Delay on designs for sale.
Posted 8 years agoIt's turned out to be a lot more difficult to track down ancient designs I own - I know who did them but often the accounts have changed, the submission has been deleted, the artist is inactive, or I can't access my paypal that far back to see how much I paid. There are also some that can't be sold, only traded so I'm having to compile a list. Because of that, I'm delaying putting up an official 'for sale/trade' post anywhere.
If you're really interested in something and you think it might be going up for sale/trade, feel free to either comment here or PM me about it. Do not ask about dreamies, ki'an species, plunnies, or personal characters/sonas. Do note that gift designs are staying with me and a great deal with 'over my dead body' are also staying. They're almost all active in plots and sites so they're not ones I'm willing to part with. It's mostly designs I'm not using in current plots or who are currently in limbo from those tags who'll be going up. All the designs on my trade account will be marked with prices if they can be sold. Some of the NPC ones will also be put up, though I'm still sorting through that account. Anything available will be made visible and linked once I'm ready.
Not everything will be first come, first served. I'll mark which ones aren't, and if I've had a lot of interest for specific designs I'll probably do a raffle sale to be fair.
This will all be done on toyhouse, but if you don't have an account you can message me about things here.

Posted 9 years agoOkay. I'm sorry if this comes across as angry or aggressive, but I'm so sick of being harassed over characters that people want. I've said this a thousand times and I'm done playing broken record. Please stop asking for characters that aren't marked as available for trade. I've even made it very easy for you over on TH, where I store everyone. I have a tagging system that's very easy. If they're listed in 'over my dead body' they're never leaving my hands. If they're tagged nft/nfs they're not available unless you have a draft plunny that appeals to me. That's the only exception for the latter tag.
This isn't a one time thing. I get notes about this fairly often and finally had a bit of rudeness be the straw that broke the camel's back. I am sick of the rudeness and the 'it can't hurt to ask' attitude. It does hurt because it feels extremely rude and aggressive - like those who note me think they're the exception to the rule. I have made it very easy to see what I am willing to part with and what I'm not. It's sheer laziness or disrespect or both if that simple tagging system is not checked. It really is.
From here on out, when I get notes I'm not going to be nice. I'm probably going to be very short, and then block immediately when I get asked in the future. I'm sorry if this seems rude or whatever but I'm so sick and tired of being harassed over my characters. It's stressful and aggravating. I'm not kidding.

HMS Revenant - This is a science fiction space themed panfandom. It's got inspiration from a number of things, but draws most heavily off of Star Trek, with some slightly whimsical things reminiscent of Wall-E's ship [without the murderous AI]. It's only in soft opening currently and tons of roles and characters are available. Originals are, as always, welcome. :D

Posted 9 years agoFor future reference - all characters that you see me purchase and list on toyhouse are in use or are planned out for upcoming stories or sites. They're not for sale or trade unless in the specific folder that says sale/trade on Toyhou.se. My name is the same there as here [entropicteacups]. You can also view any that are for sure available for trade/sale over here. I am only looking for art for trades unless you have a monster or an older male character. If they're for sale they'll have a price listed. If there's no price, they're trade only. I never ask for more than what I originally paid unless there's extra art I've paid for and both the adopt artist & the other artists are okay with that amount being added.
No one but myself knows much each character is being used and I really don't appreciate being guilt tripped. Telling me that you'd treat the character better, insisting that I'm not using them, or telling me that writing doesn't count and similar things just annoy me and will have exactly the opposite effect hoped for - I'll probably make that character private and will never sell anything to anyone who says such things to me regardless of whether I've things for sale or trade. It will also earn a block.
I really don't appreciate people asking to buy or trade my characters if they're not in that folder, so please be respectful and don't ask. Thank you.

Posted 9 years agoI keep a record of everyone who owes me commissions in this journal. I list dates [exact if I have them], amount I paid, and what each piece ordered was, as well as who owes it and if there was a delivery date agreed upon [I never order things that go past 5 to 5 1/2 months out now]. This is for my own reference, and any notes listed are for my personal use only. If you've got questions or concerns [or an issue being listed here] please note me.
I no longer commission those who cannot finish projects within 166 days as this gives me a bit of leeway inside paypal's 180 day limit for filing disputes. There are exceptions to this rule and they know who they are. Most artists I will not commission if this timeline cannot be met, or I'll ask to hold off payment until my slot is due to be started [IE, I will not pay for a slot in a queue if the wait time is more than 166 days]. I do this to protect myself - I can't dispute a charge past that 180 days so holding off on payment until my slot is started ensures that the piece will be done within that 166 days. I make every effort to contact and work with an artist if it looks like that time frame is not going to be met, but I will dispute charges if I feel I'm being led on so that the dispute period lapses. All that said, I always check with artists to be sure they are okay with a slot being reserved but payment held until my piece is started. Anyone not okay with this is thanked for their time and I'll free the slot for someone else.

These are from crestvyne, purchased on dA. Current status - on hiatus til end of 2015. No response to my own notes since late '13. Note & shout [on adopt + main account] sent on 3-26-15. Left another shout January 2016. No response as of 3-12-16. A_B post being finalized.
8-17-13 + 10-31-13 - $12 commission of Erik - full color + background. $12 egg adopt from here. From rabbitastic on dA. Current status - unknown. Last heard from him April '15. Major RL troubles. Going to post a 'lost contact' post on A_B.
4-13-14 + 4-16-14 + 4-17-14 + 4-21-14 + 5-21-14 + 3-4-15 - $207 AB [including PP fee] for this common kitkin. This included a free breeding adopt as part of the AB prize [per Blood's mention in email correspondence], a chibi, and an icon. $135 AB [including PP fee] of this fellow included AB extras of an icon, headshot, and dirty bits according to my specifications. $17 [including PP fee] for a headshot of Fell. $104 AB [including PP fee] for #1 here - need full sized file of him as I never got it. $230 AB of2 1 custom slot(s) [+ upgrade fees - $10 for one hallow, $5 for one hollow + PP fee] from this auction [1 custom done, 1 remaining]. $25 AB of #5 included a full body sketch. All from thelxlbloodlxlprince. Current status - had full list as of late April '16. Chatting through emails & occasionally checking on artist & status of comms. Sent email on August 11, 2016 as requested with updated info. 1 custom + 1 breeding done as of 9/2
Mid April [or May???] 2014 & sometime july/august 2016 - $7geniee custom Custom Hannibal inspired wendigo and freebie hybrid design w/sketch from Almond. Current status - touched base and swapped to wendigo custom on 8-28-15. Sent info for custom freebie same day i won it. happy to wait as long as needed. =)
