my opinion on posting my stuff to other sites
Posted 2 years agoOkay, so I was browsing the hollow knight tag on rule34.paheal.net, when I noticed something odd. Someone has uploaded my hornet image to rule34. ( here: http://rule34.paheal.net/post/view/.....=Hollow_Knight )
Thankfully, the image has been tagged with my username, so I don't have to worry about not being credited for my image.
Honestly, I was kind of amazed that anyone had liked that drawing enough to go to the trouble of uploading it to a site like that.
However, because of this event, I have decided to make a post explaining how I feel about having my work posted elsewhere, and whether or not I think it's okay.
Basically, I'm fine with my work being posted to another site, as long as proper credit is given. i.e, tag the image with my username, have a link back to the original source, etc.
So, if you ever feel like you want to upload my work to another site, that is perfectly okay, so long as I am properly credited, and the post has a link back to my page, where you got the image from.
Additionally, I only post on this site (at the time of writing) , so if you see my work on another site, I am not the one who posted it.
