I'm still relatively alive, yeah. College and work had me sucked in and this month has been awful that it left me with a lot of crap to deal with, which is why I've been slow on commissions and owed art.
I'm done with college classes though, so that means I'll have more free time to get all the owed art finished and done. I apologize for the wait and the inconvenience that has been caused by that.
What I've had to deal with has been stressful. There have been constant issues with my parents, who have thrown a fit over me becoming much more social and trying to gain full independency; Basically, me improving myself apparently makes them angry. This has led to numerous occasions of them trying to make me feel miserable - Either by getting other people to make me feel miserable and it has went as far to getting a friend of theirs to stalk me - Which I've put a stop to, thankfully.
Combined with that, they've also put me in a financial pickle. My bank account in Israel was shut down due to inactivity and my parents have failed to notify me of such until it was too late to reclaim whatever funds I had in there. I wasn't notified that my disability aid has been cut off for years after I turned 18, and my parents made me believe that my appeal for it went through all this years - I found out this wasn't the case earlier this month, so whatever money I thought I was getting, I have not been getting at all.
I've been working to fix this mess and I have opened a new bank account in Jordan, which is currently where I reside. Despite that I have a job and get paid every month, it's not enough to make up for what I lost, which was a pretty hefty amount. I thought of taking on more commissions or opening up auctions, but... I faced another problem with that.
See, I opened a new PayPal account to be able to use my bank account in Jordan and I had it verified and everything using my MasterCard. But the moment someone tries to send me money, I find out that I am unable to receive funds because PayPal is a dumbfuck and labels Jordanian PayPal accounts as send-only and to be able to do such, it requires I either use a Jordanian visa credit card, or a US bank account - Of which I have neither. ... Which means I cannot use PayPal right this moment.
I had thought of giving AlertPay a shot since it hasn't given me the same shitty problems as PayPal did, but as it stands and from what I gather - I may be wrong on this one, but it seems that the majority of people use PayPal and do not have an AlertPay. ... Which leaves me unsure if I am going to be able to sort this mess out at all, as I'm honestly unsure of what to do at all. Any suggestions at this level would be nice, because I want to do all I can do to sort this out. @_@

Posted 14 years agoI think I totally love that job. Comfortably awesome environment, fun tasks and I didn't feel awkward with the other co-workers around and all!
Best moment was when I came in and my supervisor greets me with 'OH HELLO I RECOGNIZE YOUR WORK FROM THE INTERNET, IT'S GREAT'

[First Day of Work and Other Things]

More importantly, though, what does this mean in the future?
There will be a slow down in commissions but I'll work on them during whatever spare time I get between work and college. After the current commissions are done, I may or may not take on more commissions - It's something I will have to ponder wisely.
I will be online less, there is no doubt about that one. I'm definitely going to be very very busy, as my shift is from 9 am to 3 pm and after that college until 9 pm. WHAT LIFE.
Figured I'd give everyone an early heads up, just in case. :)

Posted 14 years agoFinally back into the dorms after putting up with two months of constant stupidity and annoyance at my parents'. I missed having my privacy.
Classes start again Sunday.
I am so tired and I still have to unpack a lot of luggage. TONIGHT'S GONNA BE SUPER BUSY.
In the future, though, this means I will be able to be more productive, do more art and perhaps SOME FRICKIN' AWESOME STREAM TIME.
... Only downside is that I won't be able to game much due to a little finicky thing called capped internet. :C
OH WELL. More art beats everything. :3c
