small update about how my Fire Emblem furry fangame is going
General | Posted a month agoI know i have been very inactive here, but here is a small update on how things are going.
Chapter 5, while not tested, it is otherwhise 80ish% done, i migth want to include another base conversation there. I also have to include music.
I also started writting chapter 6 intro scene.
I plan to release the next version when i have up to chapter 10 done, plans may change.
I know i am progressing at a glacial pace, i guess motivation comes and goes when it wants, but oh well, its not like i have a deadline for this.
Now here is something more offtopic. Recently have started streaming videogames, that said, i talk in spanish on the streams to improve my speaking communication skills (but i wont lie, if i end up getting a bit of money from it, better), if you are a spanish speaker (or are learning) i would apreciate the support https://www.twitch.tv/eonia00
i also have a youtube channel where i upload de VODS, but again, everything is in spanish https://www.youtube.com/@eonia7667
i have streamed path of the midnight sun (a game that was originally a FE romhack), and i am currently playing Gnosia and Laika: Aged trough blood, all the vods are in the youtube channel

i am still working in the game, currently im focusing in doing all of the sprites for the characters that will be playable in the demo, all combat sprites are done, meaning only map sprites and portraits remain to be done in this regard (unless i decide to do custom sprites for some more skills).
Chapter 3 is 80% done, after i finish with the sprites i want to finish implemententing a gimmick that will be implemente in a few chapters (asumming i decide to put it in more chapters rather than just this one) i also have to put music in and check the script
the demo is intended to be 5 chapters long, after i finish it i intend to search for help at least with the sprites, so that development can be a little faster, i will think on how to do that when the time comes.

General | Posted 2 years agoWell, just days after my first journal, i received a email offering me a sclolarship for a bootcamp, with a programming job offer at the end of it, i accepted, and now i dont have as much free time i thought i would have XD, but still i have more free time and energy than i had before, now there are days where i do something, even if its very little
i have tested chatper 2 difficulty and fixed/adjusted stuff there, now i want to prepare some music loops for future use

General | Posted 3 years agoI have finished my final project and my internship ends this week
These months i didn't do progress in the game because i didnt have enough mental energy to do anything more that involved, effort.
But now i should have more free time, wich makes me able to work in the game litte by litte again
for now i will have to finish writing chapter 2 cutscenes and then test it
