Posted a year agoHello Again, Everyone.
It's that time of year again. 4 years since my last journal update. Unfortunately, I don't have as much to report this time. Late last year, I got arranged at a full time job, and while that's given me a lot more room to commission lots of great artists, It has left me strapped for time to write about them.
I have no intent of giving up on it though, and I do try to find the time to expand on things through writing.
I have been having a lot of fun trying to put more narrative to my writing, though I'm a long way from writing books or anything like that. I still really enjoy the short story format.
All things said though, I thought this might be a good opportunity. I've been branching out in more subjects to write about, but if anyone has any thoughts on what they'd like to see, be it in form of content or theme, I'm always game to hear about it here or in comments.
Until then, I'll still crank away on what I have in drafts. Stay tuned, and thanks for your time reading what I've put out.

3 Years...and 1 day
Posted 2 years agoHey everyone. I was tied up with some travelling, and couldn't make a proper upload yesterday, but I just wanted to give a quick hoorah for now 3 years of uploading here on FA. Becoming quite a endeavor now. I was sorta all over the place this year, with a lot of my writing getting wrapped up in the college cats stories, among a few other things. I had a few other projects I had written, but never got to uploading due to various scheduling conflicts and just never finding the right time, but officially this year, I uploaded:
13 entries, 4 of which were centered on the college cats, 4 around various Pokemon characters, and a few more miscellaneous things. I know it's been lacking in pony content around here, and I'll try to fix that here in coming months.
Altogether it made a total of 225 pages, which isn't bad, but also not great. There were a few stories I still need to properly finish to upload, but my actual flow of material has been a bit slow the last couple months between work and matters around the house.
Anyway, 3 years down, and I'm still around. Hope I still keep you all entertained with my various bits of story, and I hope to deliver even more next year. Have a good one!

2nd Anniversary of this account
Posted 3 years agoHello everyone! The time has finally come. As of today, I've been posting my writings for 2 years. There has been a lot of progress and I wanted to both thank everyone's who given a shot at reading my stuff as well as summarizing what the plans are.
So, since May 24th, 2021, I have uploaded a total of 20 times, bringing in a total of 251 pages of stuff. Now, I admit that's only about half of my first year, but quite a few things happened last year, and that is still over 50,000 words of content. Basically a book.
Now, there were a lot of things I would've hoped to get done by now, but I'm still pretty happy about what all I was able to output. I tried a lot of things, as well as experimented with a lot more character themes and stuff.
I do plan to still write some MLP related stuff. There are a lot of ideas that I think could still make for fun stories.
I'm really hoping to emphasize on some the Pokémon material I've covered, and build up a little bit of a series out of that.
As seen with the recent burst of Animal crossing stories though, I'm also not going to try and keep things limited to one or two franchises. I want to write what is fun, that could expand to a lot of different things.
I don't want to put out another resolution set of stories like I did last year, but I do want to be a bit more active on journals this year, so I can start getting more public feedback on what stories people may want to see more.
I've generally come to the conclusion that I won't be doing commissions much at all. They're difficult to gauge and tend to come with a lot of unwanted pressure, though that doesn't mean I'm not open to doing stuff. If you have any ideas for a story scenario, particularly regarding some of the franchises listed above, or if you have a pic that you think might springboard into something interesting narratively, feel free to shoot me a note.
Once again, thanks to everyone who took the time to read my work, and I hope I can keep on producing fun material.

1 Year Anniversary Announcement
Posted 4 years agoHello Everyone. As the title suggests, it has been now 1 full year since I uploaded on this account for the first, so I wanted to make a few points in light of the next one.
First, it has been a really fun and productive year to be certain. Counting the 2 submissions I uploaded earlier today, I have published a total of 588 pages of work, amassing to somewhere around 100,000 words.
~427 of those were centered on MLP stuff
~93 were from various Miko centered stories ;)
I was rather stunned at the result of adding it all up, but I think it makes for a great target to go for in the next year, so starting now, I suppose I am on a race to make 589 pages of even better stuff.
I hope you have all enjoyed my stuff so far. I think I probably improved quite a lot in that time, and I hope my stuff continues to impress. Starting with that, I'd like to give a small list of things of I definitely want to work on here in the coming weeks and months. This isn't everything I have in the works by any means, but I just wanted to drop these ideas down somewhere official.
--MLP related project--
*The 3rd and final in the series of Lyra's vacation and scratch for a melody. For those who read the latter, you might have guessed the story isn't over yet, and there is still one more piece to it (As well as a really nice commissioned artwork I got to accompany it). I had planned to work on it more, but I got sidetracked by some other projects that preoccupied me. It will be of comparable length, and feature many of the same themes as the others, but hopefully more refined. I'm super excited for this one.
*A dedicated series to the student 6. Since I actually started writing, I have really wanted to do something related to the newest bunch of MLP characters, but It has been a funny situation where I have been so overwhelmed by different ideas and directions to go for, that I haven't really nailed one down. One thing I want to do this year is start a series similar to what I did with background characters.
*The last thing I want to sort of set in stone is that I want to put together a situation around the fashion pony characters, specifically Rarity, Coco, and sassy saddles. I really like all the characters, and there is a lot of untapped synergy with them. I have been sort of muddled around which direction to go with it, but I do plan to put together something significant.
--Other-- (Yeah, I do have other stuff funny enough)
*As you might have seen in recent, I have finally started to branch out a bit with a couple of stories around a web of Pokémon OC's. That has been quite a different direction for me, but definitely a fun one as well. There are a few more short story ideas I have around, but here soon I plan to develop a more full sized concept, with a bit more establishment to the characters. I don't plan to fully transition to this sort of stuff, but I definitely want to work more on it.
--Commissions--
This is something I have been pretty on the fence about. Generally, I wasn't terribly avid about these, and wanted to keep them at an arm's length, but I don't feel like going by simple requests will leave anyone happy, so I wanted to make some means to offer my help with putting together concepts.
Anyway, I'll try to very very tentatively offer small commissioned stories (<13 pages or around 2500 words)
If you're interested, just send me a note. One thing I do want to stress is have some scenario you'd like to see, and not necessarily just a character and nothing else. Not a whole awful lot I can do with "Hey, do X"
As far as themes go, as long as it is nothing extreme like gore, scat, etc, and nothing odor based. I wouldn't say it's limited to MLP either. Let's just go with, "If I have written about it before, I'll probably write about it again"
Part of the reason for this in the first place is broaden my horizons beyond where they are now, so just note what you have, and we'll see what it is. Pricing is a difficult thing for me to wager, but we can discuss that one as well on a case-by-case until I have a more thorough idea.
Anyway, that about sums up the stuff I had. Hope you have all enjoyed what I have made thus far, and I hope I'll be able to keep delivering on such things.
