I'm not feeling very energetic...
Posted 10 years ago I know that I always say that I'm going to start posting more content, but I find it hard to stay motivated to finishing or making something. I'll feel motivated at the time, but then I'll stop and just stare at the page, or I'll start something and not finish it. I feel like I'm not able to make art unless I'm practically FORCED to. I just don't get it.
I know that art is the only thing I want to do in my future, but if I can't force myself to draw everyday, then how am I supposed to achieve my goals?
I'm sorry if this seems like a weird journal, but if you guys have any tips for me, I'd appreciate it.

New species?!!
Posted 10 years ago Yeah, so I've been tossing around this idea of this semi-complex alien species for a while. I don't want to reveal too much for fear that my ideas'll get taken (nothing against you guys) so I wont do that until I figure it all out and stuff.
What I will say is that they aren't really furries, but some of them certainly are animal-like. They rarely ever have fur: they usually have either smooth skin or rough, hard scales and they don't have genitalia.
Once I start setting things in stone and actually start drawing, I'll be telling you guys more about this strange, unnamed species!

Posted 11 years agoI first watched the first movie and enjoyed it with all of it's self hate and other hilarious things I saw. After my friends made me watch that, I was ready to go and watch it at the drive through theater.
I won't give anything away, but I loved it. It just made you.... Ugh!

But I think it's be appropriate to make some fan art.
Just cuz I'm not a child doesn't mean I can't appreciate it, right? That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
I need to draw some more anyway so I guess this effected me positively.

I did have the ambition to do something more but that never happened. I'm beginning to think that if I don't start drawing soon, I'll never want to anymore.
I'll have to start doing art challenges for myself now.
A drawing a day? Maybe that ought to help keep me stimulated.

Posted 11 years agoA guy I know is opening up for commissions making fursuit parts every four months or so. He's been having some issues getting some customers but there's five slots open! If you're interested, send him a note and he'll help answer any questions you have.

Posted 11 years agoSorry I haven't been on lately. I finally got through all of the submissions that had piled up just a moment ago (Well over 300 hundred of them). I have to also apologize because I had to nuke all of my journals... You guys have too many awesome things to say and I can only read so many of them.....
On the bright side, I finally have a drawing tablet! Now I join in on this frantic, digital art frenzy. This may mean I'll be posting doodles with it but maybe a sketchbook is more convenient. ^_^'
We'll figure this out as we go.

Posted 12 years agoA friend of mine is stuck in a rut of dept, mistakes, and bad luck. On top of all of this, he needs to move someplace less expensive....but it'll be expensive to move. Both he, his girlfriend, and his roommate are all trying to get ahead but they are, as I said, stuck. If you're generous and have a few bucks to spare, I bet they'd appreciate it! Thank you so much.

Posted 12 years ago1. Video game/ book themed- I can place your character(s) into your favorite book or Video game. I can also do anime or manga if you guys want.
2. Regular headshots- For those of you who don't want anything too crazy.
3. Song interpretations- Have a favorite song? Suggest a song for me to sketch out for you. These could involve your character or just whatever comes out of my head. I'll give the artists credit, of coarse.
4- Chibis
5. Ferals and Taurs- Turn your fursona or characters into different forms! I could also do other species.
6. Re-drawings- Show me a picture you've either had done or one you've done yourself and I'll replicate it. The original artists will get credit where it is due.
If you like any of these ideas or have any new ideas, then comment here.

Posted 12 years ago Hey everyone! I will hopefully be making a PayPal soon so that I can finally get a little money for my work. I'll need to speak with my dad about it. Once I get that set up and I finish the commission I'm working on, then I'll be trying a few things.
One idea I have is making a series of pictures that have lyrics from a particular song and each picture is meant to go with the particular lyrics I will have put with it. I can show my interpretation of the song by using whatever non-existant characters I happen to use or maybe use it to draw some's fursona in the pictures. I think I'll have the price increase the more pictures I have to add.
I'll probably be open to head sketches/drawings with the character's name next to them. These don't sound too hard so the other project I just mentioned.
So what do you guys think about these ideas? Do you have ideas of your own? Let me know!
