Hello everyone!

The Equines group is running low on art submissions! There's plenty of art to favorite, but I like to submit art to the group's gallery to give more personalized attention to artists and their work. I only have 1 submission for next month (from the fabulous Chistokrovka) so your hoofer group wants YOUR art! Either send a note or leave a comment and your art will be submitted with full credit to the artist. :)

I hope everyone has had a great time at all the recent conventions! If you or anyone you know is running a hoofer meet-up or panel at a convention, please let this group know with a comment or note and hopefully I will post it before the con starts, haha! Hoofer meet-ups are clearly best meet-ups. :)

I'd like to do a meetup and photoshoot for all hooved characters and fans of hooves. So really anyone is welcome to meet. But hooves only in the photos. There's no species panel and I prefer to meet informally anyway. Fursuits encouraged so we can do group photos. We can also meet in the same area after the fursuit parade. Basically I'd like to get together to meet people, talk, and fursuit.

Time: Friday, 2 to 3 PM & maybe run later. Show up anytime 2-3 PM.

Location: Lounge area near photo-shoot photographer. It's between the Creators Lounge and the Main Stage. It's an area with a bunch of couches. See the con map here:

The group will be meeting in the fursuit lounge at 3:30pm on Monday, May 26th. They are also planning on crashing the "Horses and Hooves vs Bears and Wild Animals" afterwards. :)

Hello everyone!

Once again, I have to apologize for the lack of updates. There are over 258 new watchers to watch back so this group is absolutely exploding! I'll also start uploading new artwork from members momentarily! A year-long break between updates means there's a lot to get done, haha!

There are two more cons coming up! Is anyone attending Furry Weekend Atlanta or Biggest Little FurCon in March? They both seem to have a fairly large turn-out and will hopefully be tons of fun! Also, I noticed that there's a hoofer/Equines panel at BLFC! If you're running that panel, please comment below! Hoofers seem to be very underrepresented in the species panels at cons, so good job mystery panelist!

AND I've just discovered two new hoofer groups that may be of interest to all you equines! I've listed them on the profile page as well.

 clydesdalefurs is around for all of the Clydesdales on FA. I know there's a ton of you, haha!

I apologize for the lack of updates for the past, oh, 8 months? Haha. 150 new watches means that I'll definitely try to watch everyone back, but it will take a while to catch up. 150 new watches also means that this group is constantly growing! Yay! I have also flipped the icon around so the good luck doesn't spill out of the horseshoes. :3

Who is going to Midwest Fur Fest this year? A show of hooves and a comment on here will do. It's always nice to have a roll call of attendees so we can keep an eye out for each other. I don't know if there's going to be an Equine/Hoofer panel, but I'll keep an eye out for one posted on the website and update accordingly.

Have fun at the upcoming Rainfurrest everyone! It sounds like it's going to be a blast.

Once again, it's roll-call time for all equines and equine enthusiasts! FC 2012 is coming up right around the corner, so give a shout-out in the comments if you'll be attending. It will be a handy tool for locating our hoofed brethren.

LetoLights here! spiketxtyger is letting me moderate the group and get it up to date. :3
And first off, I have never seen so many watches, comments, submissions, etc. ever. XD It's going to take me a while to go through everything and respond. Since I'm still on winter break, I'll have plenty of time on my hands (hooves?) this week. So be ready for some hardcore updating!

Second off, we should get to know each other better! We'll bond as a herd of sorts, haha! How about... why are you an equine? Or, a fan of equines in general? What do you like about them? What makes them stand out in your mind? Why are we better than every other species (because we know it's true)?

Third, I don't think that I'll upload or fav any more pr0nz. XD I figure that this is a public group, and as such should be kept clean. But if you really, really want pr0nz, maybe I can upload like a supar speshul pr0n picture once a month? That way, everyone is happy! :D
