How To Be An Energy Cat (Feline FAQs)
Posted 15 years ago - What type of cat should I be?
There are a lot of types out there big and small. Even those the I might not have seen before. So take your pick. If I haven't heard of the breed before then post a picture link to me or to the energy cat that you've chosen.
- What about hybrids?
As long as it's a feline through and through than that alright. There are Ligers and Tigons out there. But you can be a Saber-tooth tuxedo cat or a long-hired panther. If you are feline, you're good.
- What about hybrids outside the feline species?
That is debatable. I'm a bit wavy but leaning on "No." Although it'll be cool to see and red Lion with horns or a cute winged-calico to represent Red Bull or a Scaly Sphynx(furless) Cat representing Venom, but it all depends if it's cool enough for the go ahead. On the hand, if I allow that then there would be a lot of mixed hybrids that wouldn't belong. Example: Hedgecat.
- Speaking of which, Mobians?
Haven't really though of that. And ass cool as that sounds, I really doubt that getting a proper mobain fursuit is possible. But I can still accept concepts art.
- Do I really need a fursuit to be an energy cat?
Not really. In these times it's really not a must. It'll really be cool to actually get EC suiters out there. If you have the money and dedicate on actually getting one then go for it. Just think wisely on the decision first.
- But I was planning on getting my suit of the same brand and flavor!
Go for it then. =^_^= If a panther and black cat are considered feline then this is no matter is no different. The only thing I wont tolerate is if someone makes or commission's a fursuit of someone else's concept and call it their own without the originator's consent.
- What about concept art?
Those I can fave. Unless you allow me the permission to post the artwork on the group, I will only fave it. If I do post the artwork I will give the proper information on who drew it as well at the fur that created it. Please note, make it original and not a copy of the same posture if you can unless you have multiples from the same artist. The least C&P art the better.
That's all the questions that I can think about for now. Any more questions about the feline section please leave a comment and I'll answer it or add the question to the journal and answer it there.

How To Be An Energy Cat (Energy FAQs)
Posted 15 years ago - What energy drink should choose?
There are many different energy drinks out there in the world to choose from. If need be, look it up through Google to find what's out there.
- Wait! Aren't energy drinks the same as soda?
Although they are carbonated and fizzy, energy drinks are suppose ti give you an extra boost of caffeine/energy/electrolytes/whatever =>.<;= to keep going or stay up longer in one can.
- Does 5 Hour Energy or Power Shots count?
Those are extreme energy boosters, so I can see how that's debatable. I'm leaning towards yes for those for now, but there's a slight conflict. "5 Hour Energy, Redline, etc." have same colors but different flavors. My suggestion is to make it a wild type feline and to also have a mark of the flavor somewhere on the cat.
- What about energy water or juice?
I have seen those on the shelves of the stores. But I would have to say no to those. It's possible that there are energy juices that does have a punch to it. So that's vaguely possible when I look at it and give it a shot. If I accepted energy water drinks, then you might as well add Gatorade, and that has a vast variety of flavor on it's own. Thus, making the group way too complicated.
- What if that Energy Drink is taken?
No need to worry. Chances are that the energy drink has a different flavor. But if someone has the flavor you can still make yours the same. Take Monster Original for example. If someone has a black and green tabby but you want yours as a tiger then that's fine. Anything can be duplicated as long as you're a feline in the end.

Behind the Energy Cats
Posted 15 years agoSup everyone. Now before all the controversy gets out of hand, let me tell you the reason for this group.
This was originally a silent project that I was thinking about ever since the
sodapups came to be on LiveJournal two years ago. There were a few furs that actually liked the idea and the Soda Pups were indeed expanding one fursuit at a time. But since two of the
sodaroos came out at FWA this year, their presence exploded with in a weeks time nearly matching if not overlapping the Soda Pups.
Now the reason behind the Soda Pups is to follow along the Candy Skunks. The reason why I didn't follow through sooner because for one I didn't think that it'll be a success to start with. Along with that, trying to get a fursuit of an energy cat might be difficult in the long run. Especially the way today's world is now.
The one thing that I've noticed though is that furs go crazy and pounce on a group that focuses on a single species. Candy Skunks and Soda Roos. No variety of the species when there are so many candies and sodas. So before someone comes up with the Energy Deers, or Energy Badgers etc. (no offense) I'll create my group now before that happens.
I hope this will be a good turnout.
