’t be rude if someone doesn’t want to draw yours.
Terms of Service (TOS). – Artists, create a page with your terms of service, it will save your ass. Make sure it states basic information like the right to refuse service to anyone and how you handle refunds and deadlines. Commissioners, make sure if an artist has TOS that you read and understand them before commissioning them. If a dispute happens, your TOS can make or break a legal decision.
Don’t be a fucking asshole. – This seems to be very hard for people, especially with the anonymity on the internet. Think about what you are saying, would it be welcome in a professional work environment? If you are going to insult an artist’s work, it should be a useful critique and not “that leg is fucked up”. And if you do want to critique, think about doing it via a private message, especially if it’s a commission. I have encountered comments like this that directly insult the commissioners anatomy even though the art itself was correct according to the commissioner’s reference.

Life Update
Posted 10 years agoFirst of all, I am sorry to all my watchers and friends that I have not been active on here for quite some time. I am not dead, I've just been very preoccupied in the last few months with life in general but also a shift in interests. I still plan to finish up my owed commissions and other artworks but for the time being you may not see as much digital art from me other than that, as I've been fortunate enough to be able to start working on my dream of doing 3D computer animations. Even if/when I do return to doing commissions, things will probably be a bit different there as well.
So what else has changed? Firstly, I've been leaning more and more away from vore largely because it's lost its appeal for the most part (same goes for rps in general) and dually because I don't feel it's helping me achieve my goals in life and I don't want to forever be known for doing just 'fetish' stuff.
Life otherwise has been going well enough with my interest in Minecraft being rekindled in recent months, and subsequent interest in doing animations related to that among other non-Minecraft projects. I hope you all can forgive me for my absence and for the new direction I am taking, even though some may or may not entirely agree or understand it. I am considering posting up some images of still images from some of my projects just so people can see what I do now. I also have a youtube channel specifically where I will put up my finished animations which you can find at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4.....C-P2O0NSPpOvtw (Firehearted Animations)
Just to clarify something: I am not leaving the fandom altogether since I have many happy memories and have made many awesome friends from it, I just will not be likely to draw much vore as I used to. This does not mean I won't like any and all vore I see but I won't be doing all that much of it myself. Hope that helps clear up any questions people might have! ^^;

Commission Terms and Conditions - MUST READ
Posted 10 years agoWhile I am happy to negotiate on most things, below is a list of my general guidelines so if you plan to commission me at any time in the future please do read this first. I will likely add more as I go along.
1. All payments are Paypal only. The address to send them to is bluepossum17@gmail.com.
2. I expect payment upfront before I start doing lineart.
3. I will allow one or two sketches per image before moving onto the main commission piece but you must have a solid idea of what you want me to draw first. Sketches are a way for me to hash things out and see if I'm interpreting your description correctly. They are not designed to be an endless supply of free art for you.
4. I have a right to refuse any commission I choose, however I will whenever possible give you a reason why.
5. If a commission is a gift for another person, I expect you to have cleared it with them first or at the very least know they won't find the subject matter questionable. I will not be responsible if you and the other party had a falling out and decide to cancel the commission. If this is the case, I will not as a general rule give out refunds as it's my time and labour that have been spent.
6. I realize not everyone is good at art or writing a detailed description, which is why I prefer to livestream my work so you the commissioner can correct any mistakes as we go along. However, the more details and information I have, the more accurate my work will be for you.
7. While not required, I would love it if after I post your commission you could visit this page: http://sfw.furaffinity.net/journal/5805761/ and fill out a short feedback segment that would be very much appreciated. Be honest too. Helpful criticism helps me know what I did wrong and how I can improve on it :) (ie, I've had someone tell me before that a piece I did was 'stupid' but when asked why they thought that, they couldn't give an answer but just stated they were being helpful. Criticism is not just telling an artist what they did wrong, but instead telling them 'this is good but maybe you could do it this way to make it better next time' Just putting that out there.. )
New Business/Commission Skype Account + Commission Page
Posted 10 years ago
Its sole purpose is to be seperate from my personal account where I can discuss information with customers regarding ongoing commissions (including progress updates and for letting them know when I may be able to livestream their commission).
Also I have at last filled out my Commission Info page which has examples of my work, prices, and how many of each I will take at a time which can be found here: http://sfw.furaffinity.net/commissi.....endlesshunter/

I'm not normally the type to repost journals and do such things, but this is a very valid exception...
servo117 is a person who buys adoptables that he sees in his mind as worthless and kills them off for amusement. Believing himself to be Julius Caesar, he flushes any sense of morality down the toilet for the few people that cheer for him to continue desecrating other people's creations and his own sick sense of satisfaction.
A majority of the adoptable artists on Furaffinity have him blocked for this reason. Most of the people that he purchases from have no idea of what he has planned for their creation and he tells them nothing more than "I plan to have fun with them." The artists that do sell to him feel remorse at selling to him.
Help spread the word, stop this fur from being able to purchase anymore adoptables. Repost this journal and help increase awareness.
I get that he buys them and can do what he wants but seriously... why the fack would one buy an adoptable just to kill them off and never use them again? WTF?! Not to mention its just spitting in the face of the people who spend time designing the creatures only to have this nutjob get his rocks off by killing them.

All I ask is you be respectful to others and don't cause dramas. Other than that, enjoy! Oh and if you want to invite people along, feel free! ^^ Also feel free to engage in roleplays if you want, all I ask is that you keep it G-PG rated please.

So yeah I do have my computer back now and I'll be doing my best to make up for lost time. Again, my apologies to my commissioners for the wait ^^;
No computer
Posted 11 years agoSorry but for the next 2-3 days I won't be able to use my own computer because it died suddenly so likely won't be around much to stream or such. I'll have windows 7 though when I do get it back so yay for that.
