Apologies for the lengthy silence, ladies and gents! This group has been kind of quiet for a while. I'm planning to change that, and soon, but I thought for a moment I'd do a little TMI Tuesday here with you ENFers, share a little bit about what appeals about it to me, and see if you guys had any questions or wanted to talk about what appeals about it to you.

For me, it is a genuine fetish with roots going all the way back to when I was a young 'un getting the occasional funny feeling from cartoons. Nudity itself always fascinated me, since I was raised in a prudish household where it was forbidden. And since it was a societal taboo as well, public nudity also had a considerable appeal. But for some reason the icing on the cake was when a character was embarrassed about it, all blushing and shy and red and trying to hide their bodies...an effort which, in any comedy setting, is always doomed to failure.

There's a whole subgenre of erotic fiction on the internet based around the concept. Outside of this little group, ENF usually stands for "Embarrassed Naked Female" (with ENM being the male equivalent). You can find whole archives of niche little sexy stories about it if you know where to look, and there are subgenres even WITHIN that subgenre. Some people prefer the wardrobe malfunction type stories, some lost bets, some prefer magical or science fiction elements. It doesn't matter to me, though; in this fetish I'm more about the destination than the journey. Sometimes there are stories where characters are sneaking around, trying to get to safety, trying to avoid being spotted. Personally, my preferences are much less subtle. I'm more the kind of guy who's like "oh you're going to have to stay naked for at least a week and all of your friends and your parents are going to see you and you're going to be on live TV and oh you're also going to meet the president and oh by the way you have to masturbate in front of all of them too." You know, the simple stuff.

This group is meant to encompass ALL flavors of this silly little fun fetish, from comedic to sexy, from teasing to explicit, from short-term nudity to long-term exposure.

But now that I've given my take on it, what are your thoughts? How and why do YOU enjoy this theme, and why did you watch this group? And do you have any questions for me or each other?

So. I guess I should talk about this at least a little bit here.

First of all, any of you who follow my personal account will know that I'm not happy with the situation on FA, and that my main identity has already distanced itself from this site considerably. That having been said, ENF is not going to be going anywhere at the present, although I FULLY intend to make a Weasyl version of it as soon as the Groups feature on Weasyl is up and running.

I haven't forgotten about nor abandoned you guys. I even have a concept for one of the group mascots in the works thanks to the generous donation of a friend. I just haven't really been sure of what to do with the group in the aftermath of all the controversy.

I guess we'll find out together, eh?

Guess it's time I stop being lazy with this group huh!

I have a HUGE backlog of stuff to post, guys, so I'll try to work my way through it over the next week or so.

Hey guys! Seems another group on FA took notice of us and sent out a call to get more votes for a specific species in our ongoing poll. I logged in to find 40 additional votes overnight. I'm loving that so many new people are participating!

That having been said, though, I can't help but notice that the majority of the new voters have not actually joined us. Now I didn't think I would need to do this, as I didn't think that news of this poll would spread so far, but I'm going to have to add a rule to the voting process. Since I want these results to be decided BY our members FOR our members, I hereby decree:

All voters MUST be watching us in order for their vote to count.

I hope this doesn't seem unfair, guys! But like I said, since this mascot poll is determining the public face of ENF, I want it to be decided by the *members* of ENF. I know we all have our favorite species, but let's remember that this is supposed to represent the interests of the group and not outside parties, okay?

But hey, the good news is that all you have to do to properly register is just to click that little +watch link up in the top right! You know you wanna. Click iiiiiiiiiit.

It occurred to me recently that maybe it was a mistake to call this group ENF instead of something more descriptive. Our username doesn't exactly inspire people to want to click through, does it?

So everybody must have noticed by now that we're crazy about favoriting things here at ENF Enterprises. But what about our gallery? Can't have it going neglected, now can we?

That's where you guys come in! I have a few pieces of unique and original art that aren't anywhere else on FA that I have queue'd up to post, but if you have a piece you'd like to suggest to us, please, feel free to do so!

Provided, of course, that it meets the following guidelines:

1. The piece in question must comply with The Rules of the Group.

2. The piece cannot have been already present in our gallery.

3. If you are not the original creator of the piece, you must also have obtained the original creator's permission.

4. If you ARE the original creator, but the characters in the piece are not yours, then their owners' permission must also be acquired.

5. Though this is actually covered in the first rule, I feel it's important enough to bear stressing. ALL submissions MUST be relevant to the group theme of Embarrassed Naked Furries! I am going to be a little bit stricter about what constitutes an acceptable group Gallery submission than I am with the group Favorites. After all, these will be the public face of the group! The blushing, beet red public face!

As with the Official Rules these will be updated and revised as needed.
